Thank you so much! I have been searching for how to do this in Camtasia and thought I needed a new program. So thankful to have found your video. Keep them coming, I've subscribed now and am looking forward to learning more about Camtasia, I figure it is about time beings I have had the program for a few years now. I have been just doing the basics. Just recently learned some shortcut keys and settings to help speed up video editing. Thank you again.
I always like being creative with Camtasia. This was an excellent explanation on how to customize library assets for transitions from clip to clip. As you mentioned in the video, these types of transitions should be used sparingly, to disrupt for the key points or steps.
Thanks, MrLarryQ! I know that some of my videos are on the long side, but many appreciate the way I walk through things. Your feedback is much appreciated.
I found it difficult (impossible actually) to follow the video at approximately 5:48, where the green arrows suddenly appear on the asset in the timeline. I was unable to figure out how to make those green arrows show up, and thus was unable to follow the remainder of the video. Additionally, it would have been better if you had used an already existing library item rather than a custom one you made (the one called Gordsomethingorother). Overall unhappy with this video, I guess I will try to find another video that will actually show me how to create my own transitions in Camtasia.
Well, I went to check a link from where I bought, and it's no longer available. That said, you can see one of the sales pages here: supergoodbonus.com/bonus-page-for-comics-graphic-kit/ . I would search on photo sites and look for "comic backgrounds" or "comic patterned backgrounds". I looked on Depositphotos for "comic background" vectors and found several ideas. I hope that helps!
Thank you very much,I made the transition in Camtasia using 6 photos but some times transition gets fast and sometimes gets slow in the same play, please guide.
Two things to tune. The Z Rotation I set at 720 or -720 (= 2 spins of 360 degrees). To make them faster or slower, the key frame end point needs to move - move to left to make faster, or move to right to make slower). Good luck!
@@GordIsman Thanks alot for quick response, I want to move the 6 pics I made from right to left, in a simple way, no advance animation or rotation is involved, I used custom transition, thought succeeded but it becomes fast going from tail to head of transition arrow, till next pic, and then again become fast😢

Thanks, Naomi. My main use is for my tips videos and other scenarios where I do want an interrupt of sorts. They are so fun to make too!
Another winner Gord. SO much better than Camtasia's tutorials.
