Megan, you have become more stunning as time goes by! I’m 73 and am just beginning to learn how to care for and embrace my waves. I usually get frustrated and brush everything out, end up with frizzy poofy hair and throw it up in a bun! My hair is past my shoulders and if I do what you have learned to do I end up with volume and glossy waves. I’m going to try the product quiz and take it from there. Thank you for being brave and vulnerable. You are a rock star🥰
Hey I am a curly girl too!!! I have been embracing my own curls for 6 to 7 years now. I was watching some UA-cam and I saw your video pop up on my feed so I wanted to watch!
Your hair is super pretty and you do a great job at styling it! Here are some tips that you might want to include if you want to. After you were done scrunching your hair you might want to use a T-shirt how to scrunch out the excess water this will help your hair dry faster and it will help the curls shrink up more. And then add a little bit more gel on damp hair for some extra hold.
And for weird curls when you are done diffusing your hair let your hair sit and don’t touch it while it’s still in the cast. Then when you fluff it and you see some weird curls you can take a little bit of water and finger twirl them with a little bit of water on your fingers.
Hope this was helpful!
I knew you were a perfect candidate for some of the curly girl methods! I’ve been noticing your gorgeous curls in recent weeks and wondered had you begun using any of these techniques. My problem is all that bending at the waist-literally hurt my back, washing, gelling, drying, working on my curls! One tip-turn off the dryer; place your hair in diffuser; turn on dryer; turn off before pulling it away. You’ve inspired me to give it a go again for my style! ❤
Well demonstrated, Megan. I ordered the gel immediately. I have just a wave in my hair. After watching your demo, I think I can encourage more curls. This will help with aging, thinning hair.💜💜
Try not to ‘fluff’ until your hair is 100% dry so curls don’t go frizzy. I’ve learnt to love my odd unique curls-they’re still part of the ‘family’. To refresh on non wash days I just finely mist with water, shape/scrunch curls with my hands and then air dry. The wash day products reactivate with the water but I also add some curl foam to help which is light and won’t weigh down my curls. Your curls are lovely-glad you’ve embraced them❤
Enjoyed your hair tutorial! Didn’t think it looked weird at all. I found that it’s better to go with the way your hair wants to lay than to try and fight it. You’ve definitely perfected your technique.
I wore my hair curly in my twenties, and then started straightening it. When we moved to Hawaii last year, I had to let it curl again because that was a battle I was not going to with the humidity. 😂 my husband said I was there for a week and my hair turned into Maui’s hair. The curl formation is usually referred to as “clumps” versus “ropes.” And the hard gel is usually referred to as a “cast.” You can break the gel cast by scrunching. To further reduce frizz, you could hover diffuse for the first 5-10 minutes the move into pixie diffuse once the gel has taken hold. You could also try finger coiling the clumps that give you trouble. Finger coiling also helps with getting a more uniform curl.
Megan, your hair always looks stunning! As a 'curly girl' myself, it's good to know how to make them look their best. The 'Curly Girl' method has helped me a lot to figure out how to wash, dry, and style better. I even got my own hairdresser to embrace her own curls! More water and more product are your friend to getting big luscious, bouncy curls and dry completed before starting to style and rearrange curls. I'm no expert either but from what your video shows you are definitely on the right track.
Megan your hair looks gorgeous ❤I’m going to give product and your process a try. The keeping the hair wet was something I never tried. Thank you for making this.
Great job Megan. I’ve commented several times on how good your hair has been looking. I love it like this!
Omg, I have mentioned before how there needs to be a timeline video of Megan's hair styles from the beginning of their UA-cam channel. I'm 67 and embraced my curly hair at the age of 40, shout out to Kevin, only the best hairdresser ever. Great tutorial, not too much different than what I do, my hair is to elbows.
Your longer hair is the bomb! You were born for it. 💗
Omg I have similar hair where I’ve never really known how to get curls everywhere not just on the bottom and I’ve always tried to straighten cause it drove me crazy…thanks Megan…beautiful!
I’m 47 and just started wearing my hair curly. I’m still learning so this was really nice to see.
I love your curls! I always though I had straight hair but I've discovered wave. A good haircut and some hair products make it easier. Like you, I no longer wash it daily!
ThIs video is everything. I tried it your way last evening and it finally worked. Thank you for the video. My straight hair fell out during covid and came back in curly and frizzy. Oh and your hair is so gorgeous and you get more beautiful every year. Plus because of you I got my Bosch finally during black Friday.
