I mean, this is the “correct“ way to do this, however, I just cut a flap in my carpet under the second row seat and used an angle grinder to cut a flap door right over top of it. Took about three minutes total to have access to the fuel pump to change it out.
Yes ramps are safer but only WHEN they are both facing the same direction (how exactly did he get the truck on like that anyway???) and BOTH wheels are actually FULLY ON the ramps. Lucky this didn't turn into a horror film in a hurry! Perfect example of how not to use ramps. Did have some useful information though. One more thing...leave the key forwards a few seconds each time to give the pump time to pump.
Broke Both connections that go to the Hard gas lines but found them both with a 90 degree bend and they are 2 different sizes i just drilled out the plastic bits from the plastic gas line and put in the new fitting and JB welded reinforced it for extra extra and i also broke the nipple from the plastic line that goes into the charcoal canister and piloted a hole big enough to fit the broken nipple piece and JB welded that in there too it fit snug the step drilling method helped in finding the exact hole diameter to fin the broken piece in so yeah that's how i fixed 3 broken hose fittings don't use brute force when dropping the gas tank i did because i did it by myself and didn't watch a video but my i always fix what i brake buying a new gas tank boy u crazy hahah there's always a solution to everything. fixed it all for like 25 bucks 2 fittings and a pack or jb weld 2-1 oz tubes call it done.
Did you even check your driver side Tire on the ramp it was already on the downward slope it was not done correctly very dangerous you going to squash your ass up underneath
Watched dozens of these pump change outs and urs is by far the cleanest tank and rust free clamp ring, man that must be nice to be where u are

Very useful and more power with you. However, for heaven's sake, PLEASE CUT OFF that annoying music. Really struggled to hear you here.
Thanks for making the video very easy and understandable. you did skip a few points while doing it but the visual was very good.

How many miles does your Yukon have on it. This will be my second time replacing the fuel pump, the pump is fine, however the float is not working.
Seeing that rear tire mid way down the ramp gave me severe anxiety lmaooo.
Great video! This is the issue I'm having crank no start.
Broke Both connections that go to the Hard gas lines but found them both
with a 90 degree bend and they are 2 different sizes i just drilled out
the plastic bits from the plastic gas line and put in the new fitting
and JB welded reinforced it for extra extra and i also broke the nipple
from the plastic line that goes into the charcoal canister and piloted a
hole big enough to fit the broken nipple piece and JB welded that in
there too it fit snug the step drilling method helped in finding the
exact hole diameter to fin the broken piece in so yeah that's how i
fixed 3 broken hose fittings don't use brute force when dropping the gas
tank i did because i did it by myself and didn't watch a video but my i
always fix what i brake buying a new gas tank boy u crazy hahah there's

Nice video man, thanks for taking the time!
what does the fastener on the fuel tank straps look like? do you happen to know a part number?
Hey if you have to show someone how to disconnect the battery before removing the fuel tank maybe they shouldn't be doing the job ?
How do you drain the tank?
Thanks for the video, only thing was I would prefer jacks over ramps..better peace of mind.
Could've really done without the music lol
Lol yeah otherwise great video
.....handy....just in case....and a first Aid Kit....
But what size are the gas tank strap bolt size
how did you wire it up
Is airtex good fuel pump ?
Noooo!
then you get to figure out why the check engine light keeps coming back on. happy searching.
Why wont my new fuel pump sit flush
It's not easy as shown i did it it was terrible
I have done a couple of these and you sir are correct
It's a complete pain in the ass
Where are you?
But... The video is 7:41 seconds....... Not 5:00
You for got to pump all the gas out of the gas tank....
Flat head screwdriver AKA butter knife lol
many points skipped (the most important ones) and difficult!!!!
Did you even check your driver side Tire on the ramp it was already on the downward slope it was not done correctly very dangerous you going to squash your ass up underneath
👀
You failed to follow safety rules....you should of had a fire exstingusher....
Has to be the most annoying background music ever. Quit watching because of it!
