Trip, thank you for this video. I'm 46, and just started camping last year, and kayaking this year. All those fears you talked about in this video I've had while I have been out camping. Never have solo camped. Go with my best friend or my wife. The more I go, the more confident I feel. Yesterday I went up and kayaked in Arkansas with my friend. I saw a bald eagle for the first time in my life. (other than on tv) He was having an evening meal. As I tried to get closer, (I was about 40-50 yards out) He jumped up and spread his wings and tail feathers and flew right passed us. That moment was incredibile! He was beautiful. Thank you for inspiring me to just get out there and experience these wonderful things. God bless you man!
You;'re welcome!!! Thanks for the comments and for watching Doodad! So glad you are Getting Out There!!!! What a great moment that must have been. Keep it up!
I went on my first solo camping trip last weekend. I learned a lot and had a blast! To anyone who is thinking about: do your research, gear up, and get out there!
Ive taught outdoor survival for a short time to young folks and I am an avid outdoorsman. This I will say is some of the very best and balanced advise. Great video for boy scouts or someone taking a novice out on a trip.
great video, i put off camping alone for the longest time because of my fear of sleeping overnight. something about the darkness will spook anyone alone in the woods.
Good topic Trip! I think most people would be hesitant to go alone, its like diving without a dive buddy. You just have to be better prepared and be extra cautious, but with time you will get better at it! Keep those videos coming! I know your life is getting busier these days!
Glad you thought so Charles! Yep, it just takes stepping out of your comfort zone and doing it. I'll keep em rolling. I'm trying to balance everything but I'm getting better.
Thanks for posting this video! Just did my second solo camping trip and ended up in a rainstorm. I listened to a podcast, Sleep with me, that I use to go to sleep and it chilled me out. I knew there was nothing to be afraid of, but my imagination was getting the better of me. Even though I am a novice camper, I felt a bit like a hack and it is good to hear I am not lame for using my cell phone service to chill me out :)
Trip scared me with all this talk about being scared. Never gave it a thought until now. I was scared that I couldn't tie knots until I just watched your knot tying vid. Just kiddin Bud, two good vids.
Thanks Trip. it's true I faced my fears last year with a one night kayak camp, I loved it so much this year I am just back from a 4 night solo wild camp. awesome.
Something that works for fishing without even having to work is when you are moving from area to area while fishing or crabbing is take any swimming lure like a soft plastic swimbait or anything and just "troll" between areas. A lot of fish will just grab it. it works well when the fish are active.
Thanks trip for this message heading off to summer camp and was kinda scared to go but once I watched this video I realized not to and just have fun what your doing thanks trip. :-)
my first trip out i played my Pandora all night so I didn't have to hear anything. I heard tons of coyotes so I just ignored it. I Cant wait to finish the second leg of this river I have been picking at.
I'm your amen choir brother! I love the dark so much, because I'm so used to it, but other people need lights ,and so I can see 'em coming from a mile away. Just like you say...I know the outdoors and it makes sense to me, so if something comes for me in the dark... well...then I'm the shade in the dark that comes for it in kind. And if that thing that comes for me is stronger and readier than I am, then my time is up, and I have lived to the zenith of what I could do.
Mountain lions, cougars, pumas, et cetera hunt by tracking their prey (potentially you), and then circling wide to get ahead of their prey, finding a tree over the expected trail that the prey runs, and then dropping down on the prey unawares as it passes below. I know this, and when I'm in such areas, I listen acutely and I carry a long machete in my hand...at least at night. I am not afraid. I am ready. And it's just what you become comfortable with when you're out there enough.
going on my first kayak camping adventure at end of july! 3 days on current river mo! thanks for all the tips and very good videos. you inspired me to take an adventure for the fist time in many years.
SailingandSuch thanks ohhhh I dont think I can go alone lol lol saw a snake a couple weeks ago on the water ... was closest I came to walking on water lol. thanks for your channel :)
I do 2 day trips: Upper: Burnt Sock Landing to Brunson Landing 11miles and Brunson to Live Oak Landing 10 miles. Camp at nearby Falling Waters State Park. Brnt Sox-Brunson has a cool blue spring to visit and swim in. Lower section more wilderness w/twists n turns under tree canopy.
