Good to hear you’re back Gord! You have the BEST Camtasia videos. Sorry you had such a rough time recently. You’ve made the right decisions and it sounds like it’s paying off. Great work.

Thanks for sharing...inspirational ...we missed you...keep posting
Hey Sandeep... I'll do my best to keep it going... but balance will be the way.
Welcome back and glad you did what was/is BEST for YOU! Keep the good fight up!
(we all need to remember that we only get one life to live and we need to make the best of what we have!)
Thanks, Dean! Yes, it's figuring out how to get the most out of this "one life" without expiring too early ... I'm an eternal student.
Thank You Gord for sharing your story and in spite of what life's throw's at you here you are inspiring us to see what good comes from adversity and by taking responsibility and daily action, the light is shining bright.
Hey Charlie, thanks so much for your kind words. It was a tough video to create and to share as it's a very vulnerable moment for me - the last few years. I just felt that I needed to do it!
So glad to hear that the surgery worked out well for you and that don't seem to need the eye surgery. It's also nice that you've focuses more attention on your fitness and gotten back to nature. I value your video content and consider it to have long-term value. Thanks again, and many wishes for your continued happiness, Gord!
Hi Terry... my apologies for such a late reply. Thanks so much for the good wishes, and YES, it is great to have my eye situation stable. I'm so glad to hear that you are getting long-term value from my content. It's always been my intention to create evergreen content of value and comments like yours confirm that! This just an update for you since this video - I'm not sure when I'll publish it again on UA-cam, although I am thinking about getting back to it often. I've been very busy with client work, my course creation work and bringing some digital assets to market. Stay tuned!
Gord, I love, love, love this video. Brilliant. Both in story, vulnerability, and quality video creation and elements. So happy to see you back and with new perspectives and evolution. Look forward to more of these types of updates.
Thanks, Benjamin! This was a big effort for me. And, as you well know, lots of memory lane to cover. I so vividly remember when you brought me McDonalds and Tim's stuff post-surgery. I felt like I hadn't eaten in a year.
wow amazing, thank you for sharing, wish you the best for the future.
Thanks, Gord. may God bless you with good health. There is a lot to learn from you💗
Thanks Gord. Nice to see your back. I produce about 5 videos/week. I am going to play this video every morning when I get up. Some great personal health ideas.

Wow, what a story! Good to see you back! Keep it up! ~Matthew
It´s so nice to see you again!!!
Welcome back Gord! Good to hear you are finding great balance in your life! 😀
Hey James, much appreciated! You nailed it, balance is going to be the key for me. I too easily go overboard, and sometimes the wrong way. I'm more aware now!
I am younger to you but still, God Bless you, and Keep it Up, Sir. Long Live with good health and have abundance.
Fabio, thanks for these kind wishes. I wish you such good fortune as well!
Happy to see you healthy and happy ☺️
Dear Gord, I'm new to your videos (being a new Camtasia user). Already I have learned so much, and a few of your videos have taught me my favorite Camtasia tricks. I was very touched by your honest report on the last few years. And I'm so happy that you have healed in many ways. We are all struggling with the issues you mention of health and workload; you have opened up and enriched the conversation for everyone. Thank you! All the best wishes for everything. I look forward to more great videos!
Thank you! Are you using the latest release, Camtasia 2021?
Inspiring story! Great job, Gord!
Thanks, Tom and Tracey. Being a part of the Creator Space community has been HUGE in my coming back and getting inspired again.
I am happy to hear that you are doing so much better.
I have missed you and your videos.
I look forward to learning more from you this year.
I hope to get going on UA-cam this year myself. May God bless you in all that you do.
Hey Robert, thanks for sharing. I too miss producing. I'm going to be careful and pace myself, but I'm very excited to be back - let's see what unfolds? I wish you good luck on getting started on UA-cam... starting is often the biggest hurdle to making great progress with your dreams.
