I ordered a 2022 as well, I think yoshi makes the only exhaust for it so far. V&h is by far my favorite option for the last gen.

Ridin Dad I ended up getting a used werkes exhaust, I wonder if the Vance and Hines is this loud too. I love it but its so obnoxious
The v&h is very loud lol. I’ve never heard yours in person but mine is definitely obnoxious. Good tone but super loud lol
I ordered an Amazon one. . Did u do a ecu reset after installing the new exhaust?
I did not but shortly after I did my big bore kit with new ecu flash anyway. If you are just doing an exhaust or something similar and you were going to keep it like that for a while it does not hurt to reset the ECU at all. So I would say definitely give it a go

Just fit mine and have a gap between the mid pipe and muffler causing a leak. Looks like yours has the same issue, are you able to confirm this for me?
I never felt air coming from mine but there is a noticeable gap. The canister can slide on about 2-3 inches more probably if not for the mounting location. Unfortunately that’s just the style of it :/
@@RidinDad man that's really unfortunate. glad I didn't pay full price for this thing. the quality is so good I can't believe they'd overlook the fitment of the damn thing.

I have the same exhaust and love the sound but it is REALLY loud. Any thoughts on how to reduce the volume?
I can’t remember if they have an insert you can swap out. But it’s just a loud style exhaust in general. It’s the style. Larger headers make it louder too

im not mechanically inclined, i have a 2023 grom same as 2022... I have the same exhaust, but I have no tools.... So I am trying to see what the dealer would charge and they said prob 150$ to install it :/ does that seem reasonable.. How long do you think it would take to do this, there labor rate is 95 dollars an hour also said aboutr the same to install my yoshimura fairing eliminator
I would personally say maybe an hour tops? But I also would say that regardless of your skill level you could definitely install a small exhaust like this on a single cylinder motorcycle. You would literally have to be dumb as hell to mess it up. You could watch some UA-cam videos on it for your specific year model and spend about $50 or less in some pretty good quality tools that should last you for a really long time if not your lifetime. That way you will have tools for the future and have a knowledge of your bike more than you did in the beginning

I have a prototype of the V&h,,its way stronger than the yosh, i off road some and it has more low end,,,2019 flash v%h ,k cam,xr200 stainles cam chain ,cam sprocket balanced and gramed,,fly whleel weighted (24grams), drilled oilways 4.5mil,,throtel body dremelled shortend,,its all abot ya flywheel kids,chop 0n🍀💪

Hey how is the fitment on this thing holding up? I’ve seen some good and bad reviews on it. Also, have you noticed any power gains? I just got the new 2022 Grom and I’m debating on this exhaust or the yoshimura.
Power is hard to tell since I put the bbk in it right after and torment I never had any issue with but I’ve actually sold the bike a little bit ago

Any aftermarket exhaust would benefit performance. Yes they claim performance gains

Did you have to do any computer modifications or is it just bolt and go?
A tune is always recommended and I was leaving the bike in this configuration I would have tuned it. But I did a big bore kit right after with a tune
@@RidinDad my bike adjusted just fine to the pipe. I love it, def turns heads. Loud pfff this pipe is SCREAMIN.
Yeah it’ll be fine but a tune will definitely always help

Lol I hear ya. It also sounds louder to the rider then brights due to the upswept. So it doesn’t carry as far down like a typical straight back pipe sounds. It’s a nice sound and especially with the stock engine size I think you’re ok. But there’s some others with quite inserts if you’re worried

When I was looking for an exhaust I don’t remember seeing one for this pipe. But I could be wrong too!

Well thank you. And I’ve had people tell me good or bad. It’s divided. I choose to do the music because how I film the installs there’s a lot of blank time which would just be silent. Those who don’t like the music don’t have to listen to it too much but those that do get to enjoy music instead of complete silence
Adding the sounds affect of a pit crew while you’re working on it instead of music would be better, but when you’re riding or when you have the bike warming up at idle it’s best not to play any music at all, cause after all we want to hear the sound of your bike or other bikes that you film!!🤔 Cause honestly not everyone likes the music i like and I believe not everyone including myself like that new so-called rapp or all new music in general sounds BUNK AS F-:•k!!! It’s just a Thought homeboy, And a big WHATS UP FROM EAST LOS ANGELES CA Bike Heads, RIDE HARD N RIDE SAFE MINI HEADS!!!👌😎👍🛵🏍️🎱💣💯💯
