In vanilla you can go all the way through the fascist path but never become fascist and just stay non-aligned, in Kaiserredux Texas can become independent and get multiple options for a monarch

You should try this challenge: Use the a cheat mod and play as Norway you have to defend with only one unit no navy or airforce and cannot build more units through the entire playthrough
