Hi Bob, yes that was me and my company. Yeah that was the first two car cover they ever had, and thank you for the compliment I sure appreciate it and your support.
Thank you for sharing tips and tricks to install the router plate . I appreciate you making this video especially to help new woodworkers like myself .
Novice woodworker here, thanks for the detailed instructions! Was very annoyed there were 0 instructions or at least a diagram or template included with the lift from the manufacturer. I will be doing an install into a custom table top so this guide was extremely helpful.
Thanks for your video. Could you please tell me what diameter and cutting length your pattern bit was to cut the final pocket from the template. I have been having difficulty cutting my final pocket from the template. Thanks.
I have that exact same router lift. I drew it out in cad and cut the top out on my CNC. I am pretty positive that the top is actually metric. The radius of the corners is 20mm, or 40mm diameter.

Here are the bits amzn.to/3WFE8y1 and I used the 1/2" as 3/4" length would put the ball bearing above the template. Hope this helps!
This was my next project, Great minds think a like 😁

The underside looks pretty bad.
Okay, sorry about that. Thanks for joining in Richard, I appreciate you watching!
There is definitely a better way to cut the plate in so it doesn’t look like your sister cut the hole.
HEY! My Sister would be able to cut the hole, no problem. Okay she made me say that. LOL
Thanks for watching and the comment Billy, I appreciate it!
