At 5:32, it appears ACRO was the mode it entered after auto-launch completed. Is that the stabilized mode you set? Thanks. ( You mentioned angle mode but the screen showed ACRO).
Not sure if I just switched modes fairly quickly after the launch finished there but I normally set post launch mode to 'Angle' so that I can trust it will maintain altitude.
Yeah the ZCon's not the easiest to grab hold of and because of that it feels super heavy! Autolaunch makes it an easy job though now. I guess the timeout is just personal choice, i just felt 5 seconds was a bit too short. Cheers
That's a useful little explanation of autolaunch and basic settings there, cheers! I'm normally a Vector man, but I have bought a F705 a couple of months ago to try in a mini Talon. Maybe now's the time!

Best thing i ever put on my Ar900...Activate launch mode, set throttle just over half, slight wiggle to get motor going, then throw...what more could you want.

@@AdamGdoesFPV Yeah, I bought a Matek 765 for my Skyhunter, so I'm glad you recommend them. I'll be sure to revisit this review once I'm done with the rest of the build.
Yes. Using iNav you shouldn't use the trim adjustment on your transmitter like you would traditionally. You use Autotrim in flight for it to set the servo centre position. If you adjust the trim it could quite possibly prevent you from arming or cancel autolaunch as it will think you are moving your stick.

Works on my mini Drak too. Just haven’t recorded a video of it 😊
well I put the same serrings on my AR900 and Nano Drak Wish me Luck
Hi, I have the same settings on a tbs but I don't get the autolaunch display in my goggles only Hor or stab ??? I am using mates 405 v4. any ideas. Cheers wayne
Hi Wayne. Autolaunch text appears on the OSD item ‘System Message’. Check you have that configured on your osd and it’s not overlapping with other items.
@@AdamGdoesFPV Thanks Adam, I made a rooky mistake , i reflashed the board and this setting reset and i missed it lol. Thanks
What is stabilize mode on the iNav configuration
I use 'Angle'
Does your diff suitable for dart 250g?
I can't see why my launch settings wouldn't work on a Dart250
Interesting!
Thanks for watching :)
Hi, I can't set nav_fw_ idle_ thr to 0, it says min is 1000. Does 1000 equal 0?
Yeah that wasn’t explained well by me. 1000 is 0 in iNav terms 👍🏻
hello sir..how to find sound pack for inav mode?
open-txu.org/amber-sound-pack/
Thanks!
You're welcome!
any recommendation for sonic modell pro 1000
Honestly, most normal models launch well on stock settings. Maybe add some idle throttle to help with the initial throw. Good luck
@@AdamGdoesFPV i have done all that and idle or not it fucking sucks its too big of a model too be thrown . a quick bump start and throw works every time im done listening to people that shit cost me more then 6 props and 1 arwing pro. shake and over head throw works every time and now fucking up trim or you plane with do a back flip in auto launch!!
@@AdamGdoesFPV my sonic modell 600 work great with the shake and throw always has with stock settings too ... if it works dont change it! i have and it was not worth it!
Is airspeed sensor necessary for inav auto launch
No not at all. It does absolutely nothing other than show as a data item on your OSD.
@@AdamGdoesFPV so if i dont have airspeed it will cause no problem rather than giving just speed data
And how does it know that it has been thrown in the air for auto launch
@@aesatishchaudhary5933 no because iNav doesn’t use it in any way at all. All it does is gives the pilot info. I have no airspeed 6 out of my current 7 iNav planes
@@aesatishchaudhary5933 Accelerometer. Nothing to do with airspeed
i shake and throw i change my settings im going to try and do 0 motor delay and motor idle up and a arm timer so i can throw out in front of me..... most of the time i throw over head and i shake then throw and it works just not and pretty
Much better to use idle instead of the shake method. You can even add idle delay too if you like, so when you move the throttle stick up to start launch, it can wait a number of seconds before the motors actually start the idle spin
@@AdamGdoesFPV i like the idle delay but like i said i did all this and the plane dose not like it when i throw and have it start! It has to be bumped and thrown at the same time and it works every time stock settings only 1600 for launch throttle
When I get a computer again ☕ Is on me !
Cheers, much appreciated
Can I use auto start without gps?
@@NRG1991 I think you probably can. Not tried it so can’t guarantee it
@@AdamGdoesFPVit works 😅 i tried
wow. no torque roll on launch. I need to have idle throttle quite high for my models not to spiral into the ground right away on auto launch
Have you tried launching without throttling you before the throw?
@@AdamGdoesFPV yeah, but it is quite heavy. maybe I should try it again now that it is trimmed out
Nice review!
And as allways, very saturated and bright video!
Thanks :D Colours in Ireland for you, I even turn down the saturation on the FPV cam from default! Cheers
👍👀🇭🇷

Inav auto Launch aka how to let dumb autopilot kill your plane 9 out of 10 times 🤣🤣
I’ve used auto launch on 15+ models hundreds of times. 100% success rate 👌🏻 if it’s killing your planes 9 times out of 10 you’re doing something very wrong.
