Feel kind of bad for the other contestants who put so much time and effort to make their costume look perfect but it really was a no contest victory for hulkbuster. I couldn't even figure out how he engineered it for him to be able to walk and move around in it so easily. Not to mention the things is huge, heavy and probably really hot, especially during NYCC (Please javits invest is some better AC units).

I made 70% of it, and my apprentice made 30%, I did bring a team of handlers, it helped with the dense crowd. Its always nice when someone who does not know anything voices an opinion with no research. My success here did help me start my company, and employ more people though.
@@ExtremeCostumes As opposed to people who did it on their own. Congrats on the company but its irrelevant to this contest. It's always crappy when giant budgeted teams build these things just to overshadow genuine builders and cosplayers.

Qi had never touched EVA foam till she came to work with me. and I took him with me at every step, The judges were fully aware of every pary they worked on vs me. I was not "Giantt budgeted"....Which shows me how little you actually know about REAL builders and cosplayers. I was determined, and relentless. I worked on this for 10 months....WHo do you think is a "real" cosplayer? At what point do you stop being "real"? Making a company out of it is me turning my passion into something I can feed my family with, thats a dram come true. What have YOU done? You know, since you have decided to be the gatekeeper on who is genuine or not? Take a stroll over to my channel, 95% of everything on it is 100% me...I stopped making most of my videos once I built the business, and tell me again about who is real or not
@@ExtremeCostumes lmao GTFOH, You bragged about spending 60 grand on it with help from assistants who did all the aesthetic work and heavy lifting at the con and that's not big budgeted ? Keep playing victim.
@@mml3140 Hahahah....No I said I would MAKE one for $60,000. In parts I spent $2,500, Most of the work was my labor...How much would you chage for a year of your life? Then again, that would assume you have a skill anyone would pay for. Keep trying troll. Also, shure, claim having handlers is a bad idea....You clearly know nothing about the work or effort required in useing super large cosplays at America's largest comic con.. When you do something worthy of notice, please tell the rest of us, till then take a number.

How the Thing didn’t win against those generics is preposterous. Hulk buster had a team of like 9 people so not exactly a contest.