Welcome back, sir! Sorry to hear you were having problems, but it sounds like you're kicking issues in the butt, and good for you! Looking forward to some more content.. when it arrives. :)
Thanks OdaNurd, I feel I'm on the winning side of things, but I need to be careful to not overdo things.
Awesome video Gord, you are heartwarming. Looking forward to your future videos.
Hey Jim, thanks for your kind words. I'm looking forward to producing more for sure. I hope you are doing well :)
You're an amazing person. Thanks for sharing your story and talent.
Thank you for your kind words. Sharing my story was vulnerable for me but when I see comments like this, I know it was good that I shared.
Amazing Inspirational Story Gord. Definitely going to take a step back and think. Thank You for this video
You're welcome. Taking the time to step back and think is so important! Grant yourself the time :)
Thanks For coming back sir
Thanks for the update, and sorry to hear of your health issues. I'm glad they were successfully treated. I haven't done much UA-cam creation recently, but you gave me some great advice on lighting a few years ago, for my FreethinkingHealth video diary.
My pleasure, and thanks for your kind wishes. If you are looking for more tutorials, feel free to suggest some ideas ☺
I’m glad that your health as improved. Welcome back.
Gord, it's fantastic to hear about your trials with life. I'm happy to hear that you out of the city. Living in the city is glamorous, but eventually, the pace wears on your soul. I'm so glad you're out. I have to tell you that you look ten years younger. You look as if a weight has been lifted from your shoulders. It's incredible.
The channel's growth is proof that you are on the right track. Camtasia is an excellent program, and I will always watch your videos and support your channel. Best wishes to you, my friend. You're a champion.
Hey Scott, thanks for your incredible support! Yes, I just found that the craziness of the city was wearing me out and I wanted to be closer to nature, all around, without the traffic grids... lol. Each time I wander back into the city, I can't wait to leave. I can do special shopping on trip visits, just 1.5 hrs away. I'm looking forward to seeing where you are heading now as you partake in the lab program!
It is good to see yuo back Gord. Great video as usual!
Hey Peter, thank you. It's nice to hear from you! I hope all is well with you.
YOU ARE BACK!!!
I'm glad to see that you are in good health.
As usual, your videos are very compelling.
I answered the survey. We need to talk. Now I can see how you can help me with my Y channel and my business!
Very well done, my friend!👍😎
Thank you, Ivan! I greatly appreciate your friendship and support. You know how to reach me!
Love you Gord. I am so happy you are back! You have such a gentle soul. This is a very touching and courageous story.
Thanks, Darrell. I've wanted to share what happened for quite a while now. BEING vulnerable is something I'm embracing more and more. I wanted to share what's gone on - to let people know that would have been curious, and to show people that they too can come back - they choose their own way, no one else does.
❤️ stay safe and stay well. Love you are back.
CFO Hire by Asad... thanks for the good wishes!
great to see you back mate and looking as fit as ever , you rock gord well done
Yo Neil! Thanks for those kind comments... I better go for a walk now to keep up the "fit" side of things 🤣
Gord - as a fellow UA-camr (in a different industry) I can tell you my experience is that your UA-cam ranking is more dependent on the quality of what you produce than the quantity. Think of it this way (analogy) -- when UA-cam was new they wanted videos to fill up a library. Because they wanted a lot of videos, they rewarded for quantity. Now the library is full. They don't need more videos, they need better videos that the users enjoy and encourage users to go to UA-cam. So, us creators are rewarded more by quality. Quality is defined by consumer interaction and subscriptions. So, I encourage you take the breaks you need and focus on producing great videos. Thanks for coming back!
Hi Matthew, I totally agree! Thanks for your feedback. I see my channel as comprised of quality, evergreen tutorials that have stood the test of time well, so far. I intend to keep the "quality" perspective as a driving factor for creating, as well as listening to what the people say. And, the power of knowing when to take a break is key to me as I need to watch my health status pretty closely.
