That new system you got going is increasing production way to go Derek the wire is flying.
Thanks!
Good morning Derek. I love to see that copper flying out of the Copper King when you dial it in. Go brother Go.
Thanks! 👍
Thanks 👍
Nice love the wire flying 👌
Thanks! 👍
Decent chunk of change in the end. Nice work!
Thanks!
Great video.i remember stripping that thin wire by hand.tied the ends to the washing line, did 100 metres at a time with a dull butter knife, steak knife just made needles lol.😂
I When I did it by hand I used a dull fillet knife
Now that will save your back. All about ergonomics!
Thanks!
Hi Project Shop FL & it's is Randy and i like yours video is Cool & Thanks Project FL & Friends Randy
Thanks Randy. 👍
Great job and video
Thanks!
lots of wire but it would have been nice to have help but you seem to do just fine on your own great video as always thanks for shareing with us
Thanks 👍
Just finished watching Devils Island on UA-cam and somehow I knew you would have part 2 of the previous video uploaded now. It’s too bad you don’t have someone rolling up that copper while you strip it. If I lived nearby and you didn’t mind, I would volunteer my time during the day to help you out. I still have stuff to send you, I should have had Amazon deliver it directly to you but I wanted to add something else to the package. Oh well, I’ll mail it out soon. Take care buddy. ❤
Thanks, Take your time I'll be here. lol
So happy you gonna clean that table, it not been good for my ocd.
@@MrDawson1400 😂😂😂 I’m actually doing it now. lol
Anyone else just find this oddly relaxing to watch hahahah
Thanks!
@@ProjectShopFl yw I really mean it in a good way just watching the wires be broke down 😆 but seeing the different size holes on it what's the biggest wires you have fed through it
@@tylerdunning7363 750 mcm is the biggest I've ran through the machine.
@@ProjectShopFl nice
Copper 👑 😵💫 COPPER 👑 😵💫 copper 👑 😵💫😵💫😵💫😵💫😵💫😵💫😵💫😵💫😵💫😵💫😵💫😵💫😵💫😵💫😵💫
I saw one guy use two rollers to crush the casing of wire .like a old washing machine ringer but with electric moter and much stronger springs .
I had a similar machine years ago.
maybe you can long coils- coil it up on the backside (using spring from vacuumcleaner). just a idea
Thanks for the suggestion
Commenting for the halibut.
Thanks!
Keep doing it buddy, hopefully gets better.same up here, slim pickings..😊
Thanks, My customers are complaining how slow it is.
Good job 👍👍👍 pozdrawiam serdecznie z Polski 🇵🇱 👍👍👍
Thanks!
lately you often forget yourself, you don't turn on the subtitles, and Europe also subscribes to your channel,;
Thanks, I'm not sure how to turn them on. I will look into it.
you should show us all the copper that you can pull out from under the copper king lol
😂😂😂 I will be doing that soon.
You need the automatic donut maker.
Yes!
Not saying what to do here.. Just a suggestion! Use one Spool of Wires in the front to feed it, and 2 spools in the back for the plastic/rubber insulation and the wire itself (maybe even put a weaker motor on the spinning rod at the back so it doesn't mess up thing for you and maintain tension during the process), you just need to waste time setting it up. Maybe do a test run to see if works or not when you have the time.
I understand your worry is the mess in the back of your wire stripper, but it's being roll in the back as you unrolled in the front, there's no mess to think about it. Another suggestion if you think about it is cutting one end of the spool so you can easily remove both the cooper and the waste afterwards, if you can find one that disconnect in the middle would be even easier for your recycling process.
You'll still need to feed all the "nuggets" and smaller pieces you take from your recycling machines process.
But if you still think it will never work you can just dismiss my rambling..
The wire comes out twisted because it's twisted already. It's a really good idea but it won't work. It might be good for 10 meters though.
@@KamuiPan thanks for the suggestion I thought about this for years and it is possible I don’t think spoiling it up again is the right idea because I have to keep removing it and resetting I think feeding it into a system where it just separates the insulation to one side and set the clean copper into a big bin would be the way to go. I’ll go over it in a video soon cause I get this suggestion all the time.
There must be a way for you to design a split plate of funnel or something that would seperate the wire copper from isolation at the exit of the stripper so you can run long wire . If you have to stop the machine once to set the wire iin the splitter and have 2 side on your table you could run 100feet long cable without a mess 😂
I've thought about that for a wile. I might explore something here soon.
I like how the wire looks like ribbon wire after getting smooched from the second rollers. The front roller (1 before entering) doesn't spin hardly anymore. Is that by design? Looks like da poor lady is getting worn out in one area. I do hope you rotate her. 😊 YES I understand she rattled a lot when you first installed her but you and the copper king NEED TO GIVE HER A BREAK and turn her a little before you wear a hole plum through her. 😊 💖 from Minnesota 😎
Thanks I need to put some bearings in it.
Sounds likea hint of blondie playing in background
I caught that too, do you think UA-cam picked that up??
@@Naplesfrank154 shhhhhhuuuuttttt🤫
Hope not
As long as its not more than 15 seconds
at 11.42 , of stripped cable at the speed of light. Crazy 😅
😂😂😂 Thanks!
I noticed more people use subtitles.I was looking for it,but didn't find it
I will try and add them
Maybe I missed what was said, but can you buy the copper wire still in plastic covering from the scrap yard and remove the plastic and sell it back to scrap yard for a profit?
@@johnsharp8627 I don’t think there would be enough profit buying it from a scrapyard because they get a premium for the wire and they would expect you to pay that, selling it back to them wouldn’t make sense because they’re not gonna pay you what they get for the bright and shiny. You have to sell directly to a mill
@@ProjectShopFlWhere could people buy it on a regular basis and remove it from the plastic and sell it to a mill? This is from a man with medical heart issues, to make income from home.
When you time lapse you make more money per hour !

Hey bro
Hello 👋
What happened to Steve? There one day and now not around at all?
I went over it in the video call answering questions and talking too much. He moved 2.5 hours away.
Dang I must have missed that part. If I was closer, I'd definitely help ya out. Love this kinda work. But I'm way up in ND about 45 mins from Canada lol
@@JustinGrosz wow! Thanks for the offer

I'm not sure how to do that but I will look in to it.
@@ProjectShopFl ok
Where's your help? On those longer rolls of copper wire cables why do you go through the process of breaking them down, then extracting the copper for resale? Can you not just offer the roll as it was for sale? The more you use your contraption to remove the wire, the more breakdowns you will encounter.
It's old wire no one wants to risk pulling it in and then having some issue.
Been looking at lights for sale local to me. About what is the average return on a 400 watt light fixture? I dont know if you sharesome of your secrets and i understand if you dont. Just trying to figure out what i can pay and make profit. Thanks
They are iron/aluminum so that's the price I pay .15 per lb.
Thanks for the advice. Your are the light scrapping man!
Most around me want 10 to 25.00 per light. Not surewhat the weight is. I'm thinking 10 is steep, and anything over is money lost
