I'm convinced ypuare just addicted to shopping and give them gifts/gift baskets every week. This is rediculous. The amount of money you could have saved for a nice vacation, a new house that actually fits all of you, or for college for the kids is mind blowing. The most wasteful person on the internet.
How about instead of crap you gift the kids an experience for their birthday, or a group day to the kids museum. Your house had to be. Using st the seems from all the crap in it.

Imagine having the ability to speak but not comprehend and then complain about someone else living their life to the fullest which you find abhorrent because god forbid someone is happy in this world we have. I think one nice chocolate heart from a locally owned candy shop would have been the same price and support a small business instead.
Why do you get the youngest the same as the oldest? I mean I don’t buy my 7 year old grandchild the same as my 17 year old grandchild…absolutely not. Would someone explain or is it just me? 🤦♀️
A few reasons for it. Most of the kids, especially the oldest boys and Bree went for many years through hard conditions and went without. Some of them also have impaired cognitive development. By giving them all the same, there is no stigma of an older child being made fun of for enjoying toys. It also gives a developmentally on par child the freedom to enjoy these things they missed for the first 5-9/11 years (? Can't remember how old patrick was when he went with them). And many siblings want what the other has, so this way everyone is happy.

I am the youngest of 12.
Alicia's oldest is 17 years old and the youngest is 5/6 years old. No way she can say they want the same things.

Kids have different interests and they change as they grow older, but one thing that hasn’t changed as i get older is my love/ liking of teddy’s, Winnie the pooh and Beatrix potter things.

I have a question WHY SO MUCH CANDY! The older ones are past that stage!!! The young ones would be ok with a candy heart! It is not how much you get or spend it is the simplest things in life that matter! Spend some Quality time with each and everyone of them!
Yes hopefully the kids say no to eating all that candy. Thats to much!! As a parent you're supposed to control your child's diet so they can be really healthy but this doesn't seem healthy to me! Its teaching very bad habits, that will hurt there health.

My mom got me Valentine’s Day presents when I was growing up. I always appreciated it. Now that she passed away, I’m grateful for those happy memories. I think she’s doing this to try and ensure all the kids have a happy childhood and ensures they have good memories. Be kind.

Easter is the end of March this year. So crazy.
Please start getting each kid their own things. I have 3 kids, all boys, 1,2,4. I make sure they have an equal amount, but I get them stuff to match what they like. They each get their own books, and colored things. By getting them their own things you’ll show them you actually know their personality. It breaks my heart seeing all the same stuff every time.

Kids almost always want what the other kids have. She has also mentioned this a reason she gets all the same. It also allows the older children to embrace the more playful childhood centered part of life. Especially since most of them had very rough starts.

I got my 2 daughters 17 and 19 their valentines gift from the dollar store. They have these black clear makeup bags with a pink puff on the zipper I stuffed them with heart makeup sponges and heart nail files and mints and more. I’m super excited to give it to them

This is just MY opinion but don't you think that the older boys are a bit old for teddies plus we don't have a dollar tree here in th UK unfortunately would love to be able to go ou out and shop but being housebound I am unable so have to do all my shopping 🛍 on line so can't get to benefit from bargains no more 😢
Dt has cloth laundry bags thats great for holding the stuffies in when the kids are not playing with them. I hang up in my closet 😅. But it helps keep them off my floors 😊.

Super unimportant, but as a Canadian who worked at Timmies for 5 years, I'm sorry to say but a french vanilla is not coffee! It is made with a powder and hot water just like the hot chocolate is!

She bought each of the kids a small white garbage can for their bedrooms.
She wants something for the kids to reuse. So she is getting the baskets and says they can use them in their rooms for garbage??

I think it's wonderful how you make sure you get something for every kid for the holidays, even the Valentines and every holiday. It's wonderful. I lost my mother July 27th, 2009, I've been lost my dad May 11th 2010. I may always make sure we had something for every holiday no matter what it was. It was something there for us and no matter how old we were. I would let someone cut my arm off to be able to get one more day with her and and be able to get a holiday gift from her like she used to do.