May God bless you with Good health
Xxxx yay the man,a back and sorted. Voice of reason. ..best vid on YT EVER. Xn
Hey Nancy, thanks for your comments. I never really thought about it, but yes, I think what I've done is mostly common sense... and a little luck.
Good to have you back.
Welcome back Gord! So glad you're back and feeling good. I'm looking forward to what's next.
Hi Brad. Thanks for your great support! Me too - I'm looking forward to see what unfolds :)
Bless you Gord - looking forward to chatting with you in person and I just did the survey ;)
Hi Heather, I'm excited to be joining you and Michael next week. And, thank you for your blessings 🙏. Also, I greatly appreciate you taking the survey. Maybe we get the TWT community to take it too!
@@GordIsman absolutely, I'll add it to my list 😉
Nice sir
I wish you a great health sir.. :)
You are an inspiration for many👍👍
Indeed!
Amazing Gord!👏🏻 Welcome back my friend!!!🎥🙌🏼🤓
Thanks, Paul. Doing what I can :)
What's up Paul!
@@ScottFichter Hey there Scotty!💥👊🏻😎
So glad that your health as improved. Welcome back! I'm still making videos with our friend Camtasia 🙂
Ruibar, that's great! I'm curious, what inspires you to stay so committed to our friend Camtasia?
@@GordIsman Oh, the answer is very simple. My computer is old and I can't afford to buy a new one. I tried some free programs like DaVinci Resolve and they don't work here. Too heavy for this processor and graphic card. There is no point in changing these two components because the motherboard is completely out of date. I have to wait until I have money to buy a new PC. Thanks for your interest 🙂
Gord, you the Man. Brought a tear to my eye bro
Jason, thanks for sharing your heartfelt feelings. I can tell you, I went through many "why me" emotional moments along the way.
Welcome back buddy. Take care
Welcome back Gord!
Thanks, Doug! It's been a long few years... I hope to have some staying power now :)
Gord, you're a true UA-cam gem, there is no one like you on the platform. So glad to hear your health is in a good place and very happy to learn you're back in the saddle sharing your talents with all of us. All the best!
Hey Dave, thanks for your kind words. Looking forward to producing some more good stuff this year :)
Great to see your back sir!
Thanks, Michael! We need to catch soon!!!
Thank you so much for sharing your experience with us, Gord! You are truly a TREASURE! I only wish I knew sooner, as you would have been in my daily prayers! As a user of Camtasia, I have found your videos to be essential. You are such a brilliant, caring, creative person. We have been blessed by your ability to educate and communicate. I believe that there are a few people that are both right brained and left brained; They have the left brain side to understand all the technical information in depth and the desire to spend hours digging in and discussing it AND they have the right brain creativity (You bring so much "spice to the art of learning Camtasia, life") God bless you in your recovery and all your future endeavors! I am a subscriber!
Hey Katherine, thank you for your special words and good wishes. The left-brain side is my dominant side but I'm well aware of doing my best to add in the right-brain creativity - it isin't so easy, but I try with each effort to give my best.
God bless you Sir...
Thanks!
Say Hello from Thailand, You clips help me so much for many features of camtasia. I want to say Thank you 🙏
Hey Davich, from Thailand - very cool! I'm grateful to hear that the tutorials are helping so much! What do you like best about Camtasia?
U r my great inspiration sir...
Love from india
God bless you
Hello Gord. Sorry, I just saw this video, I did wonder what happened to you during your "break". (I was a worried for your health) I knew you had moved North. I grew up in Thornhill, so I did feel a local connection :). I appreciate your knowledge of Camtasia, and your willingness to share your skills. Your low-keyed presentation style is appreciated. I hope you stay healthy, enjoy your family, and living in the country. Cheers
Hi Paul. I did disappear and now I'm back, but not at the pace of the past. I've now got my health under control. Believe it or not, after this video, in late January I had to go to the hospital emergency in a near diabetic coma - I was near blind and having other aspects of my health fade rapidly. But now, just 4 months + later, and radical changes in my lifestyle and diet - bad shit kinda forces you there, I'm in great health and off all diabetic medications. Thanks for sharing your feedback on the quality of my videos. This inspires me to keep creating. I'm looking into some course or workshop ideas and if you feel like sharing any ideas of content I should cover that you think would be valuable, please feel free to share. I am loving it here out in the country - a far less stressful pace and lots of natural beauty around me.
