Step one:
Put it in the tank
Thats it jack
Make sure the gas is low though. That’s pretty important
Bless and great info and comments, so it’s best to put in low gas tank with little gas correct, even though I have code P0203 for fuel injector thank you much and God Bless
Scotty is a great person to watch on UA-cam!
ALWAYS use a fuel treatment that contains PEA (POLYETHER-AMINE). This one DOES NOT contain any PEA, so it does very little…
yes it does literally sys on bottle knows to cause cancer
Redline is king
can u detail what this PEA do?*
It says to put whole bottle for 25 gallon, best to use half at a time
It says "Cleans up to 25 gallons"
Yeahh i used it on my Honda Accord an got an extra 25 miles n it holds 15 gallons
@@OmarHernandez-iu2zcI've used this cleaner and others in my high mileage 6cyl accord and it's safe to use the whole bottle with a full tank 👍
Yeah, my tank is a twelve gallon. I use half of the Lucas bottle in it per gas full up.
I put additive at end
So do you use fuel cleaner before an oil change or after??? Sum people say if you use it after an oil change it’ll dilute your oil but the only facts Ik is direct injection engine dilutes your oil……I dont think it’s bad to use fuel cleaner after an oil change🤙🏾 but that’s just me. I’d say when using a fuel cleaner carbon burns up in combustion chamber and leaves tru exhaust instead of goin into you engine oil.
I've used it before and after, won't make a huge difference since itll get burned off. It's not like you're supposed to run it all the time anyway. I usually throw some in at or before every oil change just to keep track of when I use it
How often are you OCI??? Mines are 3K
@@VickyLSavage02 About 3k miles as well. The 4Runner calls for 5K, but I prefer 3K.
Right because 5k I don’t feel comfortable with it or past 5k idk how people do 8k-10k OCI
@@VickyLSavage02 Synthetic Oils and Interstate miles are the only way you can get away with 8k-10k. Otherwise they're just lazy. Some people claim to be able to do 15k between changes on Good quality Synthetic but thats crazy to me. Known a couple of people like that though
Perfect video thank you just boufht this product using this method rn
I threw 2 bottles of cleaner in the tank and now my car is idling rough… is it wrong using 2 bottles? Cuz on the Amazon I saw someone said to use 2 bottles at a time
The directions on the bottle said to only use one bottle at a time. It treats up to 30 gallons
2 bottles is too much
@@aquaboy1650 yeah , it started missing but the problem was solved as soon as I burned the fuel
@@Dabal_Rone bottle every fill up
😭 it took over the octane now it's basically running watered down gas through the rail
89 octane is a waste. Regular or super/premium. I prefer Lucas upper cylinder lubricant/fuel cleaner for regular use at every fill. Once or twice per year I run a bottle of Techron. I use premium Costco fuel exclusively.
Bruh wym? It’s not a choice of which gas you can use🤣
Yep! Same, here! Costco Premium-only!🌟🌟🌟
Even regular Costco is good

Can anyone help me?
I went to jiffy lube yesterday and they said that a fuel system cleaning is recommended.
But it’s $160. Does that sound right?
Absolute scam. Do not go back to Jiffy Lube for anything. Run some Marvel Mystery Oil in the fuel tank a few times and you’ll be fine.
U wanna do some fuel system cleaning try changing out the fuel filter ....that's ur best bet
That's a rip off. Go to Wal-Mart are a Auto store. Way cheaper.
@@SteveContreras-m1hThat’s not easy on every car model. Some filters are in the freaking tank
To expensive to clean fuel injection is this work for Honda civic cvt 2016 ?
Works for my honda 2012. Amazed how the acceleration improved and power
Try running premium for a bit should help some
Do I have to fill my gas tank all the way up?
Yes
Great Vid
Hi, Quick Question, is it ok if I put 87 Gasoline after pouring the cleaner or do I have to do Supreme? I drive a CRV.
Use 93 octane!
@@patrickkerner1471 Thank you!
