It's funny to notice that you are using Xsens to record mocap data for Rokoko motion library. :P

Hi there, we are agnostic as to what systems our Motion Library publishers use to create their assets (WE are not producing them). Eric Jacobus has an Xsens suit which is why he uses that. Most of the other assets are made with either Vicon or Optitrack systems. Eventually we will open up so that all of our Rokoko users can create their own publisher profiles, but right now we still only have AAA studios as publishers. And most of them work with the really expensive optical systems (Vicon, Optitrack etc.). We just think that's great since the cleaned data from those systems is top notch! :)

Is this guy not wearing an Xsense suit...

    • @RokokoMotion

He sure is :) The Motion Library is "hardware-agnostic" and not connected to our own Smartsuit Pro any more than other systems. The Publishers can use any system they choose, as long they are creating high-quality assets. We thought having an Xsens suit in the launch video was a great way to show that :) Best, Rokoko

I think they're saying whatever the TALENT has at the TIME of making the video. As seen by their very long backlog of orders and the amount of professionals using this suit, it is indeed a very capable and competitive product.

Great to hear! If you download Rokoko Studio (it's free from motionlibrary.com), you can download the assets from there as FBX files and import to Blender. We'll upload a tutorial on how to do that one of the next days. Check out how it works here: ua-cam.com/video/REBTKTZUbpQ/v-deo.html Best, Rokoko

Is there a way to download them all in a zip file rather than having to find them and select them one by one to add to cart?

I just downloaded the Motion Library plugin for Unity and I found it hard to find the assets that I was looking for. I searched for "death" , "dying" and only found a few clips.. but if I browse through the categories, I found more... they just were not labelled properly... You should add something "tags" so each clip could have multiple descriptive tags that would help users find the clips that really are looking for. Browsing through all of them was painfully slow (as it would take seconds to refresh each page).. and loading the mini animation viewclip was also slow..

Thanks a lot for this feedback, Minh! I new version will be out soon addressing some of the things you mention. The Publishers are in charge of tagging their own assets, so that's not something we are in charge of. But we know how big a difference it makes in the visibility. We'll make sure to keep telling them the importance of this. Thanks a lot! Best, Rokoko

By the way, the plugin is usually very fast in load times. We think increased traffic is affecting performance just now after launch and are looking into it.