I think it's a good message to give. Very timely also. I think more folks have some amount of fear, even if they won't admit to it, than most would realize. Some would call it healthy fear, others similar to myself could be immobilized because of it. It's situational, but it's real for a lot of folks. Thanks for the video, and the transparency. Take it easy man!
Glad you think so bud! Healthy to an extent that it makes you aware. You've just got to get out there and face but with baby steps my man. Determine a situation you are worried about then put yourself in that situation but in a controlled environment and you will probably handle it better than you thought you would. One step at a time ;-) You be good yourself!
Hi, Trip !!! I was a deer hunter for over 17 yrs my only fear was rattlesnakes one time it was in December it was a cold day I was walking through the woods on my way to the deer stand and I walked up on 6 rattlesnakes basking in the sun I was like right up on them when I heard their rattles start and I just stopped in my tracks and slowly backed up my heart was pounding with fear lol , my dad killed a rattlesnake that had 13 rattles it was huge the snake was curled up and ready to strike so snakes are my biggest fear !!! Trip have a great Sunday night and enjoy your week !!! Enjoy the great outdoors!!! Danny
Hey Danny! Rattlers.... Yea I've come across several of them in my time in the woods as well. Mostly when backpacking in rocky areas. They do worry me a bit but I see Copperheads more often and they are aggressive at times. But it seems I see them so often I kind of expect them. You have a good one as well!
just got back today from a solo trip and there's nothing more peaceful. had a bear roll through camp Friday night. he just walked right through because I didn't have a fire I just made a noise from my hammock and he took off. get out in the woods people you'll love it. I also carry a side arm just in case but I've never needed to pull it out a single time
SailingandSuch I try every other weekend. I love going with my buddies but somehow these grown men turn into 5 year old girls once the sun goes down lol
Use motion detection lights and alarms. You can throw these alarms too. The best strength is understanding the probabilities and their abilities. Light and noise is the absolute best defenses.
Yea, probably don't really need many defenses when camping though in most places. Well, at least I don't I've been anywhere where it was worth setting them up
Hey Trip. Before watching this I didn't even know what a Yellow Fly was. Now I'm terrified of them. I'm just kidding. My favourite sayings are; "You have nothing to fear but fear itself" and "What's the worst that could happen?". I'm sure the first time I meet an angry bear I'll rethink them.
+Drynet Haha! Yellow flies are pretty bad in some areas down here... They are basically regular flies but they bite pretty bad. Good sayings and you never know lol
Ok, what video is the yellow fly video, because those things are the bane of my existence. And yes, the season is back. I was kayaking the myakka last week and got attacked several times :(
Great video - this could all be applied to life in general. Many people miss out on a lot of great experiences due to their letting fear win. Keep making great videos!
While camping a couple of years ago I felt a 15 foot tall bear walk under my hammock and bump me. When I woke up the next morning I checked. There was about 9 or 10 inches between me and the ground.
Trip, you talk about scary sounds. One critter that causes people no harm, but makes one of the creepiest sounds in the female fox when she's looking for a mate.
Oh boy, I might have heard it before but I wouldn't have known what it was. I just looked it up and heard it and those are the screams I'm talking about that sound like a woman screaming. Not knowing what that is would freak some people out.... lol
I was out on the sup/yak today... stepped off to do some wading and fish, in an area where there are no gators, and for some reason in muddy water and underwater grass... i got spooked about gators...lol. I just got on the sup and moved spots even though i know there was absolutely zero chance I was going to even see a gator...much less step on or near one. :) Crazy what our minds can do.
Thank Trip. Some good tips for sure man. I think the worse times for me are similar to yours. I can put up with animals and noises. What is scary sis shady people that you don't know setting up camp not for from you in a non campsite type place. Another scary time.. it was one you had, was being on Stone Maintain with that huge storm rolling over. The threat of lightning was high. Glad you made it through that one. That was a little of a sketchy situation there. The same day, I think your hammock broke. IDK for sure. Anyway. thanks again for the tips. Nice to hear this from someone that's been out there.
