It's twin-turbo V6 is BLOWING UP ! Crankshaft Main Bearing Failure! Just like the 2022 on up Tundra. Even happening to twin-turbo V6 equipped Lexuses in Japan and Saudi Arabia.
It’s from contaminates getting into the engine from factory. Stop acting like the engine is the problem. Any engine with metal particles in it would fail
@@Whoop-di-scoop The V35A-FTS engine has been in production for 7 consecutive years and the crankshaft main bearings of even the latest engines have been failing. So Toyota has not and cannot assure the bearings of any V35A-FTS engine - including the ones currently installed in the $90,000 2024 Lexus GX550, LX600, Tundras and Sequoia's - will be durable. It's a catastrophe.
I sold the Jeep Summit Reserve bc of its crazy issues. I can’t handle another new car flop. I’m so far in the order count that I hope issues are fixed before my 550 luxury plus gets made 😮
When a car is this reliable, who needs to worry about engine failures? Oh yeah, Toyota just announces a recall and a stop sell on the Tundra. This GX uses the same engine.
i have a question for you, i have a 2nd generation lexus is350 (2006-2012) and i want to install the 3rd generation lexus engine is350,(2014-2020) would this work
Cant help but notice the location looks familiar, then saw sofyan from redline in the background. 😂

@@Whoop-di-scoop are you sure about that?
hopefully not junk like the tundra v6 the look is cool kinda like a G wagon style
It has smaller turbos and less power so I have a little more faith in this engine
Does NOT look like a GWagon in person at all (look like cartooness)

I love the look of this GX. Good review, Marty.
Have they figured out the engine failures on the main bearing?

@@husshardan3511 there is no recall on the GX. Their version of the motor is built in Japan, where there were no shavings getting into the bearings.
Does it have the same engine as the tandra ?
It does :(
ITS NOT A LEXUS, ITS A TOYOTA WITH A LEXUS BADGE! LOOK AT THE INTERIOR
Dweeb. Duh! Just like infiniti is to nissan, chevy to cadillac, and so on. Dweeebb
Yeah the interior is bland for an 80k car
Can’t wait to trade my 2021 gx

Drove it, love it! ❤
How was the Mark Levinson stereo?
Why isn’t this more of a hot topic! The sound system is a deal breaker 😮
I saw one on the road. Gorgeous vehicle. If you have money to burn then get it
only when I win the lottery.
Good review 👍 IMO Don't like the boxy look.
100k for a gas guzzler unproven twin turbo v6 with only 345 hp. For people that have money to waste.
Sounds like you are hurt hurt…….has Bubba been slammin ya hole but not payin his freight? 😂. Sad to be you Reuben 🤣🤣🤣
