    anyone watching this interview would agree that this story doesn’t pass the smell test.
    What business owner sends out large wires without verifying who the recipient is?
    What caterer/event planner shows up to a venue without communicating with the venue in advance?
    Which owner of a business sits back candidly talking about a crime that shut him down?
    Which owner of a business goes on video and calmly and collectively speaks about a crime against his own business with a smirk on his face?
    Then he goes on to BLAME those that reached out to him, for not making him aware that there is such a scam on the planet…..
    Puhleeze…
    This seems like a cover up, nothing else.

    Notice he doesn’t once apologize or admit that he could do any wrong. No indication of remorse, guilt or shame on his part. Instead he blames and accuses everyone else by making light of all legitimate accusations/concerns and does it in the most arrogant fashion.
    Is he incapable to thank or even offer simple Passover well wishes and blessings to his many victims? Really?
    Pathetic

    So you have a 'bookeeper' that no one has oversight over, no checking that the funds transferred properly and timely.(purportedly 6 figures.) Heshy kept contradicting himself. I wonder what Judge Judy would say?

  • @joerubin
    @joerubin Рік тому +10

    It’s quite a scheme, you have to admit. As he mentioned in the interview, he encouraged all his guests to buy vacation insurance, and he said many did. Those people will recover their money from the insurance company. So even if he refunds all those who didn’t get insured, he can still pocket the money of those who did have insurance.
    By the way, when asked why he himself didn’t insure his event, his answer was “I didn’t practice what I preached”. That would be bad enough, but more likely he didn’t buy insurance because then they’d investigate his story and discover the truth.

  • @armusic4282
    @armusic4282 Рік тому +3

    So you send 5 or 6 figures to someone (a few times, it seems) via a method that you have no purchase protection on (a wire) without calling the vendor to confirm? Really?
    And "You don't owe anyone an apology"? Seriously?

  • @kristinesharp6286
    @kristinesharp6286 Рік тому +3

    The deposit amount people put down would be what the company would have to pay all the vendors. I am sure since they did not pay the vendors with the deposit money everyone will get a refund. Are these hotel programs even necessary or wise?

  • @clarkcant
    @clarkcant Рік тому +8

    This guy is blaming everyone for not warning him about phishing scams. Even if he were to be believed - that the hotel didn't reach out to him all this time, including when they didn't get the *deposit* - he and his "accountant" didn't do the most basic of due diligence.
    Also, if there was a phishing scam it would be with a similar email, NOT the exact email of the hotel. They didn't get hacked.

    This story has an easy resolution. If HG reimburses all the guests for the money they gave him, he is an honest man. After all, there is no heter (i.e. right) for him not to make them whole. If he does not do so, he should be drummed out of business. Insurance may not help in the future as the insurers may well refuse to reimburse people who get into another situation like this one. People now are on notice that where there is smoke there is often fire.
    BTW, the company has many names so do your homework on this issue. Many do have the name Aryeh in some form. I would suggest that people form a group, call HG to a Din Torah (i.e. rabbinic court) in the individual names of the aggrieved, and then keep people advised of developments.

    Mr Zev Brenner I watched all 3 interviews while it’s definitely entertaining please note you have zero halachic or legal authority .
    Who in the world do you think you are for judging this man with a wife and kids in Such a public setting?
    What he does or doesn’t need to apologize about is now debatable between every bored person who has zero to do with this. (No halachic authority publicly stated this was a need to announce for the sake of the future)
    What isn’t debatable is that you cant Apologize or undue the damage you did here to him.
    I ofc feel terrible for whoever lost money and had plans messed up there is no excuse for that but that doesn’t equal what you did to this man..
    When trying to leave comment on ywn not agreeing with this third interview of you publicly shaming him it obviously doesn’t post …..

He's a very slick con artist that always has an excuse. He tries to do good, but lies to everyone over and over mostly to everyone to make them feel he's a well known brand. Meanwhile he has non stop screwed people along the way in effort to keep up the show. It's arguably and likely falls under a ponzi scheme.