Yep, people..... Stone Mt. was a little nerve racking but the lightning didn't get super close to me that time fortunately. It was certainly close the time on that little island.... Yep, hammock broke the next morning lol Always an Adventure!
Thank you for sharing. I just found your channel and already watched several of your videos. I've been trying to pump myself up to head on out on a solo, so thanks for the encouragement.
You're welcome!!! Glad you found the channel and are enjoying the content. I hope you do Get Out There solo soon Bobby, it's really pretty simple and very rewarding! Go for It!
Just recieved my new Imperial Hat...thanks for the $10 discount using your code. Gonna love this hat and look forward to wearing it for many river paddling adventures!
Thanks, I like the Kahuna as well. Different yaks for different trips. Unfortunately there is no one size fits all. If I'm not going to some long distance or if it's not cold/rainy I'll probably be on the Kahuna. I just enjoy it so much!
I'm a woman whose scared of Gary Hilton types. I love camping and would do it all the time alone if it weren't for worrying a man will come into my tent at night, tie me up, perform heinous acts, strangle me to then later revive me to do it all over again. Its hard being a woman.
I can not stand tents.I have to sleep in them with the wife but on my true adventures, I tarp camp.I play in heavy bear country. The bears are harmless.I am not afraid of them. That said I can not stand being stuck/blinded by a tent when one comes sniffing around.Or like you said to hear a mouse scratching around and having to wonder what it is.I have been surprised in the dark by a curious black bear who actually stepped on me in its haste to get out of there when I woke up.It was truly as afraid of me as I was of it.
Ha! That's funny getting stepped on by a bear lol Nah, never had issues with snakes. I have had a few frogs hopping towards the fire at night though lol
Thank you for your advice and encouragement. Although I consider myself adventurous and I’ve camped in many places around the globe, I’ve always had a buddy. I’m about to embark on my first solo trip. Which is exciting to me but the night time is concerning. I’m more afraid of people than wildlife! This worry isn’t stopping me but I decided to keep it a weekend camp so I can get my nerves in order. And I easily envision myself being bolder on bigger and longer solo trips!! Thanks again and may God bless you too!
He's talking about people being scared of animals and such when I would be afraid of some ET's coming, taking me, and poking my bum with high tech instruments of torture
I know Kayaking is the primary focus of this channel, but camping is another huge focus. Maybe you could do some episodes of just solo backpack camping, or even practice some bushcraft. Not sure what Florida really has to offer in terms of state forests but I'd like to watch strictly camping videos too especially if you're looking for a change of pace. Anyway, Excellent video! And solo camping can be a little frightening edit: also, I appreciate you took the time to go out and make this video on the water and not just your back yard :)
Glad you enjoyed it Jonny. I "might" do just some camping videos without the yak. I actually have a few that I made years ago before I was kayak camping. I added the kayak since it was much better on my back and knees for the long term and my love for the water. Here is a backpacking video - ua-cam.com/video/wM5kyeM6OUQ/v-deo.html I enjoyed filming on the board for this video. I was out so I figured it would be a nice change of pace ;-)
SailingandSuch Hey man this doesn't have much to with this video but my therm a rest chair came in today and can't wait to go this weekend. Ps. I love this videos and have thought about moving somewhere with more rivers to kayak on! Thanks for all the videos!
Oh cool, congrats on the awesome chair! Hope you have a blast! Moving somewhere for more rivers to paddle? Sounds like you've got your priorities straight lol
Haha! Thanks W B, I appreciate you subscribing! Hope you enjoy the future videos. Lots to catch up on if you haven't seem them yet, I've certainly got plenty of funny moments!
