So now Rick has this big dilemma Like Rick said He probably will kill us anyway. But then again like he said what if he’s not What if this is the answer. And it’s a tricky decision because they have just found and secured something that remotely looks like an actual Home. So I understand his struggle and I love that he told Hershel because if anyone can talk him out of it it’s him.

I love the Governor’s story about his wife. I always thought it was a sincere moment to bond with Rick and allow Rick to let his guard down. I also got the feeling that Philip was taking different approaches to test and manipulate Rick The story about his wife seemed to bother Rick because it mirrors Lori’s death to a degree.

Andrea: What happened with Maggie? Hershel: He's a sick man. That little line from Hershel was the best and shortest way to describe the Governor.

I get there was a lack of trust, but Michonne was helping. So there was no reason for Rick to hurt her. Idk why the writers made that choice.

this is a good episode. remember with everything going on the line of sanity is always Fragile. unfortunately there are no therapist. so they all are straddling the line of CRAZY AT ALL TIMES!! imagine living like this 😢.

My FAVORITE episode of the entire series!!! The dynamic formed on this side trip is so important. Michonne understanding Carls need for that photo is everything...its his and Judith's momma and he wants Judith to at least know what she looked like bc that's one way to keep a person w u after they pass...along w the stories etc. Carl loves Judith so much and knows the HUGE sacrifice Lori made to make sure Judith came into this world.

Rick is loyal. He wanted to take Morgan back with him to help him heal. I really like the vibe between Rick and Michonne. I saw it from their fist meeting at the prison fence. Can't Wait ❤❤❤

One of my favorite episodes and sets up pretty much everything that happens in the series, afterward. How Rick and Morgan reacted to one another was very important for each's psyche. And Carl had to be made to understand there are others around him. That he does not have to go through stuff, alone. Then there is Michonne. Rick brought her with him, but he has not fully let her into the group. How will that play out with the others. Will it?

One of the best episodes to this date the scenes between Andrew Lincoln (Rick) And Lennie James (Morgan) are just fantastic Two of the best actors on the show no doubt and it’s pure magic.

I look at this episode of Rick looking at Morgan as a reflection of who he could become We saw what Rick was like losing Lori Imagine what would happen if he were to lose Carl and/or Judith Lose everything.

Love this episode The dynamic between Michonne and Carl The reconnection of Rick and Morgan Good stuff.

All the years later this still gets me Lennie James is such an incredible actor.

I couldn’t believe Carol suggested that to Andrea the first time I saw it.

I loved how Andrea was saying to Carol that Rick had gone cold in hopes that Carol would be the sweet supportive mother of the group Instead Carol told Andrea what she should do and that moment made Andrea realize just how much everyone at the prison has changed (how they had to change to survive)

One of the biggest criticisms I see of the show is these slower character driven episodes Personally I believe they’re necessary because they make the conflicts impactful Occasionally they go a little too far and border on being boring but typically there’s a point behind all of it Try to remember this is a long running series and every piece of character development adds to their overall arc In the end I believe you’ll appreciate the show on a whole Sometimes because of these slower episodes and sometimes in spite of them.
