I have watched your instruction video a few times and feel I might just be able to create a resin art piece. This is the best one out there. Thank you for sharing your gifts and abilities. God bless!
love the different designs...I note I watch and a lot of artists do things differently which I am always learning from. Thank you for sharing... one year later. :)
This make is stunning. There must be other things you can do with these beautiful makes in addition to wall art. What a good idea cutting up the "gold" leaf into strips first.
Thank you so much for sharing your talent and this tutorial. I have been wanting to try this for quite some time now, but have been intimidated by how complex this technique looks. Until now! The way you explained each step and your reassurance has inspired me and given me the confidence and courage I needed to give this a go. Thank you so very much Edna...I feel so blessed to have found your channel. I look forward to more inspiring tutorials in the near future ✨️
What a lovely comment, thanks so much. If you do get round to making your own, id love to see a picture, send them to me by direct message on Instagram. A mini geode is a great way to start if you feel unsure about making these, enjoy arting 🥰😘💞💞💞
first time on your channel and I am so happy that an artist shared her knowledge on how to do resin art on canvas. This is absolutely gorgeous and your voice is so soothing and I presume that you are from UK? As the English was more comprehensive for me as mother tongue is French 🥰🥰
Excellent instruction for this beautiful piece! I do have one question though. Do you do anything to the back to prevent the canvas from dipping in the center from the weight of the resin?
Wow - very interesting to watch. Very pretty. Should you use black matte acrylic paint for the base coat. Could you us semi gloss or gloss for the base coat of black?
This was an incredible tutorial that I found to be so very helpful! Thank you! I also love how you added the gold with the silver! :) I do however have a question if you don't mind me asking. How do you prepare the back of your canvas for this? I am afraid that the resin work and pieces will be too heavy and cause my canvas to sag (even though I do have keys to tighten it up). I did notice that the back of your canvas was black with something(?). Any suggestions for a beginner in regards to this? I have been wanting to try this for some time now but this is the primary reason why I have not yet. I am afraid I will waste resin and product with me using a store bought primed and prestreched canvas and not a wood board or panel. Thanks so much for this tutorial and your piece is absolutely beautiful :)
Do u have to spread your resin on the board fast so that it doesn't start curing while your in the process? I had a large board and by the time I was done mixing my resin and powders it started to harden so it hardly moved after I poured it on the board and I had to come back with a 2nd pour to fix it
If you’re measuring 50 g and 50 g that is not actually by volume like your text said that is by weight volume would be if you’re putting 10 mL and 10 mL if you have to weigh your resin out that is by weight not by volume just a correction so other people don’t get confused 😊
I'm sure they're not confused but thanks :) People want to know how much resin i used sothe quantity I give is just a guide, obviously weigh or measure by volume, depending on your brand of resin.

Beautiful! Where do you get the druzy startdust from that you mixed in with the black?
Awesome! Thanks for your sharing. The geode piece looks so glitter and attractive!
Excellent instruction for this beautiful piece! I do have one question though. Do you do anything to the back to prevent the canvas from dipping in the center from the weight of the resin?
Hi, not if the canvas is this small this was a 30 x 30 cm. If it's larger or very large use a canvas bord instead.
Very pretty!!
Thank you Sheri 😘
Amazing 👍🏻
Thanks sweetie :)
What a beautiful piece! Question, how does the canvas not bow from the weight?
Thank you, i did this short reel showing how 🙂 ua-cam.com/users/shortsZojNrF4FdII?feature=share
Wow - very interesting to watch. Very pretty.
Should you use black matte acrylic paint for the base coat. Could you us semi gloss or gloss for the base coat of black?
I used an acrylic water-based paint but any finish will work for the background❤
Where do you get the clusters? This is lovely.

I buy the molds from gold line Artistry and art4start.
Lovely! Can I use TriArt Liquid Glass rather than epoxy?
I don't know what that product is.

@@EdnaWargon THANK YOU SOOO MUCH!!!
Where do you buy crystal pieces?
Also do you put a board under canvas mine tends to dip in middle?
if the canvas is small no need to, it wont dip. for a larger canvas add some thick cardboard to the back before pouring. i make my own crystals :)
Очень красиво! 👏👏👏🇷🇺 Очень хорошо, что есть перевод!
What the glue they use for gold leaf while doing one off these thanks
Its gold leaf glue
Excellent
Thank you! Cheers!
So beautiful😍.. which heat gun did you use?? I have the 1800w heat gun I don't know if it is safe or not🤔
I just use a cheap one, as long as it works it should be safe🙂
@Edna Wargon Art ok thank you 🤗
Where do you get the vinyl sticker ? I’ve looked all over
My latest video uses vinyl, check it out for the details.
perfect
Love u mam ❤❤❤❤❤

No, not with this brand of resin. What brand were you using?
Hi, just wondering why you don't paint the back to complete it
The back, you mean the back of the canvas?
Beautiful ❤️🇩🇰
🤗 thanks so much for watching and your lovely comment 🩷
супер! ❤
Hi...do we need to use resin on back of the canvas n then paint on front?
Please let me know
Not of the canvas is small. Only for larger canvases or use some cardboard on the back to prevent the resin sagging in the middle
@@EdnaWargon thanku 💕
Did you mix hardner in the resin
Of course, as I showed in my tutorial
I need to know this canvas that you use it is a fabric canvas or just wood canvas? Please answer me
Hi, its a standard coton canvas pre primed.
I can’t seem to find one that is an art resin except the brand, ArtResin. Even from Texperts. Help!
I'm not a fan of art resin, too many bubbles and stinks! I used Teexperts Art Coat resin, worked fab!

Hi I can’t find Art epoxy on their website 😊
You're right, i looked there is none any more but ive used their normal epoxy and it works just as well, so use that 🥰
Thanks so much ❤
ماشاء الله
How did you prepare your canvas for resin?
I used a good quality pre primed canvas.
Wʜʏ ʀᴇsɪɴ ʙᴀʟʟ ᴘᴇɴ ᴅʀʏ ᴀғᴛᴇʀ ғᴇᴡ ᴅᴀʏs??
You ALWAYS need to wear a mask while working with resin it’s chemicals

Beautiful, but as a beginner, totally worthless because you skip about 90% of the steps. Lovely, but I learned nothing.
I was planning on doing more like these, what was missing for you, and I'll include it my next free youtube tutorial 🙂
Gorgeous!
Thank you! Cheers!
Beautiful ❤
Thanks 🥰