02:53 you could smell something! Probably crapped your pants. Haha. Lightning storms down here in Florida can be super sketchy. Had one bad paddle trip with lightning and I needed to check my drawers! Great vid Trip. You are awesome. Hope to see ya at ICAST. Maybe we can do some vids/live streams together there. A lot of truth about gators. Spent a lot of time around them on some rivers and they had zero interest in me. Had 5' shark follow me in my canal leading to my house. He was likely just following me due to mullet bait I had been using. I just avoid swimming in murky water or wade/surf fishing in it. Just need to be smart. I also don't kayak with my dog in gator waters.
Its the truth! I smelled smoke or something burning just a few moments after the lightning struck. I was filming and you can see my reaction when I first smelled it.... Strange! I'm really hoping to get down there and I think I will be able to. Lets definitely get together! That would be fantastic! Yep, I try o stay away from the murky waters as well. If it looks like a swimming pool I'll be jumping in! Aw man, I would be broken if something happened to my dog in front of me.... Sheesh.... Thanks for watching and commenting bud!
My dog and I kayaked all over Northern California and Southern Oregon in 2011-20 I had one time I got freaked out that was when a bear visited our camp at about 2am and sniffed my tent my dog a jack Russel Beagle mix went ballistic and the bear ran off as the dog bit the bear on the nose thru the tent fabric. We still kayak but in Texas Arkansas Oklahoma and Louisiana Have no fear of being alone because I am not alone I got my best friend...Issac my dog
Love camping and the animals. What worries me is stroke, heart attack, accidence and people. I know you cant do anything about these items. even if your in good shape.
What would you do if in the middle of the night you hear an animal right by, or even brushing up against your tent and you have no idea what it is? What if you have your rainfly closed and can't see what it is? What if the rainfly is open and you can see it through the netting? What if it's a BEAR? Do you make noise to scare it? Stay quiet and hope it will just go away?
You yell as loud as you can and hopefully scare the animal away I would think..... Maybe be quite if he starts trying to come in on you. If he is just being curious I'd leave him be.
That's why I have a dry box just for my 9mm! All the things that go bump in the night should fear me. This Army Veteran is well armed and we'll trained!
I can go alone or with people, i don't let things bother me because i research my environment as much as possible. like trip said most things in the woods are scared of you and will run when they see you , but the stuff that doesn't run i handle with my 40 if need be lol. my weakness is my filming, i really need to get better at my videos. its hard to get good sound with my gopro when talking normal, guess i need to get a olympus cam from trip lol
I went camping by myself in a state park. When I got there I was the only one there. Later on a guy pulled into the site next to me. He was weird and he talked talked to himself. I waved and said hello and he didn't respond. Not gonna lie I was freaked out. I barely got any sleep. Not worried about animals just crazy people.
Trip, have yet to do a solo camping trip...I may start with a simple local backpacking trip...it is something I want to do...but I am also very social person so I am always conflicted about this subject.
You know, I'm pretty social and outgoing as well but I also enjoy being alone at times. Plus the attitude/perspective of the company you bring makes a big difference as well. I'd say give it a try once, you never know....
I always go alone. I can almost never find anyone to go with me. The only people that want to go are people that I can't stand.
+Applejack1396 It can be tough for me to get people along with schedules often not lining up. Plus I think I do better filming alone.
I hear that I luck out my wife loves to camp and shoot so I never have go alone.
as in your wife hahahahaha
Why would you wanna go camping with someone i go camping to get away from people leave phone at home and just get away from everyone and everything
I fear the sketchy people not anything in the woods or water
Yep, that's the reality we live in unfortunately....
Yep, especially if there is more than one person you come across.
Agreed.
Carry a tazer gun or a gun with rubber bullets
@@seanviper99 a real gun with real bullets. Shoot to kill.
Trip, thank you for this video. I'm 46, and just started camping last year, and kayaking this year. All those fears you talked about in this video I've had while I have been out camping. theres nothin in the woodsthat scares me more than my xwife, and she hates campin so ,letsrock
Ha!!! That's funny Don!
I went on my first solo camping trip last weekend. I learned a lot and had a blast! To anyone who is thinking about: do your research, gear up, and get out there!
Good deal! Glad you enjoy it. Thanks for the comment!
Two words. Dueling Banjos!
