    I am very unsure about certain aspects here. Are the insides of the doors, etc. going to dry before they rust? Is the mold inside the cushions? Is the estimated rest value of the car high enough to make a thorough cleaning operation economically viable?

  • @thousandhounds
    @thousandhounds 11 місяців тому +2

    I'd personally never continue using a car that got that bad, even after a cleaning, unless the entire interior was stripped and replaced. Breathing mold spores can cause allergies, asthma and in worst case cancer. With porous materials like fabric or mattress etc. you can never guarantee all traces of mold have been cleaned off (not without penetrating boiling temperatures or strong chemicals) and they could stay hazardous for years and even relapse.
    So yeah, I'd say cleaning a car like that is a bad investment, for your health. And like everyone else says; you should wear a respirator.

      He said in the beginning that the owner busted out the back window because they didn't have the key, didn't get the window repaired, and the car got extremely moldy. Now I don't know why in the heavens you wouldn't just wait and call a locksmith, especially because now the car will NEVER be 100% mold free, even though he did clean the visible mold.

    Can you please start using a ozon generator on cars like this.. It's a scam to make people think that this is enough to make the car safe!! There's still mold in the cushions, air ducts, dash etc..
