    I don’t know why more folks don’t do this. This adds years to your Rectifier as heat is what kills them.

      hey, thanks for the comment. I suspect that the reasons for this include: the original part has a backing plate of metal, and is pressed against the frame where it bolts, adding some conduction cooling (thus reducing the dependence on air cooling and lasting longer); mechanics don't have time to think; fewer and fewer people have much practical electronic knowledge or experience; diagnosis requires the fixer to engage with the problem and think outside the dots.

    my MT25 have the same looking regulator and it get hot very fast ,after 5 years the regulator dead and almost burn the entire cable to magnet coil, im planning to put some cooling fan too
