I love how you are always taking care of your wife. Thank you for being a great representation for those of us who believe that chivalry is not dead! Keep it up!!!
This is a Great Hike but needs to be done on a weekday if possible to avoid the crowds and you can drive back all the way from Dry Creek Rd but where the parking lot is there are huge rocks that only High Clearance vehicles can access.
Thank you both for taking me to Devil's Bridge as I am handicapped and will never be able to hike this, so I am living thru your eyes! It was so beautiful.
As a ex backpacker, runner and all around outdoors person; as a 74 year old RVer I am envious of your hikes. Now that my hiking days are over due to a serious foot/ankle problem I really enjoy your videos of hiking opportunities. ALL of your videos are great! Now I am limited to exploring what I can on my e-bike. Still moving forward thanks to video encouragement from you guys. Stay safe and have fun. BTW, I love the shirts!
It's not the real hikers that leave the trash, it's the boom box hikers that leave the trash, the ones that don't think of anyone other than themselves
I loved this destination. I hiked the dirt road and the trail you took was way better. Your tips are totally on point too! Be courteous! Those speakers are the worst and make me want to do bad things. We had a long line for pics at the bridge but found a good spot and just skippped going out on the bridge itself. Love the shirts and the message!
We always carry gloves and an extra bag to pick up after those who seem not to care about our world. We use liquified too! We we traded our TT for our class C a few months ago, Matt & Andrea were there and we got pictures with them! So cool!
Beautiful photography and videos. Sedona is absolutely amazing and we really enjoyed our week there this spring as well. You are absolutely correct in saying pack in/ pack out leave no trace and keep music to no or low. We love hiking because it brings us closer to nature and inner peace. Funny we were at the devil’s bridge same time you were and made the same decision to enjoy the view but not wait in line to stand on it. Keep up the great work and hope we meet up again in the future.
Tara!! 🎉❤ you are awesome! Congratulations on doing Devil’s Bridge! Chad: ‘no dogs on the trail, even yours.’ Yes! 🙌🏻 Great episode, thanks for sharing.
Ah yeaaaahhh. Not going on that trail at 69 years old with all those people.. many who seem to have never been in public. Call me a curmudgeon if you must. Love your videos. Love your shirts! I feel the same way! I am going to get one!
Great video! We were in Sedona this yr during the same timeframe that was around spring break...wow!!! As beautiful as the area is, never again during March! The crowds and disrespectful people (who suck! Lol) was really off-putting. On the plus side, the many hikes including Devils Bridge were awesome, and the scenery was second to none! Coincidently we were also fairly impressed with a spur of the moment meal at the Golden Goose!😂
Beautiful. Do it while you can. Hiking is a thing of the past with Great Grandma and me. But we are still RV'ing and still loving it. I really wish you guys would wear gloves on these treks. Lucille is one beautiful bike.
Great video! My wife and I camp host at Brancked Oak lake in SE Nebraska every year and we find some of the most disgusting stuff in camp sites especially the fire pits. Anywhere from completely full of trash, cans, bottles to human feces and this is on a weekly basis. The park has the peoples info from the envelope when they pay for the site or from when they reserved the site and I think they should send a fine. People might learn from this and stop do it instead of being scumbags. Thank you for the effort.
Great video!! We were there May '23 and the same boom box guy must have been on the trail with us that you ran into. How annoying LOL! It's a beautiful area and we plan a revisit. It's a beautiful hike!
Chad, you were talking about wind!! The last time we were out there I was on my Electra Glide riding sideways!! A tumbleweed hit my front tire! Talk about being terrified!! Tank slapper!😂😂Be CAREFUL!!
Holy moly with the cameras hanging off your bodies. Thanks so much for all your wonderful photos and clips of where you hike. The hiking etiquette tips were very interesting. I totally agree with keep the volume down. It seemed a bit crowded at the top. Wow. My hiking days are over, bad knees but it is cool watching you too.
Two things came to mind watching this... 1. If I had taken video of my wife's "behind" while hiking, she would have made me delete it from my phone and delete it from my deleted folder, then delete the deleted folder. I just kept thinking, "Oh, Chad is toast." 😀 Pretty sure if it ended up on UA-cam, we'd be in counseling. 2. The place where I most discovered that the location is not like the photos is Delicate Arch in Arches National Park. There must have been 1,000 people there when my son and I hiked there last year. I was looking forward to taking "Instagram worthy" photos, but it was a mad house! Definitely not worth waiting in a line of a hundred people to get the "standing under the arch" photo.
OCD on black buggies 😅😅 I'm the same when using buggies on the Harley to hold down extra bags on the tour pack. Even though not in this video, hope you got some Lucille time out there on those senic roads.
The Sedona area is beautiful. Fun fact: the Sedona McDonalds is the only one that doesn't have golden arches. Theirs are turquoise blue. Enjoy Mesa, there are some beautiful hikes in the Superstitions. The Wave Cave was our favorite
No cancellations? Wow. Things always happen and come up that are out of our control. We did this same hike. I went back down the same way, on my bottom! We did a video on the hike too! It was beautiful, but I am afraid of heights, so it was a huge overcoming moment for me to walk out on that bridge and get a photo of us on it. Airstream sighting in your campground!- Michelle

PS Thanks for the info about Liquified toilet treatment. We are in need of this soon and I was wondering about a good one. On our last trip I could smell the bathroom. My mom and I have a good sense of smell.
12:55 - Years before the social picture popularity; do not recall seeing this many folks on one trail. Saw on another YT channel; hiking steep climbs that had chains anchored into rock cliff edges. Many folks on that trail also; (heard that a reservation / permit / pass was required, in-order to be on that trail). Pretty wild / thrilling looking trail, sort-of similar to this one you both climbed here).
Another question. I’ve been wondering about getting a Starlink Mini to keep in the car we go sight seeing with. Seems it would be handy to have internet access pretty much everywhere. Any thoughts on doing that?
@@ChangingLanes Starlink is sooooo good. So tempting to have it in the sight seeing car for state and national parks when there is nothing else. Our iPhones have satellite sos but Starlink would be even more better in those locations. 👍🏻

You can drive the Dry Creek Road to Devil's Bridge, BUT you must have a high clearance vehicle and 4x4. There is a section where you may slide on the frame rails as you climb/descend an area of rock staircase. Made that trip up and down the road numerous times and have seen cars stuck, damaged, etc. And a tow out (if you can get one) can easily run over $700. You can set up a ride with one of the local jeep tours. And one of the best times to be up at the Bridge is when a helicopter tour slowly rises from the valley to give their clients a view of the bridge. IF you want to get up their without the crowd, go in April to mid May and miss the tourist mobs.