@@GordIsman Thanks for the detailed response Gord. All the best :)
Looking forward to seeing more Of Gord ...
Welcome Back
Hey Mike, I hope to make more, now that I'm at a better level of health, and all things continue to stay that way 😊
@@GordIsman Me too on my New channel
Hey Michael, I hope you have fun and make some great content. Nice to see you back at it too!
@@GordIsman Thank You -
You have shown me some great tips ;-)
Gord, would you by any chance be thinking of doing tutorials on DaVinci Resolve 17. I think your Camtasia ones have been great; they have been a big help. Now I am beginning to use DaVinci Resolve more and would appreciate your kind of tutorials on it. SOOOO Glad you are doing better! I have just two words for you: Keep Smiling!
Hi Dale, thanks for the suggestion. I'm in the process of surveying and figuring out what direction I want to go - what mix. I know one thing... I wanted to do a few videos that explain how Camtasia differs from the other tools, like DaVinci and Adobe Premiere Pro. The Creator Space where I went to learn filmmaking - pre-Covid, has now been pushed online as well. Here's a playlist put up for DaVinci training: ua-cam.com/video/H195HKt0498/v-deo.html . Let me know if you found it useful!
@@GordIsman I'll give it a try. Thanks!
Glad to hear you are doing better and becoming whole.
It might be a stretch from your usual format, but I think a lot of ppl might be interested in the treatment for your eye.
Thanks! I've learned about a few different therapies, but the one I'm using with great intensity is the Bioptron Light - Photobiomodulation therapy. It's a Swiss technology. I learned of some protocols from a Chinese Doctor in my exploration phase, as well as the vendor itself. Since starting to use it, my tumor hasn't grown! I'm also taking therapeutic dosage levels of various supplements recommended by my Naturopathic Oncology Specialist. Who knows exactly what's they "key" to things for now, but I'm staying the course.
@@GordIsman I appreciate the information. I'm going to have some vision problems down the road so it's nice to know that there are alternate therapies.I'm a big believer in Chinese medicine: I've found it to be quite effective.
Thanks again for the information and for all you do Gord! We missed you and are glad to have you back
Thank you! I wish you great luck in caring for your eyes! You won't find my application in the general documentation of the Bioptron. I learned that more from the Chinese doctor and some other documentation I discovered along the way. That said, it's an incredible technology, and I use it for many things - helping my whole body. (Just felt like clarifying the details.)
@@GordIsman Just a suggestion, but I think your story would make for a great documentary. As a statistician, I know all to well not only the sheer amount of information there is out there (estimated there was more unique data created in the last 3 years than in all of the previous years of mankind combined!), but also how much of it is invalid. Of course, everything takes time and sadly, there is only one of you. Best wishes!!
@@thebigpictureofstatistics3282, thanks for the suggestion. I felt that I did create this a bit like a short doc, but geared towards the UA-cam audience. So many lessons in this last few years journey and I only shared some of them.
Gord is Back! Gord is Back! Gord is Back! #greatnews #justanotherreasontolove2021
A ha... good one Jim! Thanks for your cheering support!
Davinci Resolve for the win!
Hey Grant, I'm really enjoying using it!

I believe in quality over quantity of consistency EVERY time.
When I start my channel, I will focus entirely on "evergreen" content.
Great approach, Grant! I believe it's what has given me some growth longevity. I'm looking forward to evolving the kinds of evergreen content I produce as well.
Welcome back, Gord! Great to see you!
Hey Troy, great to hear from you! Thanks for the good wishes!
