I have all the parts on order to repair my trike so I can ride it. If I'm lucky and the repairs go well I'll get my first ride by the middle of the week.
Thank you. To be fair, the problems are minor and should be easy enough to fix. I'm really hoping to start riding this weekend. I need to drop by the local bike shop after work sometime this week to buy a helmet.
@@IvyRosethebus Thanks. I'm enjoying fixing it up. If I'm lucky I'll be able to ride it by Thursday. It sort of depends on when the rest of my parts and tools arrive.
I had a friend over today so I thought I'd risk transferring to the trike. Things worked out pretty well, despite the trike seat being a bit lower than my powerchair seat. I think I'm going to need a Velcro seatbelt though, the seat isn't very deep and I don't feel like I'm getting enough support under me to be safe. I remembered not to lean back, that would have been bad with no backrest support rod. :)
You are very good at problem solving! I hope you get her up and running soon. 😊
