+Jim Coleman Generally speaking, unless you specifically choose an AR chambered in another round, the rifle will be 5.56. You can fire a .223 from a rifle chambered in 5.56 but you're not supposed to do the reverse since 5.56 while mechanically the same as .223 the chamber pressures are significantly higher with the 5.56. 223 Wylde is a chamber configuration(NOT a cartridge) designed to be completely compatible between .223 and 5.56. As to other chamberings, basically any and all rimless centerfire chambers can be had, many can even be fired from the same rifle with only a barrel and/or bolt and/or magazine change(or just swapping the upper receiver and mag), there are even adapter kits to fire .22 LR. Lastly, ALL firearms sold pretty much anywhere in the world will have markings telling you what said firearm is chambered for.
First time I've ever watched one of your videos and I'm blown away by how well balanced and thought out this review is. You sir, have a new subscriber.
I can build a rifle for blah blah blah... Nah, my first thought was, "that's one sexy looking rifle." Then I saw the dog on the golf cart and thought "aww, puppy!" Love your vids and glad to see a new one up, finally!
I shot one of LVOA's rifles at the inaugural Texas Firearms Festival, and it was nice. But the one that had me in lust to take it home that day was at the Silencer Shop booth, a metallic, baby puke green Noveske .300BLK SBR with a SDN762 can and an ACOG. Picked it up, shouldered it, let the bolt go home and drilled the paltry 6 rounds in the mag into a fist sized group on the steel target at ~25 yards cold. Pretty damn impressive for the hardware and the skill of the builders, who were shepherding the attendees through the line to get their turn with the fun switch.
Very articulate my friend. I like how you explain and at the same time you use other scenario to help explain the point of the topic. Elementary, very well explained
Kane TheOne mine rolled responsive, unforgiving, and the one where skill use is 10% more damage for 10 seconds :) and my famas has destructive, adept, and uncomplicated
Pretty sure that when they talk about "noise signature", they mean it will dampen the sound of it bumping and banging against things by providing an intermediate barrier.
Marc Garmin true but I think a bungee is a cheap ass fix with a high dollar price tag and a nice sounding Excuse. Not to say the gun isn’t worth it but come on......a mother fuckin bungee cord? For realz
"Tactical bondage rails"... you're a beautiful soul. I put a 17in rail on my 18in barrel build and I couldn't agree more about long rails. They just look good.

I really think you did an excellent job here. I had recently learned of this rifle and your review was the first I looked at. I had also looked at some other information about this rifle. Well done. Thank you
My prediction is coming true of rails getting longer than the barrel is coming true. C Clampers rejoice. Soon the rail will extend 2 inches past the barrel
I couldn't agree more, for 3k I could go buy a scar 16 and imo have a better rifle. I like ARs but I really don't see the justification to spend more than $1500-$1800 for one.
You may very well be the James Earl Jones of gun reviews. You have matured so much over the years, Mr. Noir. Keep up the good work. I always look forward to watching and listening what you have to say.....
That was a super video... Your writing is getting better and better and your narration is developing nicely as well. Very well done indeed. It is clear you put a lot of effort in and your analogy of riding an energy wave to describe recoil was inspired. I really got it.
$3K seems to be the norm nowadays for high end rifles, the only one in that price range that has caught my eye is the Lantac Raven. I would love to hear your take on it.
I work at a gun range with lots of ARs. I got to say I fell in love with the LVOA. It looks badass, its weight feels so good, the brake, the way it shoots. It is absolutely beautiful. It is expensive sure but I am loving people's smiles when they come and shoot it.
Really good video. Anyone who can make me laugh out loud while teaching, is super ok in my books. Best use of language and the way it comes across is second to none. Way better than my butchering of the language for sure. Subscribed
I shot one. Borrowed it for a week. Looks kind of "Mad Max" cool, shoots no better than my $900 BCM, and weighs 3x as much. The LVOA is unnecessarily heavy, especially the front end; you swing the barrel, and the momentum overdrags your next target. The rail does NOT need to extend that far forward by any means. Yes, you get a longer sight base, but how often are you going to need your back up sights? And IF you did need them, it wouldn't be for long-distance shots. The bungee is silly, it feels like something is there that shouldn't be, like when you forget to cut the price tag out of a new shirt. Colion did a great job reviewing this rifle, and I agree with him for the most part, especially the part about feeling like you're SUPPOSED to trash it due to the pretentiousness and high cost. I can only say this: It's a great gun that shoots well, feels (a little too) solid, and looks really cool. This gun was meant for keyboard commandos who can afford the next fad of a safe queen. There's too much on it that just isn't necessary, and you're paying for all that fluff. As CN said right up front... You can have a gun that performs as well or better for 1/3 the cost.
