The reason why kyles speech was completely censored near the end was actually really dark, the full speech was originally uncensored until it reached Comedy Central and they received threats from a muslim terrorist organisation and they threatened to assassinate Matt and Trey over the showing of Muhammad and the overall episode in general, this made Comedy Central permanently censor Kyle’s speech as it was indirectly roasting the terrorists, saying that the only way people get to listen is through threats. If they had uncensored it, the show’s creators would have been killed. This is only time South Park has lost
As a Muslim I still find it hilarious, when I was kid and when they showed prophet Mohammed (S.A.W)( I think they did) my sister quickly switched the channel cuz she thought we were in trouble, now It’s stupid when a Muslim goes apeshit over an image of him like someone just fucked their mom, if anyone is curious the reason why Mohammed didn’t want anyone to show his image is cuz when an artist asked him if he could draw him, he said no cuz he did want to people to start worshipping his image instead of God, now Muslims are treating his image as some holy deity basically doing the opposite of what he wanted
As a muslim i am happy what they did tbh. They could have made him a stereotypical muslim. But they actually desinged it nice. Yeah i don't agree with them drawing him. But come on it could have been worse
Also, it's a bit ironic that many muslims are weirdly okay when it's the other prophets face that shows up, like moses and jesus. I remember having a book about the story of prophets which all the other 24 prophets have their face drawn but Muhammad is just his name floating around. Though, some muslim country did banned The Prince of Egypt for the same reason why we are not supposed to see a drawing of Muhammad face, except it's moses.

@@leonrussell9607 nope, that's what the extremeists, the media and the few muslims online have made you think, in reality we don't care, if we really did care about little things like this, islam would have fallen a long time ago, as a religion and as a people. In islam, were told to leave things if we cannot do anything about them, and just know there wrong, that's why most the time, it's either one of two, a muslim having a temper tantrum at these episodes which you see with your own two eyes in a comment section and the other, you not actually seeing the majority that didn't even leave a comment, react or give a shit, even tho they saw it.
The message that was censored was basically "you can get what you want and stop people from criticizing you if you threaten them with violence and terrorism." which is bringing the episode's themes full circle about Muslims threatening Matt, Trey, and South Park with bomb threats for showing Muhammed.
The David Blaine episode was funny, but nothing out of the ordinary. Later episodes like Bloody Mary, the Scientology one and the one with family guy had some backlash quickly after they came out, but Super Friends came and went pretty quietly. Coincidentally, several months later, US got hit with 9/11, and suddenly Islam was put under a microscope, and the rhetoric of The West vs. Islam became so strong that images of Muhammad recieved backlash (South Park, Charlie Hebdo)
So this episode was massive fan service. It tied in a bunch of old episodes together. Mecha-Streissand being one of them. The mitch conner thing was from an episode where Cartman impersonates JayLo and the real JayLo gets mad. It's pretty crazy.
I don’t see anyone talking about it, so the reason Super Best Friends is banned was due to 200 and 201. When Comedy Central was threatening to pull the episodes initially, Matt and Trey were like, “Wtf, we portrayed him in Super Best Friends,” which yes, DOES depict the prophet Muhammad, who looks exactly like the way every other Arabic person is portrayed in the show. So CC turned around and yanked Super Best Friends off the air, too.
Fun fact: uncensored muhammad appears in a few south park episodes, but because there's no attention drawn to him, nobody freaks out. He has background and non-speaking roles in these episodes.
0:43 Actually it's funny you say that. David Blaine actually did see the episode when it aired, and called up Matt and Trey afterwards. Je said he loved the episode, but called to ask them "Why am I saying 'twa' in the episode." And Matt and Trey dodn't have an answer. Theu just did it... because. I swear, sometimes the BTS stuff for South Park is funnier than OTS stuff.

How is it sad, they didn't scandalise a religions rules.
@@Midget32 they got death threat for makeing a joke. The whole thing is that either everything is able to be made fun of or nothings ok. If this was bad enough to be censored then by that logic any jabs at a religion should be censored
@@icemarvel0791 it's ok to make fun of the religion, it's another thing when u start doing something that's just a straight up mockery & attack against a religion that doesn't serve any purpose but to say fuck u
For anyone who's curious, Tom Cruise ends up on the moon unalived along with the whale from one of the earlier episodes at the end. Idk why they didn't show it.
At this point you all should just watch the whole series start to finish, not all the episodes are amazing but it would be a fun ride.
The south park videos are goated. Keep up the good work
Kor & Eden arguing over SpongeBob terminology gave me a good laugh.
the barabra streisand mech is a callback to the early season in which they mocked bararbra by making he a kaiju kinda like mechagodzilla
These episodes were only banned because a group of Muslims couldn't take a lighthearted joke. Mohammad wasn't even being made fun of. I'm a Christian and the episodes with Jesus are some of my favorites.
