Good video! I just bowled on this pattern last week and used the Rotogrip Gem at 500 grit. Definitely slow and roll-y.

Thanks for this vid and for the lefty-righty comparison. A few questions please:
    1. Pros vs. cons, Purple vs. Black?
    2. If you start with Purple and it starts overhooking at the back end, and given that you are creating your own carrydown, what's your ball change choice at that point?
    3. I have high axis tilt, so the common "solution"
of adding surface, is tricky on short patterns. Add too much surface to slow the ball down and counteract tilt, there's too much "open lane" for the ball to break loose on the back end, even with urethane. Add too little surface, and even a short pattern, played outside, can feel like a long pattern and confuse the bowler. Any suggestions?
    4. For the league bowler, any suggestions on how to play the gutter at the breakpoint? Should you move your feet near the gutter to begin with? Should you move inside and try to send it outside? And, when playing the gutter, what are you looking at all the way downlane? Arrow targets don't help much with downlane targets?
    Thank you

JJ's ball at 7:20 went like 7-8 at the arrows out to 6-7 at the first tracer.

Hi, Truly love your content and Bowling Experience! I, bowl typically on a local house shot. Question? Non brand biased! What ball do you recommend? My ball speed is medium with a high rev rate! Regards Bruce SF Bay Area, CA.

I will never understand how people have so much control with bowling. Every walk back to my seat after my turn is a walk of shame like everyone didn’t just see me throw my 5th ball straight into the gutter.

I take plenty walk of shames while I bowl 😂 I guttered at a national tournament this week. That was a rough walk back

It's part of the game. If every game isn't a 300 then it's all shame.
So why not take the pressure off and just focus on getting 10 within 2 shots? 9 count is 2nd best. Not bowling for thousands of dollars weekly so I can walk back and just think of the next adjustment.

Can you give an example of a Urethane bowling ball pin placement for a tweener rev rate bowler for cheetah. Maybe 15-16mph speed.

Bowling on this next week. I don't have a urethane, but I do have a new Conspiracy drilled pin up. The other balls I was considering taking are the Motiv Black Venom and putting surface on it (500 or 1000?), and putting a similar amount of surface on my IQ Ruby and/or Xponent. Think any of those will be playable, or is it better to just invest in a urethane to save myself the headache?

My arsenal: Hyper Venom, Crimson Jackal, Primal Shock.
Low rev, mid speed one hander.
So which of my balls should I use on a pattern like this? The Primal?