Iv never seen your content before. But your comments, humor and general knowledge of guns is impressive to me. You've earned a new subscriber. I look forward to future videos. This is also coming from someone who doesn't know much about guns in general either.
I love your channel and your reviews are very well done, I've been following you for a long time and you have my respect. With that said, did they gift you this rifle to do the review??
YT advised me this video's for watching a lot of The Disivion video's, got this rifle in je game and tought it wasnt real till now. Looks like a hell of a rifle. And your comment on it is like poetry ;)
Man I can't, I just can't. FN sell's the .308 Scar for that price and I though that was high as high lol. But I got it because it's a seven and a half pound, light recoiling, piston driven, stock folding, 1 MOA .308 battle Rifle. The LOVA is a overweight BCM with a top hat and a hybrid quad rail haha. And we all know the only people that can get away we selling quad rails now a days is DD! Lol But love your videos man! Welcome back!
Lol. SCAR-17's are not MOA rifles. They're a piston battle rifle. Not a DMR. Only good configuration for a SCAR is the 5.56 in a 10.5 SBR. Other than that, SCAR's aren't that great. Used to like them, but the more I've shot them and handled them, the less and less I like them. SCAR 17's like to eat up optics, too. If you want an MOA rifle, and you were willing to spend $3k+ out the door for it, should have gone with an SR-25, LMT MWS, or the new DD5V1. Getting a SCAR to be an MOA DMR type rifle makes no sense. It's a battle rifle, like the HK417.
+Kyle Teeter Considering the 417 was just picked to replace the sr-25 for the m110 sniper system, I'd say that's a shitty comparison. The Scar 17 is a great system. Moa accuracy while still maintaining light weight and portability. It abuses optics, but that's due to those optics not being designed to compensate for the forward recoil of the heavy bolt.
+Stewart Hickey right, because all the optics companies should change just to work on one rifle, instead of the rifle company fixing the rifle. And, who cares if the military just picked up the 417. The military doesn't always pick the highest quality product. they have budgets. They pick for cost as well. The scar isn't a precision rifle. Just inherently how it's made and the set up. You want sub-moa? Get a DI system with a good trigger and barrel: SR-25, Large OBR, LMT MWS (is ok). Piston battle rifle? Not so much.
Any chance you can toss out a list of the parts you used? Also, did you find an rail system and barrel that looks exactly like this? I would really like to get a list for my shopping needs.
Hate to follow the opening up...but Please for the love of god build your own. These guns ooze quality but the parts to make a rifle like this are out there, and they will cost you SO much less. Building an AR is lego blocks easy. So easy my 6 year old niece just built her own, you can too. I have fired these rifles with friends while doing three gun, He is right they are heart and soul sort of good, and for 1,000 even 2,000 dollars I might be swayed. But the price to play is just to high compared to the satisfaction of building something from the floor up that preforms the same way. That being said awesome review, very detailed and I respect your opinions buddy, Subbed and liked for sure keep making good content!
I care, and thank you again. Each time I watch one of your videos I learn something new or at least reminded of a tactic or method I may forget from time to time.
I own two (14.5 and 11.75 SBR) and totally agree with everything you said. True it's heavy and expensive, but I'm definitely not sorry about the purchase. The first time you set your hands on it you wanna run it hard and put it away wet. Great video man, keep em coming
I have a M110 and it shocked the hell out of me the first time I took it shooting. Match ammo was 1 MOA accuracy at 100 yards... but so was Prvi Partizan regular 155gr ammo! Sure the groups were a little bigger, but even the nonmatch ammo was grouping sub moa. Course it's not as accurate as my GAP10 and I haven't any malfunctions in either, but it's pretty badass to own.
They sell the complete upper for just $1300!!! So that means there is $1,400 unaccounted dollars in a regular forged lower! A $50 stock, $180 trigger, & $40 ambi selector switch.... That's absolute bs
Surgical you pay for the labor as well. idk if the complete upper comes with raptor charging handle ($100) or BCG ($100- $200). id like to throw the complete upper on a spikes tactical 'the jack' lower. but for $3K, you can get a scar 17s..
well damn. better off getting the complete upper (still.. $$$..), and doing the rest yourself. except it wont have the LVOA trademark to bring it all together.
