Another *vintage* lady here, born in 1960, began collecting around age 10 or so. My tastes in fragrances were heavily influenced by my Ma whose perfumes dated back to the 1940’s. My collection includes CHANEL, HELENA RUBENSTEIN, ESTEE LAUDER…..you get the idea! Thanks for sharing some of YOUR collection with us. ❤️❤️
My favorite designer fragrances are 80s and 90s power perfumes lol. But that's probably because I'm the same vintage. I wore Paloma Picasso as my wedding fragrance.
You are so adorable. I love watching you describe fragrances! ALSOOOOO I am DYINGGGGG to cut my hair OFF. Like short short, like yours. I just turned 50 but throughout my 20's and 30's I would grow it long then cut it off very short. Pixie cuts and I rocked short hair. I am beyond sick of having hair anymore. I dread showers (thanks to my lovely depression) so having to go through the shower routine and then brushing it out etc..I am just over it. I am so scared to shave it. I already feel old and ugly and I am afraid of feeling worse if that is even possible... I live in boiling hot FL and that makes it all the worse.. You totally ROCK short hair and we have the same shaped face. I think that's why it looks so good so IDK what I am afraid of!! sigh... :)
Hello! I have been collecting and learning about fragrances for about 8 months now and just found your channel and LOVE IT and YOU!! First of all, love your glasses and vibe, and in another video, you mentioned how watching fragrance videos was calming for you... and you're so right! I never knew how to say it really or thought it might sound weird, but I feel the same way. Playing fragrance review videos is very comforting and makes me feel good just listening and learning with them! Anyway, I am a new subscriber! thank you!
The Givenchy Hot Coture EDP was my very first perfume love. My mom bought in the early aughts, and I fell hard and fast, lol. Once I moved into my own place for the first time in 2004, that was my first self bought perfume since I wasn’t able to steal my mom’s anymore. BR 540 is my signature scent now, but still love the nostalgia of Hot Couture ❤
Lovely. Thanks. Designers that I love are Scandal by Night, Decadence, Tresor Midnight Rose. I think the first 2 are discontinued sadly. Now I rock Idole Nectar and Flowerbomb Nectar.
I totally agree, we are losing the appreciation for classic & vintage icons in perfumery. I believe there is no complete perfume collection without those beauties. I prefer the Givenchy Hot Couture EDT over the EDP, it's a compliment getter. I also own Amarige.
Issey Miyake is a timeless fragrance! It was my signature scent for many many years! I still love it, but I wore it for too many years so I don't wear it anymore
I'm obsessed with lactonic fragrances and love Van Cleef & Arpels Bois Doré and Santal Blanc from their Extraordinaire collection. Definitely not "affordable" for a designer fragrance line though.
Ugh. This was my signature scent for years. And I guess my pH changed when I moved to another climate cause it smells like an absolute funeral home on me now. Devastating. 😢
OHHH I have some favorites for sure, been wearing Skylar coconut cove, Escada Candy Love, Replica Beach walk, and Kayali Utopia .. and a few others sprinkled in OH Im loving Ariana Grande thank you next but I have to spray it like every hour but I don't care, THANKS for the videos! your great
What a beautiful collection! I sure struggle with designer fragrances, the headache thing…. I’m thrilled with the earthier unisex direction the niche world has brought in recent years, it’s fun that my husband and I can share fragrances. But Dolce & Gabbana L’emperitrice was and still is a diehard favorite. Thank you for your content, you are a delightfully authentic voice in the YT community. Cheers!
Hi Olivia, i saw your videos on instagram most of the time and i just found u on youtube today. i love your contents btw, you're gonna be my go to perfume reviewer from now on!
Your videos and you just make me happy 😁 I’m happy you keep things lighthearted, not taking yourself to seriously on here. It’s so much more relaxing for us to watch that way. I adore you , love all of these fragrances, except the mugler ♥️🥰 thank you for this ✌🏼
I have and love all of your picks! I will add the original donna valentino, ysl libre line (edt and intense) , shiseido zen and flankers to the list. Also random question are you still using bbw sprays or did you declutter? I have so many i dont use anymore 😢
Perfect and Burberry Her were my first loves when I just got into fragrance. Unfortunately the Burberry Her and all of the flankers give me a terrible headache now. I still love Perfect and the intense!
I bought a travel spray of Hot Couture EDP, and I can’t stand the overdose of vetiver. It doesn’t smell like smoke to me. It smells like a dried herb. And it’s so prominent. My husband said it smelled like someone was smoking weed in our house. I’m going to see if I like the edt version.
I have over 350 perfumes and ever since my cancer diagnosis I only spray perfume on my clothes. It is an endocrine disruptor, and can be unhealthy if used constantly directly on skin. I have been purchasing only organic perfumes and making my own since my diagnosis. It is very difficult because I love my entire collection, but I get headaches quite often even after doing many detoxes I love love, love you and your UA-cam channel! I love your content, originality and creativity!
I too have a huge collection and only spray on clothing for health reasons. Honestly, it’s hard to say, but we all should as our skin is the largest organ and absorbs EVERYthing we put on it. So I spray clothing only because I adore perfume too much not to. It brings me comfort and joy! The big plus to this is that now every perfume is on the table for me, where as before only ones that worked w/ my skin chemistry I would wear❤! God bless you as you heal🙏🏼.
Chanel No5 is not necessarily for mature women but for sophisticated and very elegant women therefore not for young girls or very naive romantic types, more for a diva or femme fatale, but she can be 25.
In 35 years scents like BR540, Britney Spears and Jessica Simpson scents, D&G Light Blue, etc will all be what young people call “old lady scents”... and they’ll go back to what WE think of as “old lady scents” 🤣 You KNOW it’s gonna happen.

What a great tip on how to wear a headache inducing frag. Spray on lower half! I'll try that. Thankyou. X
I’m super sensitive so I do it a lot!!

L’eau Issey is a beautiful scent!!! I wore it for more than ten years, I love you mention it ❤❤
Issey Miyake is a timeless fragrance! It was my signature scent for many many years! I still love it, but I wore it for too many years so I don't wear it anymore
I wear it occasionally.
I'm obsessed with lactonic fragrances and love Van Cleef & Arpels Bois Doré and Santal Blanc from their Extraordinaire collection. Definitely not "affordable" for a designer fragrance line though.
I just bought a bottle of La Vie est Belle for my mom! But i also have my own bottle, it's such a great scent. Love Woman by CK too!
You have excellent taste!
Now I need that Hot Couture, BIG Amy fan here. She's still missed
Chloe Nomade. I love the Absolu but the EDP is beautiful too.

My husband doesn’t want us to share fragrances at all.

I love your review and the fact that we have similar taste in perfumes
Will you review Burberry goddess?
Could you please talk about the Nest perfumes? I love them and I’d love to hear your thoughts on them 💕
I only have two but I’ll try to get the discovery set.

Should I do a review of all my Snifs?
I loved the video. I have a few of your choices and I’m thinking in getting the Marc Jacob.
I enjoy them a lot!!
