There were a few Indonesian restaurants near where I live in the US. The place was always empty whereas the next door Thai restaurant filled with a long line of customers. Upon observations after dining at the Indonesian restaurant, I learned that although the food at the Indonesian restaurant was really good, if not better than the next door Thai restaurant, the service was very slow and inefficient, and there was a lack of ambiance. During busy lunch hour, meals must be served quickly. Simply having yummy food is not enough recipe for success. Great customer service, speed, and proper food handling and cleanliness are a must in order to be successful. The places sadly ran out of business. Currently there is no Indonesian restaurant in my town. I miss the food though.
+AllforCJW I also notice that indonesian food is really strong with the herbs whereas Thai food tend to be more calm than our food cs they mostly only use oyster sauce, soy sauce and fish sauce... And u know most westerners aren't into those sharp as food.. Lol

Has Mikey ever did shows with Mark Weins? I Love both of these guys and it would be awesome to see a 2 or 3 day tour with both of them and their take on the editing of those videos on both of their channels. Any real overseas foodie fan knows how outstanding Mikey and Mark both are😊
Really love curry and pandan flavour.
I love how your speechless moments are here in Arizona! Lived here all my life and our sunsets are unmatched.
pandan cake seems yummy. beautiful-colored.
some of us called that titty cake...
hahaha...I wanna taste cendol, too.
@@duckrie1340 i prefer dawet than cendol(its same really,i think cendol has thicker rice flour)but yeah cendol is great too, especially if you're into sweet drinks

Yeayi!!! You went to Sate Khas Senayan!! Maybe if you happened to hv a bit more time in Jakarta. Go back to Sate Khas Senayan and try the Satay Kambing (goat satay) the best! And my favorite.. Tahu telur. Great great job! 👍👍👍👍

Hi! I'm from Indonesia, hope you enjoy here in Indonesia!
When he said it looked like a ufo I saw a sombrero
for crab or clam dishes I highly recommend with "saus padang" sauce the spicy sweet combination of this sauce is just perfect for crabs and clams
Abang kue pancong Mendunia😄
Finally!!!!!I've been waiting for this. I didn't see tunjang, it's beef tendon 😱

*Brings A Plate And Pretends To Be In The Video* :)
I just ate a huge dinner, I can't watch this right now. I'll come back in a few hours when I'm hungry.
The curry fish head is indeed better than Singapore one
They are different. Not fair to compare them. As much I love the Padang one (can't find anything like it in Singapore, have to fly back to Indo), I love the ones in Singapore too.
@@mizuko2001 I fully agree with you. Singapore's fish head curry is different but still savoury in its own unique way...
So glad to see you enjoying Indonesian food so much 😁
Mana yang orang Indonesia
Lol
Hadirr
Hey Mike I just love to see you eat all different kinds of food. But boy Mike some of them I can't eat. You do make me hungey every time. I run to the market if I don't have what I want to eat in the house. I just love all your videos. So keep on making your videos 😀💞💞💞

This fish is like ......have you ever been to niagra falls 😂😂😂okay I’m done .
Indonesia, the culinary heaven...
Please don't compare great food with Beyonce. It's a disgrace to great food.
hahahaha 😂
Not a fan of Beyonce? Fine,, but she's already widely accepted as one of the best Diva
@@__silver__
I understand she is a superstar, but I like foods better than singers :p
Well I mean as far as comparison goes it's not bad at all,, I'll say that Beyonce is pretty spectacular at times.. bad comparison would be if he compared it to like Miley Cyrus
Can't agree more w NK
