    Very clear and concise. I like how the information was presented in a manner that wasn't so much saying that it is "the" right way, but rather "a" proper way achieving your goals. I believe to fully understand How an exciter is working you have to have a fairly strong understanding of how sonic frequencies are propagated. Where we're used to thinking in terms of simple gain which is basically How much force is driving any one wave or group of waves, harmonics allow you to fill in gaps between the waves at the cost of clarity, and phase separation allows you to have several waves occupying the same frequency range simultaneously, but striking your tympanic membrane at different times which may cause slight phase cancellation of the peak gain, but raise the perceived mean of the total gain to the listener...I'm still a bit fuzzy on it myself.

    Bring in more Dnb producers , less of the cheesy stuff that any guy who does music can do

      Well damn I didn't know DnB was so hard to produce...lol

    • @ThirdFocusMusic
      @ThirdFocusMusic 7 років тому

      Rutger dnb is not easy at all well some shit sub genres yes its easy like liquid dnb but neurofunk where they have master thiercraft by sound design and make intense crazy drum patterns along with creating thier own drums by rather synths or real live samples from drums (or addictive drummer) then have to shape they own drum samples or even hybrid synth drum hits with sampled drums. house etc or even pop music aka that cheesy stuff are easy as fuk to create, theres not much to it tbh but with neurofunk its prob one of the hardest genres to create has you must create everything on yourself while making sure it sounds good, with house and any sub genre i can create a track within a day neurofunk takes months

      Last time i checked Science, Maths comes to huge play into music technology Every synth, every Software or even hardware involves Years of research and maths. Look at Pure data, SuperCollider for a instance.Even in producing compressors involves bit of maths, Just saying broski. Just saying cheesy shit is easy to make, Prob reason why pop is most hated genre, Pop is just for teenagers still haven't found their identity, and pop is most easiest genres to listen to. i dont mind listening to cheesy shit time to time but creating it is easy as fuck, I'm more into insane compositions by film scores/trailers, Intense sound designers and drum patterns from dnb scene i love trying to create music that's hard to create not a average producer/chessy producer

    Nice video, but how do you print the vocal to audio if i may ask sir?

    • @MATTNASHMUSIC
      @MATTNASHMUSIC 7 років тому +3

      By printing audio I meant: I mixed a group of 4/5 different audio channels then bounced it down into one file to make it easier to work on the vocal mix with the instrumental. Hope this makes it clearer :)
