Thank you Carey for giving us these conversations. I look forward to each one and learn so much. You make these world class leaders and thinkers available to us in a way that we would never have otherwise. Priceless!

virtual connections are important, but at 64 they are not fully capable of replacing face to face.

I first listened to this interview in a podcast. At one point, I had a feeling Dr. Henry Cloud might speak under a slight influence because of his occasionally slurred speech patterns. I just came across the video version of the same interview. Dr. Cloud had bloodshot eyes and very...tanned! Oh, I read his books, and I respect him greatly. But he didn't make a good "first" impression here. Nevertheless, it was an enjoyable session.

I don’t know why you’d make this your analysis. We all speak differently with different idioms and light varies with computer settings and rooms. Let’s try to give each other the benefit of the doubt. Henry was super sharp in his insights and I really appreciated his counsel.

@@CNNieuwhof Thank you, Carey. I needed to hear this. I just downloaded more of Dr. Cloud's books. Yes, I agree. he was sharp in the interview. It was my first time listening to him, therefore, I do not have a way to compare this podcast to the other times when he spoke. Apologies if I offended you or anyone.

@@VictoryLifeFellowship I really appreciate your reply and the dialogue. It's funny but after spending hours with Dr. Cloud it never occurred to me that he was anything but sharp. I just didn't understand why you felt compelled to make a public statement about it. Wasn't sure how it was helpful to anyone.

@@CareyNieuwhof Perhaps I should have written privately to you and your organization. To be honest, I was stumbled by it, esp. Dr. Henry Cloud is such a high profile person. I felt I made my point already. You may remove my comments. I have no ill intentions. Just want to be a supportive and honest viewer and listener. Yes, I am a regular!

@@VictoryLifeFellowship Thanks so much! I think you may be right...a private message or just sleeping on it can help. But I'm going to leave this up. It's a model for how two people who don't know each other can dialogue respectfully online. A rare thing. Thanks so much and God bless you.

You don't rise to the challenge, you fall to the level of your training. Interesting...
