Great vid, thanks! Does your radio/audio work while the reverse camera is on? Mine cuts out while in reverse, and then audio is back when the camera is off. I'd like to have audio while reversing if possible. Cheers!

Great video! I've been debating on getting this or the dasaita from amazon. How well does apple carplay work? I know the USB in the center console does not charge my phone very well so I'm not sure if that would affect it.
I actually haven't figured the carplay out because it needs an app to run and I accidentally deleted / uninstalled it LOL. So I just need to get around to booting the app back in via USB install then I can test the carplay and I'll post a video :) I'm just awaiting a response I emailed their customer service tonight about it.
The Seicane HU can work with the h/k amp in 2015 WRX and STI or 2014-2015 Forester. You will need to provide a 1 2V amp trigger signal to a wire on the car's 1 6-pin aux harness. I also recommend using the new HU's line outs instead of its speaker outputs to feed to the h/k amp. To do both of those things, you'd want some harnesses that Seicane does not offer but are available from ae64. No aftermarket HU will work With the newer h/k amp in 2016-up models. Search the NASIOC forums for

Yes the RCA plugs female and comes with the male connectors too if you wanted to run something like a console or dvd etc. (but you can play videos etc. off USB)

This is a partnership video so the company just sends me out whatever unit they decide. If I was buying one I honestly might not have gone with Android and I'd have probably just gone a normal unit Kenwood Alpine etc.

@@SpencerHogg Have same car looking to get this. There are several videos showing you just need the CanBus adapter from the same company. It's 35 dollars.
Just put this in my '18 HK car, Talk to IDoing you need the Canbus(35 bucks) and to tell them to include the right harness(no charge). This thing is awesome, one thing to note is you lose rear speaker fade control.
You could connect to anything that powers on when the car is on, or you could do the interior illumination, etc. Whatever gets power when you want sub on!

Does not support OEM Microphone.
You will need an adapter and extension USB to plug to the middle armrest.
Reverse camera does NOT have the lines.

Why i put my car in reverse the back up camera lags like 10 seconds to turn on would you happen to know what could be the problem?
So you don’t need to buy any of the wiring separately ?
This about 3 years old now so there’s newer ones to check out but they do include the wiring you need to still connect and set it all up

plug n play but make sure you get all the right things you want but the options are up to you how you want it