+Bbq man Squeal! Lol
I white rafted the Chattooga River where the movie was made we just paddle very fast lol very muck a great river to paddle
Poor Bobby.
A squealing pig sends me into a panic to this very day!!! hahahahhohohoho
Ive taught outdoor survival for a short time to young folks and I am an avid outdoorsman. This I will say is some of the very best and balanced advise. Great video for boy scouts or someone taking a novice out on a trip.

It can be awkward at first, but it's well worth it! Overcome!
Hey Trip, I just wanted to say thanks for putting so much work into these videos for our enjoyment. Thank you.
You're very welcome Bob. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment!
That's where a good camping dog comes into play.
Very true!
I don't want to be murdered in my sleep in my tent or in a hammock.
Ha! I doubt that would happen in most rural areas.... If you are in the middle of the woods, most people won't be snooping around at night....
You’re safer from murderers while sleeping in the woods than in your home. Serial killers stalk the streets and neighborhoods.
A well trained and disciplined adventure dog is a wonderful thing.
True.....
Life is too short to be worried or scared just get out there be active me relax while kayaking and camping.
Exactly!
Thanks for posting this video! Just did my second solo camping trip and ended up in a rainstorm. I listened to a podcast, Sleep with me, that I use to go to sleep and it chilled me out. funny Buddy...i am on a solo overnighter in the deep Norwegian woods it is 00:00 and i am locking your video 😁
✌
+Kajagd Norwegen Nice! How cool! Enjoy yourself! 😎
I grew up a few miles from this place :) Good video. I am mostly scared of fellow (crazy) humans when in the woods alone.
Oh cool! Yep, the people are crazy these days....
Trip scared me with all this talk about being scared. Never gave it a thought until now. I was scared that I couldn't tie knots until I just watched your knot tying vid. Just kiddin Bud, two good vids.

I love the smell of lightning in the morning.💚🖤💚🌊🚣♂️🌬

I should start doing that Marty. I guess I'm just lazy in that aspect though.... I should start... I should start....
Thanks trip for this message heading off to summer camp and was kinda scared to go but once I watched this video I realized not to and just have fun what your doing thanks trip. :-)
You're welcome Terrence! Hope you have a blast at summer camp bud. Make it a point to have more fun than anyone else there ;)
we all love you Trip.
Love yall too!!!!! 👍😉👊
“You merely were adopted the dark, I was born in it” -Trip Smith or maybe Bane
Yes! Great line!!!!
my first trip out i played my Pandora all night so I didn't have to hear anything. I heard tons of coyotes so I just ignored it. I Cant wait to finish the second leg of this river I have been picking at.
Ha! That works! Hope you enjoy the next leg.
your videos have inspired me, in 2 weeks i am going on my first overnight solo kayaking trip. keep up the awesome videos.
Very nice Sean! Hope you enjoy your trip!
I'm your amen choir brother! I love the dark so much, because I'm so used to it, but other people need lights ,and so I can see 'em coming from a mile away.

I am not afraid. I am ready. And it's just what you become comfortable with when you're out there enough.
But for the most part camping in the Eastern US is far safer than driving on the Interstate.
Good stuff. Yep, pretty darn safe lol
I had an armadillo crawl up under the tent once and it freaked the boys out, lol it was so funny.
going on my first kayak camping adventure at end of july! 3 days on current river mo! thanks for all the tips and very good videos. you inspired me to take an adventure for the fist time in many years.
+batteryphil Nice! Glad you enjoy the videos and I hope your adventure is just that, an adventure!
I'm scared of people too.
Rafael Salas Jr yes. People themselves are the biggest threat.
Yep, people.... Crazy world....
The reality is there's probably more well-intending people than bad ones. We just see too many movies and news stories that we become paranoid.
yeah san fransisco is way way more scary at night than anything in mother nature lol
not got the nerve up to go kayak camping alone yet Trip but I sure am loving kayaking. I go every wkend!!! super love it!!
Well, you don't have to go alone. As long as you Get Out There, thats what matters ;) Glad you are enjoying it!
