This belongs in an art gallery!! Your skill is simply phenomenal, let alone the clear audio, good volume, clean editing... You're an artist in all the ways there is to be one 😂❤ Thanks so much for sharing, such attention to detail!! 💕✨
Wow... THANK YOU so much for the amazing feedback! Your comment really means a lot to me and I'm so glad that you enjoyed my video and the way I put it together. Feedback like yours is REALLY helpful so I genuinely appreciate you sharing it with me.
I think this piece you created is gorgeous lot of time and effort to make it this beautiful, to the people who didn’t like the music, this is a art channel not a music channel and if you’re really passionate about art the way this artist is you’re don’t hear the music thank you
Thank you so much and I appreciate your support in a BIG way! I put A LOT of thought into the music I use in each of my videos (I don't know why that aspect is so important to me, but it is) and I was SO freaking happy with the music I used in this video because I thought it suited it so perfectly (ESPECIALLY the part of the song that's playing when I show a closeup of the finished result! I get SO excited when I see that part lol) so I was quite surprised and a little disappointed when I started getting negative feedback regarding the music, but I also get that house music and electronica isn't exactly everyone's cup of tea. Lol.
Thank you for putting your beautiful art piece on for us all to see, watch and learn from it’s gorgeous and I learned from it hugely .So I appreciate the time and effort you made in showing us what you did to create it . Thank you 🤩 ❤
Such a beautiful job. Thanks for sharing. I didn’t see how you glued the glittery mix onto the clear crystals. Would you please advise me on that. Thanks again for your expertise.
Thank you so much, that truly means a lot to me! I appreciate you for watching and make sure to subscribe if you'd like to see more 🙂 Also, good luck on your first geode! It can be tricky and tedious, but all of the hard work that goes into it is SOO rewarding once it's all finished!
OMG!!! I cannot believe how much attention to detail you show in this piece of art. It really shows, though. It is gorgeous! I do have a question, though. With all of that glass and resin, your canvas must be very heavy. Did you do anything to strengthen it?
Your comment makes me so happy! thank you!! ☺️ And It's 10 pounds! (10.2 to be exact) lol. I sprayed the back of the canvas with water before I began, which makes the canvas as tight as a drum, but that's it.
I've been acyclic pouring for a while now just started to step into resins nothing like this yet just a few coasters 😅but its a start this is🔥🔥definitely have my sub 💯
Absolutely stunning. New subscrieber here! I'm brand new to resin and I hope someday I can produce something even halfway close to this beauty. And btw I love your music . ;)
Thank you so much and I truly appreciate you for watching, subscribing, & for loving the music! Lol.
Loved the video-thank you for doing it. (I wanted relax tho, but couldn’t bc of that music!). Also made it difficult bc I had to turn it down and back up when you talked. But otherwise loved the piece! 👍🏼
Beautiful piece!! At first look, I wouldn't have imagined all the time and detail it took to create. I just started watching resin and glass art projects and I'm getting hooked!! Can I ask how much that piece weighs??
Thank you so much! And here's a link for the cubic zirconia-like crystals: www.michaels.com/product/10695488 (I'll put that link in the video description as well)
Hi, I have only just found your chanel, and have subscribed. Hope I'm not too late for a quick question....do you re-inforce your canvases on the back to make it more solid and level? And if so, how? This art piece is gorgeous!!❤❤
I sprayed the back with water before I began to tighten up the canvas, but that was all. Thank you so much for subscribing to my channel and I'm happy to answer any questions you may have!
Gorgeous! I'd like to make something like that myself but I've never used resin before. What would be the approx. cost of all materials used here, including the resin and the canvas?
Over $100. The resin is the most costly thing. Check out my list of geode art-making materials in my Amazon shop, if you'd like: www.amazon.com/shop/fluidexpressionsbysarah/list/MVLLDAEOIPF4?ref_=cm_sw_r_apann_aipsflist_AG8ZNYZ8P0ZV3XZ51PMD_1&language=en_US
Hi! Loved your piece.. just some questions, how is your resin so thick and gel like. I use 2:1 resin but mine is still very watery and runny. Also at what stage do you use these pens for highlighting, is it after curing for 24 hours or before that. Please reply
Resin is quite runny at first but quickly starts gradually thickening up more and more. So the reason why mine was nice and thick when I poured it was simply because it had naturally thickened during the 5-10ish minutes that it took me to separate the resin into multiple smaller cups and mix the different colors of pigment powders into each cup of resin prior to pouring. As for your 2nd question- I added the line details with the paint markers after the final layer of (colored) resin had fully cured for 72 hours, but BEFORE adding the final flood coat of clear resin.
The celestial diamond starlight fore glass you have is oddly not the same as on Amazon. Theirs has a reflective side which I don't want. I want it completely clear like yours.
Did you use the link that I provided for that fire glass in the description below the video? I just clicked on the link to make sure that it did in fact lead people to the right product and it does so that's why I wanted to ask.
I love your tips, detailed instructions and the way you filmed the process, but GAWD that audio is annoying as hell. I literally have to mute my TV to be able to tolerate watching it.
@FluidExpressions just something to consider- are you making your videos for yourself or for the viewers? There's science behind music and how different styles impact the brain and learning. That style of music is just very contrary to what a viewer is trying to do while watching, which is pay attention to details, focus, relax and learn. I look forward to future videos with more thoughtfully-chosen music, as your videos are well done, otherwise.
@@FluidExpressions yes it is. I have all the glass laid. Had to sand and repaint. Now i have to try to get the colors right. Wish me luck! Thanks for replying. 😁
Of course! I reply to about 99% of the comments people leave. It's the considerate thing to do, in my opinion. And good luck with your geode piece! I'm sure you'll love it by the time you're done and will feel so proud of yourself!

It's beatiful! The blues were a good choice. I'd love to see more of these in other colors, maybe peacock or galaxy themed colors.
I love the galaxy colors idea. I'm actually working on a galaxy piece right now using a combination of brush painting and fluid art techniques.
Fantastic work! Just beautiful

Sooooo many layers 😮. Beautiful but probably took a a year to cure!
Lol thank you! But it actually only took 2-3 days to cure because it's resin, not paint, and resin cures MUCH quicker than paint.

Almost a month lol

Beautiful work! Do you do anything to prepare your canvas?
I sprayed the back of the canvas with distilled water to tighten it, but that's it.
I have to do an emerald green piece, but after looking at how beautiful this is, I don't know if I can do it.
Absolutely Gorgeous! What Talent. Do You Sell These Works of Art?!?
Yes I do!
What an amazing piece! I'm curious what size was the canvas?
Thank you. It's 16x16 inches. You can also look in the video description to find that information and more 🙂
Very beautiful fantastic...pls mention d colour is It mica or opaque pigment...or pearl pigment...❤❤
They're mica pigments. If you watch at 6:06 I show exactly what I used.
Is there a supply list somewhere? This is absolutely gorgeous and by far the best tutorial I have seen!! Thank you!

@FluidExpressions thank you for very much!
👍👍❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
What did you do for the border? The green stuff. I must have missed it. Thank you and your work is exceptional
Also please name that resin! 😂
Thank you! The green stuff is Frog Tape, and the brand of resin is Art Resin.
