Any way you can do a video on spn 1548 fmi 5, HVAC Duct Temperature - Current below normal or open circuit. The code pops up sometimes on a dash and drives me crazy.
If this is for a Cascadia, I had the same problem. There are two thermistors on the front of the HVAC box inside the dash. There is one for ambient temperature and there is one for the temperature of the evaporator. You can get both parts from Freightliner pretty cheap and they're super simple to replace. They are essentially thermometers that have a sensor built into them to send the temperature reading to your HVAC system. I am not sure what symptoms you guys are having but not only was I getting that code I was also getting a lot of water coming out on the passenger side of my dashboard, right AC would also blow cold, but if I ran it for a while when the water started leaking, I'm assuming the evaporator froze up and the air would start to heat up because air was not passing through the evaporator properly.
@@monicaallen5266 you are supposed to drain, clean the tanks and flush the fuel system until it is as clean as possible. That is an addition to the fuel pump. Sometimes it’s not in the customers budget so we do the best we can. You can use a magnet to help capture the debris in the tanks and try using clean fuel to flush the module.
I got a question i was offered remain fuel pump at a good price, the only thing is that qcv plug plastic connector is broke and the threads on the fuel has some damage where you connect the fuel line to the rail just 1 is some what stripped. Can this fuel pump still can be used?
Muchas gracias por los detalles, la verdad nos ayuda mucho sus videos
Thank you for all your information this help

If it is not those, your HVAC control unit is probably bad, could also be a wiring issue
@@ChuckMcnuggetThanks bud! Got those sensors replaced. Seems to fix my problem - no more errors!
I wish you would tell what the milage is on these parts when you do any of these videos.
Awesome video gracias Pedro. Where are you located?

Do you drain and clean metal out of fuel tank and inspect injectors for metal?

Save yourself the possible headache and go with new. More reliable but new is more money.
@@CarlosDieselElectric ok but over here on the east there is alot of remains that are sold if you know of a place to buy I will look into it.
@@tyronet74 I understand
How many hours labor in that job
I want to know too
Maximum 3 hours I do usually
On a DD15 you have more room and can move faster. With the DD13, short nose Cascadia the room is limited and takes more labor.
There's no oil going to that fuel pump is there? It's only fuel lines correct?
At the gear there is oil to lubricate.
