First let me start by saying that I liked your video before I watched it which is pretty much what I always do. The quality of your videos are always so superb so awesome, I can't wait to see another. Now as before I even watched your video I am commenting as to how Albus Dumbledore knew about the secret cave that Tom Riddle placed his horcrux, I think being Dumbledore and knowing all of Tom Riddle's magpie like behavior and how he was told of how Tom Riddle as a child tortured two muggle children to the brink of insanity in that cave, that he would have naturally guessed that would have been the place for the horcrux. As you remember I believe it was book 6, is when Dumbledore tells Harry how he's able to know how magic leaves traces. That to me is how Dumbledore figured out where location of the necklace horcrux. Again that is just my theory and I added this comment prior to watching the video which I know is going to be fantastic.
I love your channel soooo much and when I first found it I watched pretty much every video of yours 😂 I think that it would be cool though if could do a what if Tonks and Lupin survived
I always wondered what would have changed if Regulus went to Dumbledore with what happened at the cave with Kreacher and Voldemort. Regulus wasn’t stupid and had to know that if anyone could help him take down Voldemort, Dumbledore not only could but would.
I would love to know how regaless black managed to get the horcrux in the first place, did he force himself to drink the cursed water, or did he put the cursed water over fake horcrux so that it would take Voldemort longer to discover the original one was taken
well it was be cause of Kreacher. you see about a year after Regulus joind the death eaters, Voldemort said "I require an elf." Regulus volunteered Kreacher and Voldemort took Kreacher to cave to test out his defences, laughed as he forced Kreacher to drink the potion and then sailed away. Kreacher went to drink the water from the lake and the inferi dragged him under water, and at that moment, Regulus told Kreacher to come back (he dissaperated. elf magic isnt like wizard magic so they can apperate in and out of hogwarts when wizards cant. Volemort considered house elves far below his notice just like all the pure bloods who treat them like slaves. it never accured to him that they had magic he didnt.) and when Kreacher came back home, he told Regulus everything that had happened. soon after that, Regulus told Kreacher to take him to the cave and when they got there, Regulus pulled out the fake locket, and before he drank the potion, he told Kreacher switch the lockets once the basin was empty and leave without him. he also told Kreacher to not tell anyone what he had done, but to destroy the horcux locket and Kreacher watched as Regulus was pulled into the water.
I was going to suggest that Dumbledore sought out the children Riddle had injured for memories of what happened there. He could extract the memories sparing the children extra trauma and perhaps Obliviated them of those memories so that they could be happier. Since Voldemort was a powerful Occlumens Dumbledore would have difficulty reading the memory from Voldemort who would likely place a watered down version on it in his mind for Dumbledore to read. I have often imagined dark wizards coming to the orphanage and training Voldemort beginning at about age 8. No one but Tom would remember that they had been there. Tom would come to Hogwarts already a fully practicing Dark Wizard. He would successfully conceal this from Dumbledore ever though Dumbledore figured out the other garbage he did.
Remember, it was in the Room of Requirement. Unless Dumbledore suspected one was there it's unlikely it would be noticed. Remember, Harry had to badger the ghost to find out where and what it was.
He found it because when he went to get Tom riddle all those years ago he found out that tom had tortured some students in a cave during a trip. From there he probably found the cave bc it has a "special" place in Voldemort's heart
I think that the only way Dumbledore would have only known that he needed a second to accompany him to the cave, is if he had gotten the memory from Kreacher. He had to use legilimency on Kreacher in order to find out that he had given a false message to Harry in the Order of the Pheonix. He might have gotten the secret of the cave then.
Because he saw the picture in the tom tiddle's room in the orphanage where he first met him. He saved the memory and tracked down the cave. Dumbledore was smart enough to understand that the cave must've had some value to him as it was the only picture he had i believe.
We need a Tom Riddle film..focusing on his childhood and early years

I love your videos so much! Harry Potter is an amazing franchise and I love your dedication to your videos. I also love how you do your absolute best to get the facts and do your research. You inspire me to, if I ever do a movie/book theory, get all the facts right, and not just make things up. Thank you so much for putting this content out here, and keep up the amazing work!
