i hated this game for not having an armor then he threw away the medallion of time . and he didn't wield the eagle/lion sword showed in the trailer, the trailer fooled us.
Sorry for being late Basically, the 3 game which is called the two thrones was originally gonna be called kindred blades They wanted to continue the warrior within atmosphere and gameplay but when the original creator of prince of persia sands of time saw what they did with the sequel (warrior within) he demanded to change the 3 game into what we got (the two thrones) which is a pussyfied version of what initially was supposed to be (more badass)
0:30 the 1st assassination before assassins creed and it looks 10 times better than what assassins creed progressed to! and yes i wish they kept making prince of persia instead of assassins creed but the good thing that came out of the way it did is that assassins creed is ruined instead of prince of persia

What do I mean? First off, the sense of exploration was removed. WW was about freely exploring the castle, TT is "go from point A to point B", to me it was terrible. Secondly, the combat itself was dumbed down - no more brutal fatalities, no more vertically and horizontally splitting enemies in half. WW had like 50 kinds of weapons, TT had like 3 maybe? The best thing about WW - the free form fighting system was not upgraded, it was downgraded. Thirdly, the game had only 1 ending, and the story was very simple and boring. WW story was really interesting and surprising, and had 2 possible endings. TT was also filled with really bad dialouges, meanwhile WW had very little of it - only necessary things were said. I also loved the WW music, and hated TT soundtrack.
that is the REAL POP and that is why people didn't like WW as much as sands of time and TT don't get me wrong i liked it but the rock music the blood and gore NOT A PRINCE OF PERSIA ELEMENT and the POP games were alawys straight forward hell this game balanced it out it wasn't always serious as fuck the prince and the dark princes's dialouge between each other was funny and it mad a change it up a little
To be honest I don't really care whether the atmosphere is dark/serious or not, I care about the quality of the dialogues. WW didn't make me cringe. TT made me cringe EVERY. SINGLE. CUTSCENE. Music is a matter of preference. As for the "straight forward" part - absolutely not. The original PoP was about exploration. Just as much as WW. But it can not be denied, that TT was a step backward. SoT set a new standard for action games when it came out, it absolutely blew everyone's minds. WW took the mechanisms of SoT and made them even better, improved animation, combat, mechanics, and experimented with form of the game, and what did TT add? Retarded QTE kills, and other than that, dumbed down every single aspect of the game for the sake of jerking off bigger audience, And the story? SoT was pretty straight-forward, but at least the ending was surprising, there was no happy ending, and Prince lost the love of his life. WW had incredible story about Prince manipulating the shit out of timeline, even allowing alternate versions of him from different timelines to be killed in order to save himself, the 2 endings were great and the fact that everything you did was turning against you, like in the finest ancient greek play! And TT story? It was pretty much non-existent, and was dumbed down to "go kill the bad guy". TT was one of the biggest gaming disappointments for me.