Well, Muslims are known to have short fuses
@@leonrussell9607 nope, that's what the extremeists, the media and the few muslims
online have made you think, in reality we don't care, if we really did care about little things like this, islam would have fallen a long time ago, as a religion and as a people.
@@leonrussell9607 true
That was Pakistani, they are known to be more extreme than other Muslim races
The message that was censored was basically "you can get what you want and stop people from criticizing you if you threaten them with violence and terrorism." which is bringing the episode's themes full circle about Muslims threatening Matt, Trey, and South Park with bomb threats for showing Muhammed.
Bro really became mechagodzilla💀
I Can't Believe They Missed Pip's Death.
It would be pretty cool if you guys watched the episode "Woodland Critter Christmas" it has a great twist
I can’t believe a spilling the milk episode has actually made me worry about your safety lmao
"Ooooh! That's the joke of the episode, there you go." How can someone so slow be such a know it all with everything? loool
wish they had seen more episodes before watching these ones, none of the references or callbacks make sense to them
This episode makes a lot more sense if you watch the episodes before it. It's basically entirely references lol. That's why nothing makes sense
South Park truly is one of the TV shows of our time.
As someone who has sadly watched most south park episodes, i wish i didnt get even half the refeences.
The barbara streissand being a mecha it is an early episode, thats why its important to follow a series fron the start
8:12 even worse, "Stanley's Cup" made fun of his death too, and that episode came out a month after he died
Scott tenorman on that jerome valeska arc.
Yes, the people at Waco all committed suicide. That's the FBI-approved version of events.
As an Australian I’m extremely offended by how South Park depicted out lord and saviour Steve Irwin, truly disgusting >:(
"Pretend to be black" *puts Justin Trudeau*
bro i'm legit dying as a fellow Canadian
Banning porn not book. Also banned from schools not from society.
You guys should go over The Venture Brothers. It feels right up your alley and is actually quite well written and funny.
3:50 wrong cult
Actually, Muhammad was censored bc Matt and Trey were threatened to censor it or they would be killed
8:34 You guys have to watch "Fat Butt and Pancake Head" from season 7 to understand that lore
Broadway Bro Down S15 Ep11 is one of the later ones I still like. Could be fun.
Not Krishna in the thumbnail tf 💀💀💀I was not expecting that one-
I don’t see anyone talking about it, so the reason Super Best Friends is banned was due to 200 and 201.
Buddha doing coke in that episode actually got South Park completely banned in Sri Lanka
4:05 I mean he is a child they are famous for their ability to be indoctrinated into religion by the adults around them
Fun fact: uncensored muhammad appears in a few south park episodes, but because there's no attention drawn to him, nobody freaks out. He has background and non-speaking roles in these episodes.
1:45 omg it’s the Book of Mormon hit musical
0:43 Actually it's funny you say that.
David Blaine actually did see the episode when it aired, and called up Matt and Trey afterwards. Je said he loved the episode, but called to ask them "Why am I saying 'twa' in the episode."
And Matt and Trey dodn't have an answer. Theu just did it... because.
I swear, sometimes the BTS stuff for South Park is funnier than OTS stuff.
Cartoon Wars would be pretty fuckin funny to watch
im surprised you didn't look for the uncencered version of the speech at the end
That wasn't Jennifer Lopez in Vietnam. That was Mitch Conner.
200 & 201 had a lot of references to South Park lore. You need to watch other episodes before, to get the context.
Kyles unbleeped message: threats of violence are effective.
This episode is full of references you do not get
When you thought the Scott Tenorman story couldn't get a bigger twist, you end up with it somehow getting even crazier.
This episode was basically just fan service and it's funny watching people who haven't watched much South Park get more and more confused.
16:40 next reaction: redo of healer
My RE teacher used to show us these episodes in classes
the final spech is uncensord on youtube the blep was a comedy central thing matt and trey were really pissed about it the teory is they uploaded the uncersod version themself
Ngl I just love South Park and also spilling the milk so when they watch it it is so good imo
The Mecha Streisand was such a cool reveal
6:01 is literally the season finale of Chainsaw Man
"That's what we were waiting for" - Moist Critical
to this very day, the return of scott tenorman during SUPER BEST FRIENDS makes my jaw drop
Kyles speech:
That’s because there is no goo, Mr. Cruise. You see, I learned something today. Throughout this whole ordeal, we’ve all wanted to show things that we weren’t allowed to show, but it wasn’t because of some magic goo. It was because of the magical power of threatening people with violence. That’s obviously the only true power. If there’s anything we’ve all learned, it’s that terrorizing people works.