Another great vid, keep it up
When Dumbledore showed harry tom's memory of his first time meeting him there was a memory one year previous than him i am sure it was about the cave
If Voldemort was as smart as he thought he was he would have made 7 regular stones or something to be his horcruxes
True, just make a stone your horkrux and sink it in the ocean somewhere
In my head canon, horcruxes have to be made out of something of value to the owner, so the soul doesn't seem lonely or whatever. And must also be kept in a place of significance for the same reason. This skims over the whole "throw a stone in the sea" haha
wow, you think Albus would use veritiserum on those two old Muggles? Well, he was desperate. I think he might as well as legilimency as well, if, as you point out, were still alive.
If it meant destroying Voldemort then i think he would yeah
I think Dumbledore also used Legilimency on Kreacher to exactly discover the cave..,
Actually, I send him a note. (He might not have read it though.)
I must say I look quite evil in that art. I personally don't think I did enough to redeem myself, so this is a good depiction.
It surprised me that Voldermort didn't rehide the horcrux since he knew the elf he used to test the defences was still alive.
I am more amazed about Harry discovering the Ravenclaw's Diadem. That was just sheer luck 100%.
Or poor writing. I could never really see Voldemort leaving a horcrux at Hogwarts without any real protection.
I didn't read the books, so I wonder how the gray lady knew it was in the room if requirements. I can't see voldy just going back and telling her "hey, found your diadem. Gonna go hide it in the room now. "
@@joeschook792 he was so arrogant he thought he was the first and the only one to know about the existence of the room
@@andymeadows8904 yeah that's weird, in the books Harry discovery it Is there cuz he remembers that he hid His potions book in the same statue that the diadem was hidden in, really lucky lel
Plot
I love these vids ❤️
I love your channel soooo much and when I first found it I watched pretty much every video of yours 😂 I think that it would be cool though if could do a what if Tonks and Lupin survived
Plis do make more videos of each of the characters , it was interesting 😁
@@robquin1525 dope, thanks for the info, well explained
@@BeliverInYeshua youre welcome
Thank you doing the video I enjoyed it
Yes Your narration voice rocks
Awesome dude!!
Can you do the life of hermione
Movie Flame is releasing this soon :)
Harry Potter Folklore I love his channel😍😍😘😍
Harry Potter Folklore the Hermione video was an amazing around 40 minutes of my life
He found the Horcrux in the remote cave, yet failed in finding the one hidden in Hogwarts, under his watch.
Remember, it was in the Room of Requirement. Unless Dumbledore suspected one was there it's unlikely it would be noticed. Remember, Harry had to badger the ghost to find out where and what it was.
Horcrux can be anything, cant be detected unless you are voldermort or horcrux itself (harry).
You should do a video on what the Ilvermorny houses common rooms looked like.
What exactly is the function of a rubber duck?
I remember seeing it on a picture in his room at the orphanage when I watched the movie
He found it because when he went to get Tom riddle all those years ago he found out that tom had tortured some students in a cave during a trip. From there he probably found the cave bc it has a "special" place in Voldemort's heart
I absolutely love your channel, I adore Harry Potter and your videos are awesome! You have a lovely voice to listen too as well
thank gina!
"Or simply... The Cave" Man, you'd think with Voldemort's ego and everything he would chose somewhere a bit more... um...
Hi Dean great vid but can you please do the life of Aberforth Dumbledore
Awesome video!
A great video!
I’m still not getting why they’d take those orphans on a field trip to a spooky seaside cave.
It was a trip to the beach. Tom took the other two kids and went "exploring"
Voldemort is the most powerful wizard ever lived,🔥🔥
Questionable. Dumbledore is the most powerful wizard.
❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🖤❣️💕💞💓💗💖💘💝💟; I LOVE your theories!
Can you do the life of Bellatrix lestrange
Hi
Bye
P.s.i love you Dean your amazing at the videos keep up the good work
I think that the only way Dumbledore would have only known that he needed a second to accompany him to the cave, is if he had gotten the memory from Kreacher. He had to use legilimency on Kreacher in order to find out that he had given a false message to Harry in the Order of the Pheonix. He might have gotten the secret of the cave then.
You bring up an interesting point. I never thought about Dumbledore tracking down and speaking to the kids that Tom took into the cave. Makes sense.
Because he saw the picture in the tom tiddle's room in the orphanage where he first met him. He saved the memory and tracked down the cave. Dumbledore was smart enough to understand that the cave must've had some value to him as it was the only picture he had i believe.
I like your thought of him visiting the two young kids for info
Yasssss, I see the notification. I go, "Yasssss gurls, King of HP posted a videos Wooooop woop.". Lol.
