- On 'Sister Wives,' Kody Brown reflects on his life on his 55th birthday and shares a 'goal' he'd like to achieve, which includes his estranged kids. The Brown patriarch gets emotional talking about how he imagined his plural marriage, before ending his spiritual marriages to Meri, Janelle and Christine. He also says he wants to be a ‘loving father’ to his kids, after their relationships were strained amid Kody’s splits. 'Sister Wives' airs Sundays on TLC.
A therapist once told me, those who say "we are all to blame" or similar things are almost always the worse perpetrator.
He can start with paying back their moms, he owns them money.
One year after that (Jan 2025), Kody still did not trie to fix his relationship with his kids. In March, his son (Garrison) died. In November, he did not fix his relationship with his kids. He even did not call his daughter (Mykelti) who tried to have a relationship with him. He lost a son and it does not change him. He is a jerk!
It has not taken all of them to create the world they’re in - it took him and Robin.
If it were me, it would take him admitting that he was the one who broke it, before I'd be willing to let him repair it. I went a decade of not talking to my mother until she emailed me when Covid happened to check on me and apologize for the first time in my life about all the things she did and said to me. We only emailed from that point on until she died a couple years later, but I was glad she reached out to me like that. All he has to do is apologize sincerely to his children and I'm sure they would forgive him with time

Imagine having a dad who's on public tv and keep saying publicly that he never loved her mom and only married her out of obligation who would want to have relationship with dad.He keeps bashing their mom over and over, not to mention he had several children with their mom, how bizarre is that

Confused or just another fake BS so he doesn’t look like the evil mean rubbish father he was before Garrison took his life! Not buying any of it. His big picture was shattered coz his older kids saw what he truly was when they got older & how badly he treated them! La La Land to think they’d live anywhere remotely near him when he all but told them all to leave, insulted them all even a 13yr old! Witnessed how badly he treated & relentlessly insulted their mothers especially the constant “i did my duty” servicing them like cattle! Mocking their plural marriage they thought was a loving one to find out it was just fake for 30yrs from his point of view!
