It’s so refreshing to see reactors who haven’t already heard all about the show. I love your genuine reactions. Stay with it. The show gets better and better.
Aww "bless her heart". So kind of you to notice her weird situation. She's used by a horrid man and still finds the heart to uplift him when he's marginilized and feeling down.
I haven't heard anyone comment on how QC had nothing of value to pass to her children when it comes to love because all they've done is see her struggle. So insightful. They had real love. But they also had real struggle with his issues. In enjoying your reactions so much 🥳
Thank you! After seeing episode 4, we genuinely believe they loved each other. It had to be difficult for the both of them and their children to witness George struggle with his mental illness.
Agatha was Lord Danbury child wife and he lived like a playboy, he’s an abusive man. The next 3 ep will be heavy, if interested you can read up on King George III mental illness, apart from it he and Charlotte did shared a true love story. This point in the story Charlotte was 17, George was 22 and Agatha was 21/22
I appreciate how insightful you both are, I've watched the series a million times but you had perspectives I hadn't thought of. I'm really enjoying these reactions and you keep me laughing too. Bravo, loving watching y'all discover this fantastic season.
For Lady Danbury and many if not most upper echelon women of that time, their marriages were to secure alliances. To love someone you were married to then was a bonus. Women of that time (in high society) knew very little if anything about sex or sexuality. That was supposed to insure they were chaste (virgins). That's why L. Danbury only "supposed" a woman could enjoy sex. She wasn't asexual, she just didn't know of sex as other than a marital duty: especially since she married an old man who only saw her as a object for his sexual pleasure.
Stumbled across your page and I'm enjoying it. The show continues to get better each episode. Appreciate your genuine reactions. I subscribed when you reminded us at the end. Keep going.
First: congratulations on your new channel. I wish you success. Second: Lady Danbury She was expected to perform her "marital duty." She supported her husband because she understood -during that time period her fate was tied to his. Women could forge careers or start their own businesses. They were dependent upon husbands. Also, as we saw with Queen Charlotte, marriages were arranged. She could not choose to marry the man she loved (she lucked-up). As noted in each Bridgerton season "Love matches are the exception."
There is SOOOO MUCH MORE going on with George. But by episode 4, you're gonna know all. Great reaction and your incites on Queen Charlotte and how she has to be so strong 😢 then and now
I love everything Bridgerton. Y'all are doing a great job. His comebacks are hilarious. I have to say I don't like the print across the screen, but that's all. Thanks for the videos. P.S., could you introduce yourselves?
"I suppose I should be funding a school for orphan girls in honor of my husband instead of mourning his loss?" You can do both, Violet! Don't act like helping poor girls is beneath you or inhibits your mourning. Although I somehow think her husband would like her not to be forever frozen since his death. Sorry. Violet annoys me in that scene. Yes, help girls get an education. I bet Eloise would bless you!

We're looking forward to it! We just need to find out what's going on with George! 🤣
I love his hate for Lord Danbury 😭😭😭😭

" that's yo ass Mr Postman" 💀💀
Love your reactions! Great insight that the only person taking care of QC is Brimsley and her daughters. QC is focused on taking care of George
She was apologising because instead if addressing what she overheard she was ignoring him.
Not just ignoring, but being and acting angry.

He didn't appear to be very good at it.

Thank you! We appreciate the dialogue. We agree Lady Danbury was performing her marital duty. We just felt bad for her situation.
