The Strain Leader's Commune ability requires you to choose a Strategic Ploy during Select Operatives that will be free - you don't get to change it each turn. You can't reroll a reroll. The Vespid fighting who got two hits and and a miss rerolled with Balanced, then rerolled the same die with a CP. All exarchs can shoot or fight twice innately, they don't need to use a ploy for it.
This is my third video I’ve watched this week. I love your KT videos. I want to see a display of the models before the battles like what you did for the Chaos Cults/Aquilon video
Thank you for great game. Another shoutout for Sv 3+ on Striking Scorpions. The Oversight Drone’s Aerial Guidance gives Saturate to all Operatives and not just a single one (as long as they are visible and within 6” of the drone).
@@Squad-Games-Entertainment It's even until its next activation, so if you activate it early in one TP you can use it for the next TP until you activate the Drone again.
They need to allow you to get double techniques if you take 5 or more of one type, that way you can bring 5 banshees, for example, and double up on techniques. Would help to not have to buy 2 boxes of banshees and 2 boxes of dire avengers. They also need some way to deal with elites. They are so fun to play when you get used to their techniques but just are way underpowered currently. Counteract on conceal would be fun too
We need a +3 save on scorpions I love the idea of getting 2 techniques with only 5 operatives! Thats really good. My list of changes would be as follows Scorpions 3+ saven 6" move Banshees 8 inch move Dire avengers lose accurate and gain balanced Exarchs go to 11 wounds Take 5 operatives and the team can do 2 techniques. (Stole that from night geist) All of this and they still get rolled by marines. But they would be playable into other teams at least
@@Squad-Games-Entertainment ya I agree with it all, I’d be ok with scorps staying at 7 as they move as fast as the other in 40K but I like banshees at 8 like 40K. I agree with your ideas, especially a tank exarch as they are double wounds in 40K. I know you can’t do direct translations but 11 wounds seems right. I think if you could do double techniques with 5 models, you could use banshees with a couple scorps and dire avenger and have play into elites. The banshee rain of tears really helps and if you could still have 2 scorp for super conceal, mandiblasters, and patient stalk, you might be able to chip and kill elites. Maybe. (Especially if elites get some balance changes)
The ploy that reduces damage from vespids does actually matter because it makes the chainswords do 3/4 (lol). In that first fight he would've actually stayed alive on 1 and killed the scorpion.
Hi! Just a question. I know that the striking scorpions have the super conceal, but if you go in 2 from the striking scorpion, you're not in cover, right? And it's not like the vantage that says during the choosing target sequence. So I think The first turn (with +2 of movement, equip + mission), the vespid could shoot him. And also in the beginning of the second turn.
You are correct, we were still learning the edition at this point i think the edition dropped 4 days beofre we filmed this video. Being within 2" removes super conceal
Blades of khaine's striking Scorpions needs : 3+ save / invul 4+ Mw2 on mandiblaster when fighting / retaliating ( on the first hit , so enemies with 2hp left just don't get killed without having a chance to hit ) For the whole team : one aspect can be taken one more time than the other if it's the " primary aspect chosen for the game ... Or some thing like that )
@@Squad-Games-Entertainment I feel it would go well if everyone else is 3+ save , the exarch . Also most of their equipements could be once per turning point instead of once per battle .
Justice for Striking Scorpions' 3+ Armor Save!
It so terribly needs to be 3+ for the whole team
upvoted just because of 3+ save comment.
"That's a family name" - pure gold.
Whew, those were about the spiciest “all-in” rerolls I’ve ever seen! Well done on the bat-rep!

They should have a 3+ save!

Yeah, we goofed on that one. Even if it only gave saturate to 1 model it would be good, but the fact that it could give it to all of them is nuts!

the great gun. the mid scorpions, the least favorite children of Eldrad 😂
At 47:48, shouldnt have been able to reroll twice the same dice
