Hi, I kind of wanted to share some of the things I have started doing to reach my goal of an Ivy League school. I just turned 13 years old, I come from a Mexican family and I really want to be the first in my family to graduate college. I’m currently in 7th grade. I have a 4.0 GPA. I’m in the top 90% in all of the state tests. I have also done all of 7th,8th,and 9th grade math. I’m also nearly done with all of algebra 1. I have been in different clubs such as leadership, student council, migrant student club, lgbt club etc..I have also attended many field trips to different colleges and universities in California. I’m looking forward to taking a lot of honors and AP classes in high school to try to get into an Ivy League School. My dream is to graduate with a business degree to turn into a business manager. I don't think you can take both as you are entering highschool. My school has a set amount of requirements you need to meet in order to graduate and be accepted into a CSU/UC (I live in California). At my school, we take 2 years of science but 3 is recommended. So your first year in high school you take one year of science that is offered for freshman :) in general take classes that are offered at your grade level. The rest are electives. You can always take more than the required which is actually good and talk to your hs counselor about requirements to graduate. Good luck!!
It depends on your school district. In my school district, 9th grade we are required to take the basic core classes (math English science and social studies) then P.E. Is required, Fine Arts is required and 2 years of foreign language required but I finished those in intermediate

I have a question. I'm in 9th grade taking Geometry online and I want to drop out. If I do it will put a F in my transcript. Could this affect my possibility to get into a good university. Thank you for your time
Hey Nicolas! I would definitely first check with your guidance counselor to see if dropping would mean that you get an F. If so, see if you can work something else out. Otherwise, consider exactly why you want to drop the class and if it's worth the F. Failing a class is not the end of the world, but you'd definitely have to explain that grade on your application.

it'll be up soon!
Yeehaw🤠🤠
Hi!! I will be a sophomore next year and I was thinking of AP World, AP Seminar, and AP Psychology. I also do a sport and karate in which I would be busy from 3-5 then again from 6-7. Is this too much for me? I currently take an AP class now and I could definitely do two, but idk about three?
I finally met someone. I have had this question for months. I am take Ap bio, Ap world history, Ap psychology, pre calc dual credit, chemistry dual credit, and English 2 honors. Please I beg you, tell me how your classes went. I need to know before my next school year starts.
What books/ online study you recommend for AP USHISTORY?
HELLO !! this video is 3 years ago so idk if you'll reply..😭😭 but first ty for this video im like really nervous cause everyone around me is really ahead 💀
im a sophomore rn, im gonna be a junior next year. im not taking any aps freshman or sophomore year and im deciding to take 5 ap junior and 5 senior, so a total of 10. and i have no extracurricular activities or awards..😅 i have no clue where to start, i joined a few clubs but i have no idea how it works 🤯🤯.. ill be thankful if ull give me some advice that u remember 🙏🙏😭
You should’ve balanced out your ap classes throughout the years, you’re mistake was your 5 senior year, college will not be looking at senior classes and ap scores bc you apply your first semester of senior year, however take honors, and online classes if you can, try to look into extracurricular activities outside of school for awards, good luck!
Is this a good schedule for freshman? Ap world history, Ap Lang, Ap seminar, pre-Ap Chinese, Algebra 2, Physics.
i thought u could only take one ap?
Are u alive
jesus christ...💀💀
How did it go?😮
can people tell me their experiences wiht ap physics 1 as i plan on doing it senior year and wanna know more
and can someone tell me if it's worth taking ap lit senior if im planning on taking ap lang junior
I’m taking AP physics I next year I heard a lot of bad things about it lmfao is it that bad
Yes. It’s everything you fear and worse 😭
It wasn't my favorite, but you could like it! depends on what your strengths are and how much effort you're willing to put into the class. good luck!!
Bro I took French 1 in 8th grade and got a B+ is it gonna ruin my chances I legit got a 89.5 😡
ohh that hurts
I believe college only look at your HIGH School grades not your middle school, so don’t worry too much about it. :)
if you get a b freshmen year in one - 2 classes is the chances over
Holy shoot, you took physics c without calculus?????? Wow
3:14 I couldn’t disagree with you more. I got straight As in this class effortlessly. It’s just boring proofs, sohcahtoa, simplifying radicals, and I was able to get the work dome long before the teacher expected me to.
did you do any extracurriculars?
yep! I have a video on that :)
How did you take 5 AP Classes😭
in retrospect, that is also a question I'd like the answer to
took all except science research bruh
theres no way you got into ivy BRuh
Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior ✝️❤️
Your Patel.
