Fallschirmjägergewehr 42, translates to parachutist rifle 42. Ordered by Herman Göring bc the para's used to jump with only grenades, Pistols and machine Pistols. Te requirements were to be less heavy of as heavy as the K98 and not to be longer than 100cm, also it had to be semi-automatic as well as fully automatic. The weapon when firing semi had a closed valve and when firing automatic and open. Revolutionary for the time.

Love that you're playing HLL and would love to see you play some additional roles like rifleman, assault, or automatic rifleman. The recon videos are fun for the snipes, but the way you play lends itself towards tactical run & gun vs doing necessary recon squad things like building red zone garrisons, taking down back-line garrisons, interrupting supply lines, destroying nodes, OPs, and suppressing artillery. With the 2 recon squads being the only ones who can put OPs beyond the active attacking sector, it's important they play to this strength, as the game doesn't place any value on individual kill statistics (you're awarded points, but with no ticket system, kills are just 'feel good' points).

This really is one of the best FPS games out there now. Especially with a couple of friends in a squad.
So intense at times and so funny at the same time.
Now and then it feels like a dying simulator if you come from a game like BF or CoD.
But definitely my go to game at the moment.

for real. you really have to adjust how you move around and play the game which i love. no more running into the open without thinking in this game
@@dusty8789 Naw thats false. The only way to get 100 kill games in literally by running around and being super aggressive. Majority of the player base are boomers who suck at FPS games so its super easy to play like a cod gamer lmao. Also, many people dont expect it so it really helps, jsut zig zag and people will miss so many shots. Give it a try, youll be shocked.
I recently came from BF & I love this game as well. Much different ofc but that's whats great about it. If u take the the time to learn & willing to communicate it's awesome
@@GarmoGames Getting kills is satisfying in this game but just focussing on brainlessly rushing is boring af. The game has much more depth to it and it's way more satisfying to effectively play as a team and pick the more responsible roles to make the difference on a strategical level. Kills aren't even all that important when it comes to winning games.

the fg not being a one shot to the torso makes sense for gameplay reasons but remember it still shoots the same 8mm mauser that the kar98 and mg34/42 shoot
Hell let loose is definitely in the top 5 for world war 2 games of all time

This is my favorite shooter right now. I gave up on Battlefield 2042 and started playing this. I still have hopes that the next BF game will be more like BF3 than BF2042.
Same tho I gave up on 2042 like before it even for playable again. I’ve even stopped playing BF1 cuz honestly there’s nothing like HLL it’s too addictive. And I’m extremely average and die a lot

I’m still playing bf1 and 5. But congrats you enjoy playing 2042 and HLL. That’s so awesome we are all very very impressed

one time i was a medic in hell let loose, and there was this downed guy in the field, so right when i was about to heal him, artillery went of infront of me and split him in half and i survived and it was the most traumatizing thing ever
Battlefield V was my gateway drug to Hell Let Loose. Hell Let Loose was my gateway drug to Squad 44.

AT is so fun in hell let loose, I've had games where I'll get 4 or 5 tanks down and it's just so satisfying.

I tried… for me it worst than 2042 for my mental health. I actually like 2042 but I wanted sonething different. I would love to like hLL. Just can’t get into it. Its so hard to see people. Its so slow and passive. There is something I like but i just die non stop. Have not understood it yet I guess

Could just play BFV, it has the current anti cheat of BF2042 and is the most “alive” BF game to date.
I've seen this gun for 2nd time in a GAME ...but 1st I;ve saw it in Wolfenstein - Return to Castle WOlfenstein ... it was called Paratrooper
I've played Hell Let Loose a bit, but I've still yet to try armor or recon. Most of the time I just run medic or other infantry, but I need to try out armor and recon.

The only game I still get 'Battlefield moments' in. Love it.
No game has replicated the feeling I got sitting on a tree line with an M1 Garand in Hell Let Loose. Had an open field in front of me with 2 sqauds running across, picked 8 off 1 by one until they found me. Immersion was on another level.

Best thing recon can do is take out arty and garrys on enemy points as recon you can place your outpost anywhere in enemy territory and sneak around the back
This game IS so much fun, and it definitely deserves more love and attention than it gets. Love the smaller/great games getting more attention.

Love to see the HLL vid!! Always been playing the BF series and Warzone but I got fed up with the Meta ruining the game. BF is just not in a good place atm. This game has got me hooked! Majority of the community is more mature. Sure it has some flaws regarding the QOL but you’ll see past that once you’re committed!