Hair is gorgeous. This length and the soft curls just look fabulous! Thanks for sharing ❤❤❤❤❤
If you refresh your hair day 2 or 3 you should try just rewetting without adding product and the water should reactivate the product that is already in your hair. Always works good for me so i only have to add product day one. You can also try just finger coiling or pin curling just the top layer if the underneath still looks good ❤
I fought my curls until menopause hit and my hair said NO MORE 😂 I’m learning to work with them and I love it. Your hair is gorgeous and we have had similar hair styles, so I am really grateful for this video!!!
Me too !! I now love my curls ! Except my hair is down to the middle of my back.
I have the straightest hair ever known to man but i still thoroughly enjoyed your tutorial and also just had to say, you crack me up! I love your little editing additions. They give me such a good chuckle every time! I'm a fan :) LOL! Thanks for your awesome videos, ive been watching since RV days prior to the around the world trip. Been LOVING the reno vids. Yall are awesome!
Thank you Megan for the video, your hair looks amazing! 💗
This is your best look by far, beautiful! Love the curls
Wahoo! I love this Megan. I felt like you were talking about my hair. I am going to take another stab at making it better after seeing you have such results from your efforts. ❤
Beautiful curls. You have very pretty hair Megan. Thanks for the tutorial ❤
You did a great job. Thank you for being vulnerable and doing something you weren't really excited about doing. When you first said curl ropes, I was a little confused but I think that your curl ropes a lot of people refer to them as curl clumps, and instead of gel breaking, they call it scrunching out the crunch. It looks good, and I'm excited to check out the products you used.
Your curls have been looking amazing in your vlogs lately. I have pin straight hair, but still watched this! haha The amount of work that curls take is really something.
Watched the Knorpps for such a long time. Your hair always looked exquisite! But lately it just gorgeous. I have naturally curly hair too. My fiance bought me your dryer and Love Ur Curls. You should stare at yourself ! Beautiful!
Very stunning, natural-looking & flattering for you!👏🤗 It's my favorite of all of your styles, I think! Thanks for sharing how you do this. Keep up the great work at taking such good care of yourself!❤👏💖
From another curly girl, their never perfect and that’s the beauty of them.❤️🇨🇦
It’s beautiful, thank you for showing us! I hope there’s more house content coming soon too! I love seeing your decorating and thrifting trips! ❤
Thank you for this video. Your longer hair is so flattering, and I have been wondering how your hair made such a dramatic transition. Lots of great tips!!
Hi Megan I love your hair you always look gorgeous you look younger than your age I'm not trying to make brownie points but you do you look beautiful I always admire you and you always inspire me how to decorate my house and where to put things and what colors go with what it's so awesome and I love to know and see how your children are growing I just thank God for you guys and you guys are such a blessing to me
Lols, 3 irish references in one video 🤣. Humidity, Fr. Ted, and the moss.
Another of life’s mysteries unfolded! Thx for stepping out of your comfort zone and letting us see your hair routine!
Not me at 63 learning that ropes are a GOOD thing! When I come out of the shower my hair ropes up and I’m quickly unroping it thinking that’s not a good thing. Definitely going to take the quiz and see what products they recommend. This shall be interesting. Your hair has been looking extra beautiful these days. Thank you for the tutorial.
This was so helpful and fun! Thank you for sharing!
I love your hair and always wondered how you styled it. Thanks so much for sharing! I needed to see how so I can get my curls to look like curls not frizz.
Absolutely beautiful !!!! Thanks for sharing!!!
I just love this style..looks very classy..thanks so much for sharing ❤❤
Thanks so much for the hair video - you did a great job! I can't wait to order the product and see if I can actually make my wavy/curly hair look as good as yours!
Beautiful! Just Beautiful!!
In a most loving way, may I suggest when a cold sore signals onset ...fuzzy tingly feeling, quickly grab an ice cube, place directly on fuzzy area until ice cube completely melts. Let dry naturally. Re-apply fresh ice cube, do same process until you no longer feel fuzzy tingle. If you are blessed, the sore will not even emerge . If sore does appear, continue with treatment until any tingle is banished. Sanitize hands, as not to infect anyone else. Most often this treatment will prevent sore to escalate, if you experience break-out ice WILL kill most yucky pus. Shorten scale etc, Hopefully this will be beneficial to you and prevent discomfort! I pray you will suffer less. Also, no chemicals. No side affects. Shortens outbreak!
You have such beautiful hair! Since you have been styling it this way I must admit I have almost been watching your hair more than the rest of the video!!! Thank you for doing this video! I will give my own hair, which is very similar to yours, a good try!
This was honestly the best hair video. I have the exact same hair texture and curl as you. It's the water, that's what I was missing! thank you, Megan! It was really refreshing to just see another lady in her bathroom trying to figure this out. It was also hilarious, love perm and fan Megan.
thanks, as someone with very similar hair, I plan to give these products a try.
