I can either press down or up, the switch seems to work fine but the motor turns only 1-3 seconds before coming to a complete stop. I changed the carbon strip inside the motor already
I replaced my regulator and my master power switch and the window is still non-operable. And yes i checked the fuses. What could be the issue? Does anyone know?
Sumtingwong Richard yep I have the same issue in my 93 Nissan bluebird. Wonder if it could be a wire or something because my central locking switch wasn’t giving any power?!
Very intelligent.. Sir, my Hyundai i20 left rear window has no power when operating from driver side windows master panel. The other 3 windows has got power, but no power for this window. However, they are on at the same board. Why no power supply to this window?
Would it be a bad motor if the drivers side window doesnt work (up or down) but the other 3 windows work using the drivers window switch and their own window switches.
Still could be the switch only for the drivers window. If you can find the pin to send voltage to just hot wire it. If it still does not go up or down then it's either a motor or wiring break.
@@C2H6Garage what happens if the window when pressing down drops an inch then stops, but will go back up an inch? back window will go down a bit as well on the drivers side - but I also have to push up with my hands to close the window and over 2 - 3 days the window drops on its own an inch.
I put on a new main switch cause my driver's side window won't do nothing It did before but stop in the way half way up.Now I am still getting nothing could this be a bad motor??the rest work well along with the passenger side mirror.
Having same problem with my 99 Montero Sport. and realized something...if your window CAN go down...it's probably not your motor. why would the motor be bad...but, will roll the window down?.... gonna be switch. In mine, same issue. comes down...and is stuck there....but won't go up. i'm gonna try the 'jump' method on the underside of switch panel. thanks...
My 04/03 (not for sure of the exact year- I just got it) Nissan Altima SL driver windows doesn’t go up nor down but all the other windows function perfectly. Wondering if this is my problem, too? I don’t think It could be a fuse issue....🤔🤔
Good video, thanks for the how to. Would this be the same for a caravan? You should think about getting a tripod or octopus style tripod that you can wrap around anything so you are hands free videoing, it would help your videos exponentially. But good job.

Those are less reliable these days too. My 2012 Corolla needed to be fixed under warranty multiple times. Something would change inside causing about a quarter-turn of slack before the handles would engage with anything. Everything is made of plastic so the handles would break too. It’s clear that Toyota only designed them this poorly because they expected nearly everyone to opt for power windows.
Cleaned with crc electronic cleaner. All work now saved a bundle
That was a great video.
Now if i can apply it to my window.
Thanks 👍👍

You need to have the accessory power from the ignition on to have power at all.

Sounds like motors are getting weak
Have you fixed it? Lmk what the solution was. My Buick started doing the same exact thing
@@elizanimiranda4599 mine was a bad master switch so bought a second hand switch from Japan.
I have a 1999 Oldsmobile intrigue. It make the noise like it’s going up and down. But the window doesn’t actually move.
The window is off of the mechanical arms that push and pull it.
reattach the window regulator clips......clips have to be glued back to the window......
Wht if all windows are working except the driver on a four door..can it be the harness...
could be a switch, harness, or window motor hard to say, can you get access to the window motor and apply direct power?

Did you ever find out what was wrong with your window?
I replaced the window regular, window motor and the switch in less than a year and window still not working. What else you think could be the problem?
check the fuse an relay

Happening to my 09 accord
1 by 1 my windows went out. Now none of them work?
What if it only goes up 1 inch or down a inch
Might have something stuck in track or motor gummed up etc. Hard to say

Where can you get that tool you used to check the power?
Walmart....autozone or any autoparts
You can get it for free from harbor freight just show them the coupon
Should have kept the switch and dumped the truck.lol
the driver side window works, but the passenger's side is stuck. WHAT COULD THIS BE?
It doesnt work with the drivers or passenger switches?
@@C2H6Garage yes both switches don't do anything and no any noise.
Sounds like you are not getting any power to motor. Check you fuses. It may also be a bad motor. Have to get a multimeter to fully check it out.
