But I have a pair of exellent headphones, that is perhaps why this sound is so good . Anyway this op 18 sounds on UA-cam much better than on my Hifi, so I am happy. And I can see the participants in motion. Another benfit. Beethovens String Quartets are all superior.
Wunderschöne und gut phrasierte Aufführung dieses perfekt komponierten Streichquartetts in verschiedenen Tempi mit seidigen Tönen beider Violinen, mildem Ton der Bratsche und tiefem Ton des Violoncellos. Der zweite Satz klingt besonders schön und echt nuanciert. Die intime und perfekt entsprechende Miteinanderwirkung zwischen den vier Virtuosen ist echt ergreifend. Alles ist wunderbar!
Beethoven wäre außer sich vor Glück und Stolz, könnte er lesen, dass Sie sein Streichquartett tatsächlich als "perfekt komponiert" klassifiziert haben.
The smaller viola (than today's average size) is also a wonderful choice. The inner voices make a lithe, almost unified pair (29:05) ; altogether the three upper voices + the low cello register make clear and convincing sonorities that serve Beethoven's score well, to my ear.
This comfort is irreplaceable and incomparable
