I was speaking to the guy who coruns a wonderful independent perfume shop in Bristol (UK, shop is called Shy Mimosa). We were talking about gendering of perfumes and the bizarreness. He told me that in his early 20s he wore Fracas with a leather jacket and just owned it with confidence and the ladies loved it.

I had a very intense compliment from an uber driver. I was wearing Zaharoff signature rose and the driver needed to know everything about it and how impressed he was because the smell reminded him of scents he grew up around in the UAE. He got quite emotional, was a really nice moment that will stick with me. Also my other usual main compliment getters in my collection are Mancera Hindu Kush, Spicebomb Infrared, Mugler Angel Muse EDT, Hermes ombre des merveilles.
Wanted Girl by Azzaro never fails to get me compliments on dates. Ironically when I first bought it as a blind buy, I was kinda underwhelmed. But men drool over this perfume. When I met my now boyfriend for the first time, he texted me the next morning saying that his sweater smells like me after I hugged him. And now it’s my designated date night perfume lol 🖤
Alien by Mugler, Killian Angel Shares and Gucci Flora get me so many compliments. One of my coworkers said to me, “Kelso you just always smell so good.” and that literally made my day esp as a perfume enthusiast. I have a lot of perfumes which are mostly mainstream and well known. I really want to get into niche fragrances so I’ve started buying sampler sets. Def binging your videos to get recommendations to add to my ever growing list!

I've only experienced Andrea Maack's COVEN, which I love, super green, like stepping into a greenhouse nursery. Your description of ENTRANCE as a woodland fairy reminds me of another reviewer's description of Byron's GREEN BUTTERFLY :)
My most complimented by far is Byredo Bal D'afrique & Stora Skuggan Fantome De Maules (If you haven't tried Stora Skuggan yet, her line is fantastic! Mistpoufer is amazing).
Funny little tidbit of conversation I overheard between 2 of my students one morning before class: -Oh, are you wearing cologne? -Huh, well, does it smell nice? -Yes! -Then it's not me. So I guess it was me. I was wearing This is her by Z&V😀
I feel like I should return a funny tidbit, I got a text from a random number a few years ago, and it was my very first high school boyfriend texting me to tell me there was a woman he worked with who wore the same perfume I used to wear and he took it as a sign to say hello 😂😂😂
Strangely enough, billie Eilish no. 2 has stopped people dead in their tracks when I walk by to tell me I smell amazing 😆 to me it just kind of smells like fresh cut wood that's been wet 😆😆😆 with like- the teeniest whiff of vanilla. But people really seem to like that one on me. And of course la vie est belle also garners an unnecessary amount of attraction lmao
I have STILL not tried the second Eilish!!! And honestly, La Vie Eat Belle STILL slaps. I got it for my mom when it first launch and I still wear it to this day.

People literally have chased me down when I wear devotion! Some people say it dosent last long but on me it lasts HOURS. I love it so much. Also when I mix narciso Rodrigues for her EDT with baccarat my husband can’t stop talking about it 😂
My top complimented fragrances (they are all discontinued lol but I keep buying eBay bottles): Dreaming by Tommy Hilfiger, Dreams by Anna Sui (blue bottle), and Nanette by Nanette Lepore (this smells like a more tart version of Delina and I like it better). Everyone loves these. Especially Dreaming and Dreams.
lol I finished a rollerball of tocca Florence early 2023. It was my everyday fragrance ❤. Current is a mix of ancient cosmetics body spray in caramel butterscotch and a rollerball in Burnt Flowers Fallen from Ayurvedic Witch (my friend’s Etsy shop)
People seem to like my Bon Parfumeur 402 and also Dead Sexy by Tokyo Milk. I like Invite Only too, I don’t usually wear leather notes but I like it in this one. Great content, thx!

Love wearing perfume but so many people ( it seems) ask me not to wear it around them. Sigh... when I had surgery, it was asked of me NOT to wear any scents because 1 nurse was sensitive to it. I get it . I wanted to comply of course.I was very careful not to even bathe that day . Asked doc if I could brush my teeth and also wear unscented deordorant. He said it was fine. Well the nurse complained that she could smell a scent on me.... I told her no , all I used was toothpaste that day. I told her all of the above and she was cranky and said she would deal with it.... Now I'm hesitant to wear any if I'm going some places. But dang! It's still a free country , right??
I would like you English speakers setedsome awarn about what country you are.. because is difficult for us not English speaker to guess .. and is important because some times for some frag depends on you ate I can imagine if is easy or not to arrives where I'm.. just a tip

Giulietta is my favorite from Tocca. I discovered it when it was early to Sephora so I was able to get the lotion and hair mist. Its really unique.
