SUMMARY & PERSONAL THOUGHTS
Other than the Rust Spots, small parts of Fading Paint, this E34 BMW is a Lovely Car. With HREs that cost more than the car, its an awesome Daily Driver. If you look past those things, it really is a wonderful car.
The whole point of this Detail was to DEEP CLEAN the car. It hasn't had a thorough deep clean of the Exterior since it was purchased by the new owner, so that's where I come in. We focused heavily on using APC, brushes, the Pressure Washer, a thorough hand wash, and some Clay to strip the Exterior of all of the nasties. NOTE the Foam Cannon is Meguiar's D101 All Purpose Cleaner at a 20:1 dilution ratio, with the "usual" amount of car shampoo that you would use in a foam cannon + water. Not straight up D101 and Soap.
Keeping in mind some parts of the car were rusted and chipping, we had to maneuver around those areas gently. Once it was all said and done, we dried it off, blew out the crevasses with air, and smacked some StonerCarCare's Ceramic Detailer on the paint to really bring it back to life. This gave it an AWESOME glossy finish, provides UV Protection, and some SLICK hydrophobic properties. We also wiped down the wheels with it because why not?
Overall this car is gorgeous. Yeah it has some "stains" but an E34 is just a CLASSIC 5 series BMW. And in my opinion, a classic E34 / E39 is the perfect Daily Driving Car.

Do you use straight apc and soap in your foam cannon?
No no! Lol, it was about a 20:1 ratio of APC/Water in addition to Adam’s car shampoo. The APC is added for cleaning, and the car shampoo is for the usual lubricity, foam (to stick to paint and let the cleaner set-in), etc. (the normal amount that you’d normally use)
Nice work! How long does it take you to wash a car with filming the video as well?
Lol, the camera work just about doubles the time of a detail. 99% of the time when I ask a customer for a longer duration for UA-cam, its never an issue thankfully! For Example, this detail would normally have been an hour and 30 minutes give or take, but took roughly 4 with camera work.
Lol.. Wheels cost more thank the vehicle.. Smh.