+Andrew Bussing please don't support a company like that. If you're going to spend that much on an upper. Get a Daniel Defense, PWS, LMT or something else
Bwahahaha. Crummy BCM, LOLOLOL. THATS LIKE CALLING GEORGE WASHINGTON AN OK PATRIOT. These douchebags and their tacticool douche nozzle can polish Paul's shaft.
Best high quality budget rifles. I know the word budget and BCM don't mesh well, but dependability is paramount. CMMG and Spikes are good as well. I'll stick to BCM. As to the LVOA-c it's way down the list of "fun" rifles I would buy with unlimited funds.
Gas Piston AR 15 with: *Eotech EXPS-3-0 Tan *Silencerco Muzzle brake *Magpul Mbus pro offset *Samson Quad rail handguard *Magpul MOE+ pistol grip Tan *Magpul MOE vert grip Tan *Magpul ACS stock Tan *Magpul MS4 sling Tan *Geissele SD3G trigger *BCM ambi charging handle *TBR brass catcher cost was about the same as this rifle. So yes you can definitely build a better rifle for that price in the AR platform. Especially if you shop online.

Bungee: $2672.05

Gorgeous metaphors, rambunctious descriptions, always to the point. Subscribed.
I don't even like shooting.
Shooting is great, that's a lie.
This guy wears an alpha bridge set
great review man! randomly found your video on the suggested videos, I love the way you filmed. 10 outta 10
Do you wear two set of ear pro because of the fear getting temporary PTSD. I am just JOKING
I wonder if he felt irritable after shooting this rifle
With all the shooting he did, he must have blown his arm out of his shoulder.
+Jim Bob the shells flying past his face disoriented him
I care, and thank you again. Each time I watch one of your videos I learn something new or at least reminded of a tactic or method I may forget from time to time.
I built a rifle that's as good, if not better, than the LVOA from the ground up for half the cost.
Everyone has. Even my dog.
No you haven't.
@@gruenfreiherr8714 you didn’t watch the video
your videos are awesome man! got hooked by the HK Mark 23 video, and now going to buy one on my 21st birthday.
I got one from a field proficiency cache
I own two (14.5 and 11.75 SBR) and totally agree with everything you said. True it's heavy and expensive, but I'm definitely not sorry about the purchase. The first time you set your hands on it you wanna run it hard and put it away wet. Great video man, keep em coming
*More then what most ppl make in a month
Great video, as always. Love your show and videos. Please keep making them.
Well, tune in next week folk for Colion to let us know if a KAC M110 is worth it.
I have an EMC and it's pretty rad especially after I mounted a MAMS up front.
YuanMizzle I still don't think it should cost as much as a small car
+Mark_115 then don't buy one, premium firearms don't appeal to everyone.
Bruh your wordplay is hilarious 😆. Good work on the reviews. Keep it up.
Came here due to The Division .
Amazing job! I found myself captivated by your 'story' of using the gun and forgot I was watching a review.
+Andrew Bussing nope, that's the absolute complete upper, ready to go.
Just goes to show how much of a rip off it is.
well damn. better off getting the complete upper (still.. $$$..), and doing the rest yourself. except it wont have the LVOA trademark to bring it all together.
+Andrew Bussing please don't support a company like that. If you're going to spend that much on an upper. Get a Daniel Defense, PWS, LMT or something else
ive fired an LVOA. i was impressed. i dont have a problem supporting an all american company. pricey.. but it is what it is
that thing looks outstanding. love that foregrip
It's cool, but I'll stick with my crummy ol' BCM.
Bwahahaha. Crummy BCM, LOLOLOL. THATS LIKE CALLING GEORGE WASHINGTON AN OK PATRIOT. These douchebags and their tacticool douche nozzle can polish Paul's shaft.
I love my BCM
Dido
BCM's for the win with a KMR
Best high quality budget rifles. I know the word budget and BCM don't mesh well, but dependability is paramount. CMMG and Spikes are good as well. I'll stick to BCM.
As to the LVOA-c it's way down the list of "fun" rifles I would buy with unlimited funds.
Gas Piston AR 15 with:
*Eotech EXPS-3-0 Tan
*Silencerco Muzzle brake
*Magpul Mbus pro offset
*Samson Quad rail handguard
*Magpul MOE+ pistol grip Tan
*Magpul MOE vert grip Tan
*Magpul ACS stock Tan
*Magpul MS4 sling Tan
*Geissele SD3G trigger
*BCM ambi charging handle
*TBR brass catcher
cost was about the same as this rifle. So yes you can definitely build a better rifle for that price in the AR platform. Especially if you shop online.