SailingandSuch thanks ohhhh I dont think I can go alone lol lol saw a snake a couple weeks ago on the water ... was closest I came to walking on water lol. thanks for your channel :)
YES!!! Excellent topic brother!!!! Def gonna share this one!!!
Glad you enjoyed it and a BIG THANKS for the same my man! thumbs up!!!!
Great video Trip. This should help some folks, because what you said makes perfect sense.
I'm going solo camping in a few weeks-1st time. Your video is so timely! Thanks Trip! Love your videos!
Nice! Hope you enjoy it!
Love Holmes Creek, especially the middle section to the end of the Fl Paddle Trail.
+johnnyb395 Awesome! I'm going back this week ;)

SailingandSuch I try every other weekend. I love going with my buddies but somehow these grown men turn into 5 year old girls once the sun goes down lol
You deserve a medal for sitting there talking to the camera while fending off the yellow flies.
Haha! It was a little rough. I was glad to get into some cold spring water soon after to ease the welps.
Great video Trip. You always keep me thinkin about my next great adventure. Thanks man!
+b williams Glad you enjoyed it, your welcome. Get Out There!
@2:52 freshly soiled pants? Nah, the sketchy people are what gets me.

for people avoidance, I feel safer camping on a small Island in a lake or Loch for us in Scotland.
+BorntoWalk007 I like Islands for the same reason. It's like they are my island when I'm alone ;)
Well said, my friend.
Thanks!
Already had my worst fear happen on an overnighter. Was probably the single scariest experience of my life and nearly ruined camping for me forever.
+ironpirate49 Oh wow. At least you still going for it!
Great one Trip!! Many folks can relate to videos such as this.
Thanks Scott! I was hoping people could relate ;-)
Good message. I haven't been out on my own in a long time. looking forward to it this summer.
Glad you thought so Jason. Hope you enjoy yourself this summer when you Get Out There!

I know all about the owls and coyotes. Those owls land right above my tent in the middle of the night and never shut up.
Yes! I've been kept awake by a pesky owl a time or two as well.... Good stuff lol
Not knowing what that is would freak some people out.... lol
Look up "vixen scream". I heard it once. In a camp, alone, and hearing it for the first time, would be unsettling if you did not know what it was.
Oh yea, our mind is certain good at creating some fear lol
Go for It!
Being creeped out on my camping trips make it more fun lol.....some creepy areas along econfina creek
That's actually kinda true!
Just recieved my new Imperial Hat...thanks for the $10 discount using your code. Gonna love this hat and look forward to wearing it for many river paddling adventures!
Awesome! You're welcome! Hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoy mine ;-)
trip I like your kahuna kayak or paddle board it looks convenient but I prefer your kayak intead
Yea, unfortunately we never know....
I have to ask .Do you have problems with the snakes at night, sleeping on the ground?
Ha! That's funny getting stepped on by a bear lol Nah, never had issues with snakes. I have had a few frogs hopping towards the fire at night though lol
Thanks for reminding me of ALL the things that can happen.. Now Im never going alone!! LOL
Aw now Mark... But I told you all those things aren't very realistic ;)
Great tips.
Thanks Wayne!
Excellent trip loved it good advice
Thanks Steve, glad you enjoyed it!
You're welcome! Glad you are taking on a solo trip! Hope you find it peaceful and relaxing... Get Out There!
Thanks for this
You're welcome Keegan!
He's talking about people being scared of animals and such when I would be afraid of some ET's coming, taking me, and poking my bum with high tech instruments of torture
Oh boy.... ET's are scared of me ;-)
I know Kayaking is the primary focus of this channel, but camping is another huge focus. Maybe you could do some episodes of just solo backpack camping, or even practice some bushcraft. Not sure what Florida really has to offer in terms of state forests but I'd like to watch strictly camping videos too especially if you're looking for a change of pace.
