- We've been playing our way through every Ace Attorney game with an Actual Lawyer, and since we just finished up Apollo Justice, it's time to keep pressing on in the franchise with Dual Destinies! We have our real lawyer to playthrough the Ace Attorney franchise and show us just how realistic is the court system depicted in our Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney Dual Destinies let's play as well as our professional voice actor voice all the roles! This time we continue our 2nd day investigation in case 5-2, and learn more about obvious guiltyman, Florent L'Belle.

I think showing your product that people actually want to buy not actually something you can purchase really just doesn't really benefit it you....like at all.

I'd almost be willing to bet Florent L'Belle doesn't answer that second phone because no one's actually calling him. He has two phones so he can call himself and pretend he's in high-demand. Would explain the utter pointlessness of his nonexistent business model. XD
Damian Tenma is a man who, when he does a bit, he commits to it 110%, whether it's breaking out of prison for others or pretending to be a yokai even after he technically doesn't have to. What a chad.
Also, due to the way his thumb is pushing in, I think he's holding a tally counter keeping track of how many times his hand twitches.

that conversation at the office at the beginning is very funny because despite 4 characters talking to each other our actual voice actor Wes didn't have a single line

I gotta say, thank you for all the wonderful compliments you guys have given me throughout my time in high school. I discovered you guys when I was online for school, and didn’t even think that I would have the confidence to post my art with all the other talented artists. Seeing my Grossberg painting in one of the edited vods meant the world to me, and so does having my finals project shown here. Just gotta point out Apollo’s 1ST Mia lessons from Phoenix only came NOW goes to show how little Phoenix has bothered with Apollo across the game so far. That’s a MAJOR issue right there. Good thing there’s no added listening problems, disregarding opinions, and longstanding using of people in this relationship to make it worse. Apollo can take it. “HE’S FINE.”

Now I gotta ask: do the phones on L’Belle’s shoulder have different numbers? Do people save them as “L’Belle’s left shoulder” and “L’Belle’s right shoulder”?

Calls "L'Belle's right shoulder", line is busy. Calls "L'Belle's left shoulder", gets hung up on because (so far) L'Belle has only talked to the right one 😂

My only criticism of L’Belle’s design? He needs bigger shoulder pads.
And more phones on them.
If they're not long and sharp enough to put an eye out, are they even shoulder pads?
The funny thing about the cycle of technology and nostalgia is that L'Belle having flip phones (in the year of the lord 2027) can either mean it's a more advanced version of those touch screen flip phones like the ones Samsung tried to make OR it's a purely nostalgic choice with those more recent flip phone models that have the physical keyboard and everything.

Quick “Course Correction”: Paul was blinded after Jesus appeared to him on the road to Damascus. He was directed to meet with Ananias, and after doing so scales fell from his eyes and he could see again.
The scales weren’t just suddenly there after accepting Jesus, he was blinded.
The Imprisoned Turnabout (the aforementioned prison case in AAI2) has Jay Elbird and his polar bear cub. Simon Blackquill getting a hawk feels so normal in comparison, although I’ve seen headcanons he had Taka before prison and they just let him keep him as his prison designated pet

#Biblespoilers but Zak, what about the fact that-in relation to the scales falling off reference-Saul (aka: Paul) was literally blinded after seeing Jesus while he was on the way to persecute more Christians. The scales falling off was because he was healed by another Christian, he realised Jesus was The Christ while he was blind and waiting to be healed, he didn't get healed immediately after.

He really is good at this bit, though I suspect we're going to learn at some point that he played Tenma Taro opposite Kyubi's Amazing Nine Tails, so he's probably had plenty of practice.
Prij, you're sort of assuming lawyer-client confidentiality is a thing that exists in this universe. So far, I don't think we've ever received explicit confirmation that's the case, and considering all the other oddities to the AA legal system, it might very well not be.

Making a prediction right now: the big thing that will get L'Belle is that he'll know what the statue looked like unbroken, having used it to knock out Mayor Tenma.
Whoa, bible spoilers! And I wouldn't have even known it if Zak hadn't pointed it out. Considering how notoriously unclear that whole book is, it's probably never clarified, but were the scales, like, around his eyes, or directly covering his eyeballs? Because the former would actually be pretty neat, while the latter sounds like a horror story.
Currently, I feel like L'Belle might be the most annoying culprit in the series. Not only have we known he was guilty from minute one, but the game has been dropping more than enough blatant hints to easily realize that even without the intro, yet our main cast are acting as though they haven't yet reached that obvious conclusion, even as he destroys their strongest evidence against him. Also he has the worst business model possible, actively losing money advertising his products then not selling them.
I think he doesn’t do put them in stores is because he’s a narcissist

I am definitely part of the Tonation. Not because I like Ted much, but because L'Belle is an abomination and everything interesting he brings to the table is done 500% better by Shamspeare. I know L'Belle came first, but Shamspeare is just so much better that I can't really like L'Belle much anymore.