Use the gas your owner’s manual says. Unless changes were made that requires different octane, using a higher octane does nothing. The additional additives require specific conditions that only come from a higher spec engine. Look into cleaning additives that different gas stations have. Chevron is best if you don’t have access to a Sam’s or Costco. Use seafoam liquid as a gas cleaner every oil change. Dont worry about full or empty tank, it won’t be a strong cleaner, it’s about the Overtime effect after multiple uses. If you need it immediately, like to clear up a P0420, you put it into the throttle body while revving at 2-4k. After the whole bottle is poured, let it sit for 30 mins before driving the hell out of it. I wouldn’t do another bottle unless it’s *extremely* filthy, I’d imagine your problem is a broken honeycomb at that point. But your choice
So I have to empty my gas tank first?
Just needs to be at half or lower
My fuel pump is acting up, I think. But I'm not a mechanic, but he has some symptoms. Will this stuff help it?
All this is going to do is clean your fuel system. So if you have injectors that are starting to get clogged, this could help clear them up early on. As far as the pump goes, if it's starting to fail, this won't help it.
@@SlothKingGarage didn't think so. I think it's the pump because it has trouble starting and accelerating. But I'm not a mechanic
@@nicholasiezzi9790 what car
@@eviljesus6111 2004 Hyundai Sonata, now they think it's the spark plugs. I m taking it in on Monday
@@nicholasiezzi9790 try a fuel filter also
I have a code for throttle actuator control, maybe the fuel injectors or throttle body...think this will help?
This won't help that issue, since there's no fuel going through the throttle body. At the very least, there might be carbon build up on the throttle body, causing an issue there. Or it's the actuator itself
@slothkinggarage8135 yeah I replaced the throttle body & got it reprogrammed but the same code came back up🤦♂️
@@mrgrind210 When you read the code, did it list any other issues or was it just the actuator?
@slothkinggarage8135 nope just that code throttle actuator control motor circuit range/performance
@@mrgrind210 Hmm, I'm wondering if it needs to get calibrated again. Then clear the code to see if it pops back up. If it does, it could be a faulty part, even if it's new. Doesnt happen often, but might be. Or there could be something wrong with the wiring
Anything over 75k miles is NOT a high mileage vehicle. Specially a Toyota!
I have 335K and 195K miles on my two Toyotas. Both running like new
Thanks
So I have a question. I just spent $1800.00 on car repairs because it had trouble starting. It would take about 5 times to start. I noticed it started right about 20 times. However, when I go to the same gas station I always go to and get gas, it starts all over again. Could the gas I am getting be harmful?
What kind of fuel did you put in?
What did you have repaired?
It could be a number of things that is contributing to it
Yo super late but how old are your spark plugs and or spark plug cables my 01 mustang hated starting for a few months and wouldn't start in the cold turned out it only was making spark on 2 cylinders
@@tylerdewald6916 no mechanic could figure it out and tried everything. They think it is the computer system and told us to take it to the dealership. I have my doubts and think it is something with the fuel ratio.
@nicholasiezzi9790 other idea I may have for ya is that gas station may have bad maintenance on their reservoirs maybe waters getting in the gas before you pump and wacking the system
@@tylerdewald6916 Yeah, thats what I am wondering. Four mechanics couldn't figure it out it's at the dealership now so we will see.
You'd probably have to do that less if you just used premium fuel.
Premium fuel has 0 extra cleaners only difference is in octane rating, just use top tier branded fuel. 5x the amount of EPA required detergents.
Lol premium fuel doesn’t have more. CLeaners than the regular fuel. But different gas stations may have a difference like for instance shell is known for having cleaners in their fuels.
Oh brother 🙄
@@mars9075 Techron great also Shell and Mobile 1
Get aftermarket fuel injectors you will have better results
Wow no shit
Have you use heet
I haven't had the need to use Heet. But if you have water in your tank or are in temperatures around freezing or below, it wouldn't hurt to use it
@@SlothKingGarage I got the whole case I may use it after 80 k miles on my cars
Lol he uses 89 octane 🤔🧐
Those cheap ones are a gimmick. You need the. cRaf 504 I think is what it’s called
Where do you get that stuff from ?
And if you use that shit every time. It’s a waste .
89? No wonder
Cmon man don’t hit your grade of gas with the nozzle ppl hit that same grade with their hands and don’t want the smell of gas on them.
That's the reason why I use the nozzle. Duh
@@KRiiSPE you’re part of the problem so how you gonna comment on the problem 🤣🤦🏻♂️
Eww. I dont touch that button. I use the nuzzle. What if someone with a bad cold rubbed snort on their hands and touched the button?
I use my knee! 😂
Or rubbed a herpes sore