Anyway, Excellent video! And solo camping can be a little frightening
edit: also, I appreciate you took the time to go out and make this video on the water and not just your back yard :)
Glad you enjoyed it Jonny. I "might" do just some camping videos without the yak. I actually have a few that I made years ago before I was kayak camping. I added the kayak since it was much better on my back and knees for the long term and my love for the water.
Here is a backpacking video - ua-cam.com/video/wM5kyeM6OUQ/v-deo.html
I enjoyed filming on the board for this video. I was out so I figured it would be a nice change of pace ;-)
Awesome! I'll check that out :)
Amen brother
Yes sir!
Good stuff
Thanks!!!!
Great points & great video Trip!!!!!
Thanks Rachelle!
thank you for another excellent video sir!!!!
You are very welcome sir!
What a great video!
Thanks Alan!
I'm getting ready to try the spoil islands in Brevard Co Fl. as soon as the sky clear up, so people are the fear for me. lol
Great message man.
+roger green Nice! Hope you enjoy it! Make some great memories Roger. Glad you enjoyed the video.
I love camping on the spoil islands I live on the gulf coast
Josh sanders told me about you. I'll be looking forward to watching your vids. Looks great already.
Oh cool! Thanks for coming over and checking things out. Hope you enjoy!
The bigfoots in your area are pretty loud! Watch out for them sam-scatches!!!
+LikeABossOutdoors Ha! They better watch out for me!
Will you go camping with me? I'm too scared of bears.
Lol No bears down here to worry about where I'm at. Maybe you could jump in a subscriber trip?
SailingandSuch Hey man this doesn't have much to with this video but my therm a rest chair came in today and can't wait to go this weekend.
Ps. I love this videos and have thought about moving somewhere with more rivers to kayak on! Thanks for all the videos!
Oh cool, congrats on the awesome chair! Hope you have a blast! Moving somewhere for more rivers to paddle? Sounds like you've got your priorities straight lol
SailingandSuch Yessir!!
Great video buddy I always enjoy watching your videos
Thanks bud! Glad you enjoy them.
This dude is hilarious. I had to subscribe.
Haha! Thanks W B, I appreciate you subscribing! Hope you enjoy the future videos. Lots to catch up on if you haven't seem them yet, I've certainly got plenty of funny moments!
It all started with Dorothy. Lions, tigers, and bears. Oh my.
Precisely! lol
Haha that's awesome!
That one time at band camp lol 😂 cool vid dude :)
Exactly lol!
Thx trip. U always do great vids. 😀
Zachary, thanks bud and you are more than welcome!
Love camping and the animals. What worries me is stroke, heart attack, accidence and people. I know you cant do anything about these items. even if your in good shape.
Very good point Jim! We never know..... But we can't like the "what if's" stop us...
I suspect having to watch Jaws before every trip to the beach when you were young didn't help much. LOL! Great video buddy!
That's the truth right there... lol Thanks mom!
Helpful video 👍
Glad you enjoy them Nathan!
Really glad I found this video. I plan on doing the AT feb2019, so this helped a lot. Glad I won’t have to witness sharks and gators. Haha
Yea, you shouldn't have to worry about them to much ;) Have fun on the AT!!!! Thanks for watching!
well shoot I never was scared before then you had to go give me a whole list of things to fear.......jk great video
Haha!!!! Thanks!
This is n excellent video
Thank you!
What do you do in a thunderstorm? How do you stay safe if you don’t have great shelter? Never camped in one so just curious.
Not much I can do... If it gets really bad I will sit on my PFD to insulate me from the ground to try and help.
That's why I have a dry box just for my 9mm! All the things that go bump in the night should fear me. This Army Veteran is well armed and we'll trained!
Haha i hear ya!
Great comment, well said. Yea, getting the camera and filming thing down can be tough I'll admit. It's a forever learning and evolving process.
Yep, that's the kind of weird that worries me as well. You never know what someone could be thinking....
"You'll think you've heard something coming through the water" Your mind will play tricks on you sleeping next to flowing water
Yes sir, it sure will....
This reminds me.... Trip do you conceal carry on your trips?
I used to... Not so much any more.
Lets Gooo!
Yes sir!!!!
