Great and thorough explanation of the FMA empty hand basics. I am impressed, most people on YT go all out crazy with a million high speed variations of hubud, carrenza, sumbrada, etc.

God oh mighty, thanks for the tips on these entries and flows. I'm trying to train hard on my style of Arnis, I don't know all the terminology in philipino terms, but I'm glad I can do the drills and techniques. Thank you so much, and I hope you stay here on UA-cam. If by any chance, can you post anymore drills on empty hands? unless of course you don't want to, I understand. Keep on training.

this is a really good video. It's rare to see actual instruction in a UA-cam video! Also, does anyone else notice that all Shaw Brothers movie fight scenes are nine-tenths the one-arm hubud series plus lots of yelling?

Greetings from the Philippines! I learned a lot from your teaching. More bullet in my arsenal and still looking for the art that fits my personality.
