There are a lot of things I dislike about SC2. For me, the perfect rts is a mix of SC2 and BAR. because BAR got a ton of QOL, but I dislike how expensive production plants are.
Tahts what annoys me with Terrans. Protoss do this every day, prism juggling, and when terran once in the blue moon also do it , its suddenly a revelation. But ofc terran micro is the hardest and Protoss is the a-move race....
What a game 1 man. I mean Jesus, who else but Showtime and GuMiho? Anybody else might've tapped out either way a long time ago, but when there's $1,000,000 in prizes on the line, why not? When every win can increase your winnings by an amount equal to almost the amount you will win for the rest of the year combined, you fight for every. god. damn. inch.
That first game was so insane. So good. Its a pity Showtime alwys seems to be by a milimeter, on the wrong side of these super close games againt Gumiho, just like in homestorycup.
I love Zerg. I usually don't watch matches if there isn't a Zerg player, but for Gumiho, I make an exception. That first match was amazing. What an absolutely perfect mess.
It's a great game and all but... terrans are so strong in this situation i had no doubt all game long than gumi will win It's so often like this, T1 terran fighting T2 toss and winning, hard to witness!
Listen, I'm a big protoss fan. But do you not know what an all-in is? Gumiho gave up his natural mineral line to artificially inflate his army size by sending his workers into battle, it was his very last chance to win the game.
@@davehollis5816 If the all-in fails that's still all of his army supply and just short of 20 SCVs dead. Unless he kills enough probes two orbitals aren't gonna be enough to build up a defense against the warp ins.
Colosses are useless DO TEMPLARS/Immortals feedbacks os dropships dammit! Colosses are so fking easy to kill. Terrans just do ghost / vikings or even tanks and they die in 2 sec. Why nobody use hallucinations for hiding your troups? It is very useful for tanking damages.
17 dps of 24 marine with 3 medivac cost (1200/0 + 300/300 = 1500/300) gona get 408 dps Vs 9.7 dps of 10 stalker cost (1250/500) gona get 97 dps 408 dps vs 97 dps, even a kid knows "4 times higher"
On stim with +1 against +0 stalkers. With +0 and against 1 stalker armor it's 197 (295 stim?). Medivacs also heal, negating some of the dps of stalkers, so it's like 300 vs 60, ironically 300 vs 300 for the first second counting 240 damage from stim.

The disruptor is just a sad gambler's version of the collossus, created because EMP + vikings don't really have a counter from protoss. Now we have the worst of both worlds, games where either 1 lucky disruptor can swing the match or 12 disruptors can be 48 completely worthless supply. All because there's no AA robo unit. It could have been an actual strategy component, how much do you invest in AA-robo unit to protect the collossi, versus actually building the collossi to deal with the bioball. Terrans could meanwhile try to cut down the collossi with viking/disruptor, or perhaps just go mass marauder + siege and just tank the thermal lances on the ground Sigh.

Any pro Terran who is able to watch the fight should never lose chunks of their army to disruptors because they can move away, pick up, or target the disruptors themselves. The one advantages is that disruptors don't die to vikings. That's it. Instead of giving Protoss a counter to Vikings, which it doesn't have to this day, Blizzard gave it disruptors, which are *Collossi but worse and more luck dependent*

@@firestarter000001 Prisms have a way larger pick-up range, making prism juggling significantly easier and less risky.
@@LeCheckmate Acknowledged. The Protoss tough usually does it against a much higher dps terran army, raising the risk and rising the micro difficulty.
