This video is truly useful and informative. Thanks for this rachel! Btw can I ask what are your exact scores in reading, writing, speaking and listening? 😊😊
Hi Ate Rachel. Can I ask po if you have any info about how can to take TCF or TEF here in the Philippines? Pampa-boost lang po sana ng CRS score. Thank you. :)
Hi, I am applying for a SP and got my LOA, my program(1 year only) didn’t require an IELTS so I didn’t take it. Still waiting for my visa approval though. So I was wondering if is it better to take IELTS here in the PH or in Canada during my pgwp or before I apply for express entry? Thank you and keep on inspiring ✨
If you were able to get an acceptance letter from a designated learning institution without the need of taking a language proficiency test - then that’s fine, IELTS is not required for a regular study permit application 😊 If you’re preparing for EE- then best to take it near the time you meet its min requirements 😊👍 and you’re probably in Canada then 👍😊
Hi Rachel! you've mentioned that you took General Training exam twice. What if the 1st exam result came out higher than the 2nd one. Can you use the 1st one instead or it will already be invalidated by the 2nd result? Thank you! =)
Yes you can still use the first one, if the results are higher than the second one. It doesn’t have to be the most recent, you can choose the highest scoring IELTS exam- as long as it’s still valid 👍😊
Got a CLB 8 as well. Listening 8.5, Reading 9.0, Speaking 8.0 and Writing is 6.0 LOL. I believed and followed a format given by a friend for writing. I should have stuck with the tips from UA-cam.

When do you think I should start applying to colleges and universities there and along with it I m having a dozen questions. I hope you could address this in your next video. Your videos are sooooooooooooo helpful... thank you for creating such useful content
Hi dear, I’d first check the processing times for a study permit made outside of Canada from your home country. Then I’d make sure my program starts AFTER that, that way you have allowance to prepare to come to Canada. I’ll try to explain it in better detail in my upcoming videos. Thank you for the love and support 👍😊💕
@@rrdancel I looove your videos.. it's soo helpful... Also could you please explain about which intake is good for shifting to Canada and so if I take a 2 year course when should I apply to get an invitation for PR? What if my prospect school in Canada is not requiring IELTS, does it affect my PR application or any applications after finishing my study program in getting the permanent residency? Thank you Ma'am Rachel.
No it doesn’t affect it, bc the requirements for Studying is an Academic IELTS. Whereas Express Entry is the General test. It’s likely you will have to retake your English exam too when you apply for PR as it also has a validity of 2 years.
I had to take IELTS 3x to get CLB 10. That was five years ago. Now I'm taking it again in two weeks for PR. Hoping to get CLB 10 in one take! Been studying here in Canada for about a year now so I hope it will be easier

This is a question on personal preference and it really depends on your comfort level since both are equally challenging. I prefer paper-based IELTS as i weirdly focus better when I can feel the test material lol :)
Hi iyad, It is definitely possible. If your English is not good enough, then its definitely a good idea because English will allow you to understand your program a lot better. I hope that answers your question!

The higher your IELTS score is the higher your points will be isn't entirely correct. When you hit the CLB 9 benchmark, there's no way you can get more points. You can hit the CLB 9 benchmark by getting a 8 in listening and 7 in all other areas.
