- So my First day Fly Fishing For trout on New Zealands south island was a challenging one.
A recent Rain event had Flooded most rivers but with some perseverance and driving a few 100 kms i found the Fish i was looking for!

DUDE i literally caught that same rainbow in that same run last season. Huge kype and same white triangle on the back fin, same coloring..looking at my video now. Way too cool. We met on this stream last year (Stefan from CO). He went on a pretty insane run when I caught him too haha.
