Fun fact about that Butters episode: In a 2011 interview, South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone stated that they regretted how Gary Condit and the Ramseys were portrayed in the episode after it was proven they didn't actually kill Chandra Levy (Gary Condit) and JonBenet Ramsey (John and Patricia Ramsey)

Pretty sure the reason why Eric is anti- semetic is because he hates Kyle and Kyle is a jew. You will notice if you watch enough South Park that there is nothing Eric loves more than making Kyle upset.
There's two reasons why Eric hates Kyle: 1) Eric is jealous because Kyle has everything Eric wants (a father, loving friends, a slim body, and general approval) and 2) Eric sees Kyle as a self-righteous hypocrite. Kyle is often propped up as the voice of reason and he does see himself as morally superior to everyone else in South Park. However, Kyle is not above saying and doing mean things for what he believes in (a trait he inherited from his birch of a mom). The main difference is that Kyle isn't a sociopath like Eric and generally understands the difference between right and wrong.

The conversion therapy episode is one of my favorites. It’s so hilarious and so depressing.
To really get the gravity of Butter’s Very Own Episode as the season 5 finale, you have to watch Kenny Dies the episode preceding it, because they were truly killing off Kenny as a main character and replacing him with Butters. Season 6 saw the debut of Professor Chaos and a lot of development for Butters. Wild ride at the time, it was unprecedented in South Park for Kenny to _literally_ be killed off! Anyway watch Kenny Dies, aside from being historically important it’s also hilarious, Cartman’s scheme is utterly unhinged.
