    In the tutorial, I'll be demonstrating the new Emphasize Audio Effect and showing you how to set and tune the Emphasis, Ramp Position, Ramp In and Ramp out parameters.
    I'll walk through Camtasia audio editing examples featuring the Ramp Position for Inside, Outside and Span.
    What's really cool about this audio effect is that you apply it to the media that has the audio that you want to emphasize focus on, and Camtasia will manage the volume of ALL the other tracks that have audio playing at the same time!

    Audio ducking is a term that is thrown around a lot but few people have explained what it is or how best to implement it in video production. Thanks for this tutorial. Great job!

      I think this is a great feature in Camtasia. It's simple to use and you don't need to be an audio editing expert.

    Nice video Gord! The other big benefit of the effect vs changing audio control points manually is that you can freely move you narration with the ducking effect and the ducking moves with it. No need to adjust your audio control points to match the new position. This makes it a lot easier to duck audio earlier in the editing process.

      Yes! Leif, I realized that I forgot to record a piece on that. Then, I was going to put in a Callout to mention it, but in the end, I forgot to share it. Thanks for mentioning this great aspect of the effect.

    Brazillian here! :) One doubt... I can apply effect in one ALL "voice track" ? Example: If the track "1" is my "voice track", we can apply the effec in all voices insertec in this track automatically? Sorry my bad english ! :)

      @GordIsman  Рік тому

      Yes, apply the effect to the track - your all-voice track - and it should work no matter how many voices are on the track. Think that the effect works on the "track", not just "one voice". So, for an example, if you have an interview on that track with two voices, it should work fine.