My daughter and I use the same hair product and loving it.❤
I have your same hair. Everything you said is exactly how my hair is/behaves. I tried your method this morning and it worked. I need some more practice but it’s SO much better going with the waviness I have.
I’ve been loving your curls! ❤
I agree with keeping it soaking wet. I will often add a little conditioner with the gel when I am in the shower after I turn off the water but before I get out. I always get better curls that way.
Also you could go back and use a curling iron to fix the weird curls or ones that stretched out.
Well done Megan great curly hair tutorial your hair looks stunning
Just love your hair curls thanks for sharing ❤
I love your hair at this length❤️ so pretty.
Thank you, I have never known what to do with my wavy curls, so I just straightened it - which ruins it. I'll be trying this out!❤
Thanks Megan. I love your curls and have been hoping for a video on how you achieve them.💜
Beautiful curls!
Great video, I can’t wait to try this💐
The “I am a fan” graphic made me actually LOL. Nicely done. 😂
Megan your hair in this style is the best I’ve ever seen it, and I’ve been following your channel since you were in the fifth wheel!! You look stunning!! Love your cut, style and colour!! My hair is like yours and so it’s really great to get some good ideas of how to turn frizzy to curls! Thanks for all the great tips! 😃🤩🌟💖
Thank you for sharing. So glad you made this video. Love love your hair. Buying the products
It’s beautiful. My favourite hair style on you.
I love your hair at this length and so jealous of the curls!
Thank you so much. I really appreciate this video as my hair is similar. It is helpful and your hair looks great.
Megan, your hair is so beautiful! It always looks so nice!
Megan, your hair looks GREAT! Beautiful curls. Thanks for sharing with us.
I was actually wondering how you went about the change to your hairstyle and if its an easy routine etc. Neat others thought the same & you want to give us the 411 on the look for other ladies who can rock natural curls too. This is my favorite style you've had since started the channel. 😊
Loved the hair video! I have straight hair, but enjoyed watching your hair routine!
Your hair looks great!!
This video was awesome and you did really well in the tutorial. I wish I had curls in my hair to something similar.
Absolutely gorgeous !
Love your hair with the curls! So beautiful 💕
I am loving yourhair!
Beautiful hair ....curls🎉❤❤
Well done, friend! ❤
My hair seems similar to yours. Thank you for taking us through the steps! Very helpful.
I Love women helping women…..ENOUGH SAID!
Megan, thank you so much for the demonstration of making wavy hair look gorgeous! I always thought I had straight hair and wore a pixie FOR DECADES! I grew my hair during the pandemic and discovered wavy hair and some curls on my head! Where did they come from!?!? I’m 73 and it makes me feel young! When they don’t do what I want I just stick it up in a clip and it’s all good!
So adorable!
Your hair is so pretty, love this hair style!
Thank u so much for sharing this Megan! Our hair is identical ( tighter banana curls on the bottom, looser curls / waves in top) and I've used LUS products since 2019 but w out your amazing results...this video has shown me that I can use WAAAY more product. I think that's been my problem! I'm so glad you made this video! Thank u! 😊
Awesome curls I have curly hair and have used a diffuser in the past ❤️👍🎉
Beautiful!!
I always thought your hair was beautiful no matter what accessories you use or how you styled it.
You always remind me of the Pinup Girls back in the day because of your syle and I love it. ❤️
Thanks, Megan, for making this video! Your hair is a little more curly/wavy than mine, but I think I need to use more water. Your hair is just beautiful like this. You have found your perfect style!
Thanks Megan. My hair is similar. I’m 66 yrs. I’m going to try that product.
I love your hair short or longer! I have curly pixie hair and aged 67, embrace my grey but might grow it a bit longer! Thanks Megan. ❤
So pretty!
Wonderful video, Megan! I was so excited that you are using LUS. I have been using the LUS 3-Step system for a couple years now. My naturally curly hair has never looked better.
You are blessed to have such stunning hair.❤
Great 👍 👌 Job Megan. Thank's for sharing how you do your hair.
Beautiful hair ... beautiful person. Thanks for sharing. ❤
I love your longer hair. Your curls are amazing. Thanks so much for filming this hair video.
Love this❤️
I have super straight hair, but I really enjoyed watching you do your lovely curly hair. ❤
Love it! My hair was like yours, I have curly ringlets in the very back bottom and waves on top. But the older I get the straighter (and thinner) it has gotten. So I bite the bullet and use the blower.
Lovely looks great suits you very much this style
